Great location. Though no couch or bathtub in the “Premium” room. No pool either.

Amazing hotel. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Concierge booked us dinner the first night we arrived at an amazing restaurant nearby, the bar staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend d the cocktails 👌

The sauna required an extra charge, which was disappointing for a 5-star hotel. Our first room was extremely noisy, and we had to ask to be moved. While the second room was an improvement, it still wasn’t particularly quiet. Overall, the experience didn’t meet the expectations of a 5-star stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location easy access to everywhere. The hotel itself is lovely, would love to have made use of the spa but was only there for 2 days and there was no early morning availability. Staff are all very friendly. No complaints will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. Our room was well-prepared and clean. It was well appointed and the en suite was fantastic. We didn't eat at the the hotel but used the gym which was small, but nevertheless very kept. Everything was clean and the exercise machines were well maintained. The hotel has a nice lobby to sit in and is right in the city centre. All staff seemed very helpful.

I stayed at the Anantara Grand for my 50th birthday. It was one of the nicest experiences I’ve ever had. From check in, to the breakfast buffet, all 5 star. The hotel is impeccable, no matter where you step. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms are extremely nice. The moment you arrive you’re greeted at the door, everyone has a smile on their face and are willing to help. The hotel is in a great location and everything you would want too see is walkable. I treated myself to a spa experience and the treatment was magnificent. All in all, this is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in and have decided to make it one of my life goals to stay at as many Anantara’s possible.

This was a beautiful hotel with a great staff! It was very clean and the room was spacious. The breakfast was delicious. They even upgraded us at no cost. We will definitely stay here again once we return. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Clean room good location best breakfast

J'avais choisi cet hotel pour mon sejour a Amsterdam et je n'ai pas ete decue! Je pouvais revenir a l'hotel pour un petit repit et repartir de plus belle explorer cette magnifique ville. Le personnel est souriant, courtois et tres avenant, toujours pret a repondre a mes interrogations. La proprete est impeccable.

Service was great and location was amazing. Cleanliness was not so great, dusty and saw silverfish in our room.

Cleanliness was Terrible!!! Staff didn’t clean the cups and glasses, and didn’t replace the amenities, including but not limited to slippers, and toilets stuff.

The hotel is in a great location and the staff are lovely. The room was dusty, had spiders. The bed headboard was tatty and peeling. I find it absurd that a 5* hotel only has one mirror in the room, which was in the bathroom. No full length mirror, and no where to get ready to do hair/makeup if someone is using the bathroom.

Guaranteed check in at 3 didn't happen. Staff didn't even offer to reach out when it would be. Felt unappreciated as a guest. The thermostat or whatever wasn't heating the room for crap. There was a shower cap tied around smoke detector. Lots of dust in room you can tell it wasn't cleaned properly in a long time and on multiple occasions I had things delivered and had to go grab them from the front desk myself because they just ignored it. The bed was probably the most uncomfortable square box I've ever slept on. The robes and towels are very nice, however I would never stay here again based on what they charge for what you get it's robbery. This hotel is for people that like to drink alcohol put simply. Walking distance from entrance to rooftop terrace room lift 4 is a very long walk!!!! First time and definitely will be my last.

When we arrived early, our room was ready. The front desk had amazing customer service. The restaurant had amazing customer service. Basically, all throughout the hotel was amazing. The location was close to everything we wanted to do (tours, museums, and restaurants)!

Comfort and cleanliness was great

The location of the hotel is perfect and only a 10 minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal station. Though the lobby looks very beautiful, some hotel parts are very dated. If you do choose this hotel, note that you will hear the church bell every hour until midnight. Also, look out for when they check-in and ask you to go up Lift 4. This is very far from the main hotel building, and it is a service lift to get to your room. Our room had stains on the furniture. The bed was comfortable, the room spacious and the bathroom was clean and looked upgraded. Overall, it was a disappointing stay but I would say choose this for convenience and not a long stay.

Great location. We found the A/C not up to cooling like we prefer in the states but not a deal breaker.

The first night we had no AC and it was extremely hot. A fan was brought at 12:38 a.m., but it was loud, dirty, and had a 2-hour timer, so we had to wake up constantly to turn it back on. The dam view was beautiful but very noisy, and we couldn’t sleep any of the four nights. Amenities and staff were great, and everything was clean, but overall the stay was uncomfortable.

Wonderful location, incredible staff, amazing breakfast! Only note would be that the sound proofing between rooms and the hallway is a bit lacking.

The a/c didn’t work and the engineer came twice and I was told they fixed it but they didn’t. They were going to come a third time but finally relented and admitted it couldn’t be Fixed and have me a different room. The shower door did not have a rubber lip at the bottom and water kept flowing out of the shower. The engineer was able to fix that. They did not provide milk for the coffee consistently and room service did not clean the room one day.

First of all, the location ! From the hotel entrance, the doormen/bellboys, and the luxurious atmosphere of the lobby to the female staff member who assisted me at check-in, everything was wonderful. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. I was satisfied with every aspect of my stay, and this is definitely a place I want to come back :)

Leider konnte man aus den Fenster nur eine weisse Hauswand sehen, schade. Sehr gute Lage in der Mitte von Amsterdamm, schön im Zentrum zu allem was wir sehen und machen wollten. Tolle Mitarbeiter, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereit.

Room service staff amenities were all fantastic the room we had was a little small though and we was right near a lift which was noisy with people coming in and out also from the street on the side of the room seemed like there was a courier or waste company also lots of noise from there early in the morning too

We had a wonderful stay, from checking in with Samantha, to the valet service when we got the Uber to leave.

I wish I could give my stay at the Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky 100 stars because it was just that AMAZING. The combination of modern luxury and historical charm in this hotel truly creates a unique experience. We booked a Premium Room with a Rooftop Terrace, and it exceeded all of our expectations. The room was impeccably clean, and the view from the terrace was nothing short of spectacular—offering a stunning panorama of Amsterdam’s iconic rooftops. The mini bar was well-stocked, which added a luxurious touch to our stay. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the exceptional service. The staff were beyond amazing, and I have to give a special mention to Luisa, the manager on-site, who was incredibly welcoming and kind, ensuring that every detail of our stay was perfect. The hotel’s central location on Dam Square, right opposite the Royal Palace, couldn’t be better for exploring and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of Amsterdam. The walkability of this area is fantastic—everything you could want is just steps away. Luxury shopping, world-class restaurants, and charming cafés are all within easy reach, making it the perfect base for both relaxation and adventure in the city. In summary, our stay at the Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky was flawless, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for an unforgettable luxury experience in Amsterdam, this is the place to be.

I really loved my stay. All the staff reception, bellmen, and concierge were super nice and helpful. The room was very beautiful, clean, and classy. The breakfast was really good and had plenty of options.

The staff here are fantastic i had an unfortunate injury on my foot and they looked after me all day. Thank you this is why i stay here every year

Excellent hotel. We had some delays on room availability by around 20 mins on checkout but we were fairly compensated (€150 bar voucher) and after checking we realised one of the two sinks was blocked. Upon raising this to hotel staff they gave us more compensation (€150 bar voucher) for the inconvenience. All in all very positive experience and professional hospitality. Breakfast was also delicious and freshly made options available rather than just buffet services like most hotels which was a plus.

Perfect location

I don't think you can get a better place to stay in Amsterdam. The location is amazing, right across dam Square and the palace. The cafes outside a perfect for starting your day. The staff and service are 10/10, this was my second stay at the Anantara and third time in the city. I will go back and definitely not even a question will be staying here again.

Very convenient. Upscale property but reasonably priced for value received. In the heart of the city and walkable to most all well-known attractions.

Great location—right at the Dam Square; 100 feet walk to a large upscale shopping center; walkable to Central (10 mins), Red Light District (5 mins), beautiful canals etc. Breakfast offered every morning and is of good quality. Concierge staff is very helpful— we rented bike through the hotel and was very convenient. The Tailor Bar has a classy decor and offers excellent drinks. Overall one of the best hotels in the location!

Due to hotel location the room was very noisy. Good choice for location. Not so good for relaxing.

What an absolute gem of a hotel the staff are amazing big shout to Bas who was incredibly helpful through my stay. The hotel was wonderful bedrooms are beautifully appointed and the bath is so deep I couldn’t get out ! Dirty Martinis in the Taylor Bar were exceptional Eggs Benedict perfectly done 5/5 definitely cannot recommend highly enough.

Location is great and breakfast is excellent. Bar is nice but there is not always place even for residents? The food at the White room restaurant is terrible!
