Southern Breeze Ocean Front Hotel

From the time we walked through the door the lady at the front desk seemed to have a very terrible attitude. We were there for a total of 3 days, no one ever asked us how we were doing, no one ever came to ask if we needed fresh towels toilet paper or anything. I have never stayed somewhere that you have to ask for fresh things. No microwave in the room. The shower barely trickled out any water and you were lucky if it was luke warm. They denied us our deposit because the towels were dirty but as I said no one ever brought fresh ones. The room door was supposed to stop itself from slamming but I guess the stopper was broke so I accidentally let it slam and the lady was very rude about it and wouldn't even hear me out or let me show her the problem. The whole staff seemed to not like white people at all as we would get devilish looks from them as we were coming and going. The TV had a weird line running right down the middle of the screen. I mean it was just over all bad. Terrible establishment with terrible people running it

When checking in the room was not the one I wanted and the air was not on at all. Then sent to another room that had roaches and was not cleaned and air conditioning was not working properly. Then tried to send me to another room that had no couch cover on it. I already had anxiety from the the second one I was not staying after the third one. BEWARE SHE HAS A NO REFUND POLICY FOR A REASON!!!!!

My room wasn't ready had to get a different room

Solo vacation trip. For the positives, bathroom looks to have been mostly remodeled. Other than the toilet and it's amenities, the bathroom looked clean. The lighting in the entire room was very good. As was the flooring. Now for the negatives. I'll leave that on the after-stay review.

the room wasn't as bad as the reviews stated. the only thing was hotels.com said I'll have ocean front but it was actually ocean view. not the worst case scenario given the total price of the room itself. the room wasn't dirty , it had an oven but no plates or silverware. the microwave is at front desk. check in went ok and the hotel seems like it's in a good location
