All inclusive, massive, beautiful grounds. Spacious, clean suites. More dining options than we could visit. Fun activities and events. Excellent gym. Service and friendliness from all staff was top notch. Didn't use the spa or golf course but looked good. Could use a tennis or basketball court.

Absolutely incredible resort with the kindest staff. Amazing food, spectacular pools — especially the Inspira infinity pool on the roof — totally worth getting an Inspira room in my opinion for that pool alone. I will be going back!

I've just returned from my vacation at ATELIER celebrating my sister's 40th birthday and am still in awe of how incredible the resort is. Every detail was well thought through, the rooms and amenities were incredible, but I must say the people working there were the best part and really went above and beyond to make our stay exceed all of our expectations. Some of the standouts: - Aristeo who served us all day every day at the pool. He's incredibly kind and hardworking all day out in the sun with a smile on his face. He was what we looked most forward to every day! - Our server, Carlos, the head chef Luis, manager Miguel at Casa di Luna. This ended up being our fave restaurant (the lamb are fried milk are a must try!) - not only for the delicious food, but for the incredible attention to detail to take care in preparing our meals keeping in mind several food allergies. - Armando (Kopai) and Roman (Maria Dolores) were also incredible servers who were incredibly kind and had great attention to detail re: food allergies. - We loved the art workshops with Tabatha and the pilates classes with Arturo / Sara (they are tough!). The morning stretching at El Cielo are a must! All of the restaurants served super delicious food and were very accommodating re: allergies. We didn't have any issues all week. The gym was great and fully stocked. Overall, highly recommend ATELIER and we will most certainly be back!

We have stayed at 4 other Cancun resorts including Excellence and the new one Impressions and this was by far our favorite of them all!! Great food, great gym classes and extra classes like pottery and painting. Wendy at the coffee shop was phenomenal. ARTURO the fitness coach was so fun and honestly elevated our gym sessions. I’m not huge into classes but I looked forward to every class that was led by him. Alberto and Alejandro at the bar were great. Samantha at Takeshi made us feel extra special, even when we were just walking by back to our room she always waved and wished us a goodnight. Luis and Daniel at Alba made our trip extra memorable, on our last day they all took a ginger shot with us and wished us a safe flight back. But my absolute favorite staff member was Bonifilio. He was the chef at the fruit bar during breakfast. Every morning we would walk over after the gym and the mango/papaya bowl would be empty. Upon asking him for extra he made it a task to make each bowl everyday more and more special! On my last day I came up and he asked if I wanted my usual which I did, he went to grab a fruit then knelt down and brought out a masterpiece from the fridge. Most beautiful fruit bowl of them all! I couldn’t recommend this place enough. They do hit you with an inspira speech but if you shoot down the idea right away they won’t keep bugging you.

Our first room smelled like sewage and the smell burned eyes. Never heard back from front desk so had to walk all the way back to lobby and wait for an answer after 2 hours. They apologize for the wait and room. So Our Room was upgraded and we moved into another one. It was beautiful at first then wr woke up on the next day the roof of bathroom room was pouring water and the outside hallway was floodin. We called front desk in a panic and They asked if it was urgent, lol. We used all the towels to cover the bathroom floor called twice and no one came. I opened the door and caught a maintenence man going to another room to help someone else and i told him we urgently needed help. He didn't understand english well. They finallyturned something off in the building and the pouring went to a small drip to nothing. We waited for 4hours for someone to come clean and mop up the floors so we could go about our day. Someone finally came after we gave up and decided to leave and get something to eat without being able to shower and use the bathroom. No apologies or anything or the horrible experience for my bday trip. Very upset over the service, hospitality, and building safety

This resort was a letdown in many ways. Every morning at 9 a.m., the front desk called to promote activities — even when I was sleeping. Housekeeping would leave the door wide open while cleaning, letting mosquitoes in. I got bitten multiple times. The room had poor soundproofing; I could hear staff talking and construction noise daily. Service was inconsistent. Some staff were polite, but others were cold or indifferent. I saw people smoking by the pool and no one enforced any rules. I requested a mini bar refill, but it wasn’t done until the last day — completely unacceptable. Food was mostly disappointing. All dinner restaurants require reservations, yet tables often sat empty. At El Suspiro, the squid was burnt and the lobster was dry. Desserts were overly sweet. On the surface, Atelier looks like a 5 star resort, especially with the pools and beautiful lobby. However, if you look a little closer, you start to notice things that take away from the experience of a luxury resort. Our first room was essentially not cleaned (stains everywhere on the tables, light switches, telephone); the bathtub had makeup stains and soap scum. And the toiletry amenities they offered were the bare minimum (towels, one vanity kit, hand soap and lotion). But you had to request for anything else, like a comb, qtips, toothpaste etc.) When we moved to a different room, the shower drain was clogged; the phone was broken; the juices in the fridge were expired. However, these issues alone weren’t the problem. There seemed to be a communication problem amongst the different departments. What one department tells me never gets relayed to other relevant departments. For example, when we requested to switch rooms, it took hours and continuous followups with the staff to complete the request. I spent the first two days reaching out to staff, waiting on them to resolve the issues with our room, and following up with them to see when the room change would occur. There were other minor issues. A room service staff broke a bottle of sauce right in front of our door, but didn’t bother to clean up the glass shards. One server was particularly rude. In general, this was not the experience I expected of a luxury resort Atelier claims to be.

The room was clean and very well maintained. Always stocked with snacks and drinks of different varieties . The staff was very pleasant and friendly. The variety of restaurants is a big plus. The WiFi was always very strong and stable throughout the whole resort. Definitely one of the best resorts in Mexico.

We love Atelier! This is our 4th stay with them and we have never been disappointed! The staff is top notch and the food is excellent! Rooms are super clean and stocked with everything you need. We already miss it and can’t wait to be back. No need to leave the property for anything!

It’s fine. I wouldn’t say it’s as amazing as all the reviews say. Food and amenities on par with what you would expect at this level. Hotel is in need of some updating as property and rooms have a decent amount of wear and tear visible. Service was ok could improve their attention to detail such ensuring the correct names used for the happy anniversary message.

Beautiful property. Don’t be stuck in building 3 across from the nightclub. Very loud music till 3am. You won’t be able to sleep. Rooms have same views whether partial or ocean view.

1. Our toilet broke three times. Each time a person would come fix it, it would break again. I had to remind the front desk to send someone after they said they would, and they occasionally did not. 2. The thermostat broke twice. Two nights were too warm as a result. My wife is pregnant and this was not convenient at all. Again, I would have to remind the front desk to send someone after telling me they would. Sometimes, the issue would need to wait until the next day. 3. Bees swarmed the exterior door, stinging me three times when trying to enter the room. I’m very lucky that I am not allergic to bees. Nonetheless, this was incredibly painful. We don’t keep food out, so this was unrelated to what was on the inside of the door. 4. The concierge / front desk staff did not seem interested in making any of this right despite superficial words of sympathy. They initially offered to send a sole bottle of sparkling to the room (FOR MY PREGNANT WIFE), at an all-inclusive where the alcohol is … already paid for. Thanks Atelier! 5. They insisted on only discussed further measures at check out when they knew I’d be in a rush to leave. In the end, their final offer to make it right was to pay for our visit to the spa one morning. This is not enough. The week was stressful due to the constant issues and required chasing / follow ups for both maintenance and information. 6. Per the above, they sent a clear message that client satisfaction is not a priority. I am so disappointed.

The concierge / front desk staff did not seem interested in making any of this right despite superficial words of sympathy. They initially offered to send a sole bottle of sparkling to the room (FOR MY PREGNANT WIFE), at an all-inclusive where the alcohol is … already paid for. Thanks Atelier! 5. They insisted on only discussed further measures at check out when they knew I’d be in a rush to leave. In the end, their final offer to make it right was to pay for our visit to the spa one morning. This is not enough. The week was stressful due to the constant issues and required chasing / follow ups for both maintenance and information. 6. Per the above, they sent a clear message that client satisfaction is not a priority. I am so disappointed.

The restaurants require reservations so the first night since we didnt have reservations we did room service. The food was ok, but would not and did not order again. The Italian restaurant was amazing and if you can sit outside the view is unbeatable! We also tried the Asian and Japanese restaurants ans they both were good as well. The cabanas at the beach are first come first serve, but we always found one available when we wanted it. I recommend the resort. We did the upgraded option, so i am not sure what comes with different levels.

As always, the staff, the pools, the public areas of the resort are absolutely beautiful. Our waiters, Donovan, Christian, Marco are a few of the many great service people who remember you even when they see you outside of setting where they waited on you. Always feel welcome and a part of the family when there. My one complaint is the reservation system for restaurants. This was our 3rd visit and at same time of year and we have never had such difficulty getting reservations. Because we received help from the concierge, we got to eat where we wanted but we should not have had to go through the concierge. In years past we have been able to use the system without difficulty. We heard from multiple folks that they also were frustrated. Also, the consistency of the meal prep needs to be addressed. Some nights great, the same meal the next night was poor. Usually because of poor seasoning, overcooking and even undercooking. We love this place but the food is one of the reasons the Atelier gets such high marks and it needs to be improved.

The very best experience from arrival to my departure. I spent my birthday at Atelier Resort, and I had the most incredible time. The resort in itself is breathtaking... The staff members are superb - attentive and extremely professional. What an oasis! Every single area on the property was immaculate, clean, well manicured, and pristine. The restaurants --- amazing. The Maria Delores Michelin restaurant was every bit of spectacular - the food options were unique and delicious. The rooms are just a superb. Everyday was special because of the attentiveness of the staff. You feel like you're the only one that the staff is taking care of... so amazing. Atelier is my new favorite 5 star resort in Cancun, Mexico!

Staff was hit or miss. On check in the service was poor ( and we checked in at 4PM, not at a night hour), my partner and I had no idea where the amenities/restaurants were on the resort. The resort is fairly large and we spend the entire first day walking around trying to figure out what was what, where was where etc. Only on the second day did someone come to the room to let us know where we could find amenities. Pool side staff was also hit or miss. Some servers were fantastic, some were borderline rude. Hosts at restaurants were rude - if you did not have a reservation, even if the restaurant was empty, they would turn you away. There were also many racoons on the property - when people left their room service out overnight, raccoons would roam the hallways.. not expected of a 5* resort.

Overall, great hotel amenities and food. The rooms were spacious with a lot of food choices and delicious food. The two stars knocked off is due to the experience our group got from the staff. We felt extremely discriminated due to our race. One of the cafe visits, I asked for an extra espresso shot for one of my drinks and the cafe worker rolled her eyes and sighed at me!! I did not see her doing that to other customers. One other time was during breakfast, we got seated first amongst the tables around us and we were never asked for drink choices while every other table around us had drinks on the table. I had to literally chase them down to even just get water. For being 5 star hotel, I expected better service. I do not book nice hotels to be discriminated just for being the ethnicity I am. Terribly disappointed.

Best inclusive resort in Cancun. The resort is absolutely beautiful and most importantly, safe. This is my third time in Cancun, twice we stayed at the hotel zone and this time we wanted to try something different. Playa mujeres beaches are so much better, barely any seaweed, cleaner and safer. Since it’s private, you don’t have people trying to sell you souvenirs, drugs, while trying to relax on the beach. Lastly, the restaurants are top-notch! Every single restaurant was excellent and there are plenty of options, for vegans too! I would definitely be back!

The property is beautiful. It is isolated though. It’s 30 minutes from hotel zone. You will walk a lot the resort is in 3 buildings. If you go stay in buildings2 it’s the closest to pool and the beach. Most restaurants are in building 2 and building 1. Food was good in restaurants. You do need to make reservations. We went to the app at 7 am to get reservations for the evening. I would recommend booking steak house or the seafood restaurant in building 2 every night and forget everything else. Skip the time share breakfast. Don’t expect a big buffet at night it was very unappealing and lacking choices and it’s in Building 3. Dinner at El Mercado is a pass room service would be a better choice. Wine is an upgrade which is at dinner. Which is strange since there is wine in the room. Not much entertainment at night. The mixology bar was great. Not much going ot the pools during the day service is ok. Food at pools was really good. Room is very nice views were very nice looking at ocean. We might go back know what to expect. I do think there are better values in Cancun.

The resort was pure luxury, the food was absolutely incredible, and I can’t say enough good things about the staff they were attentive, professional, and truly went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. I’ve been to Cancún three times, and this was by far my best experience. Choosing to stay outside the Zona Hotelera was the right call everything about this trip felt more authentic and peaceful. We had a gluten free diet restriction and dairy free allergy in our travel group. Both felt completely safe and felt wonderful the entire time! The service was excellent! However, the food at the Tekashi castles and the buffet breakfast was disappointing. The pancakes and waffles lacked flavour, and the coffee was quite unsatisfactory. Even the Mongolian and Korean beef tasted similar. The entertainment was rather dull, but an 80s band played at the club on our last night, which was a pleasant change. Having live entertainment at restaurants or clubs could really boost the atmosphere. Overall, the hotel was fantastic.

I've just returned from my vacation at ATELIER celebrating my sister's 40th birthday and am still in awe of how incredible the resort is. Every detail was well thought through, the rooms and amenities were incredible, but I must say the people working there were the best part and really went above and beyond to make our stay exceed all of our expectations. Some of the standouts: - Aristeo who served us all day every day at the pool. He's incredibly kind and hardworking all day out in the sun with a smile on his face. He was what we looked most forward to every day! - Our server, Carlos, the head chef Luis, manager Miguel at Casa di Luna. This ended up being our fave restaurant (the lamb are fried milk are a must try!) - not only for the delicious food, but for the incredible attention to detail to take care in preparing our meals keeping in mind several food allergies. - Armando (Kopai) and Roman (Maria Dolores) were also incredible servers who were incredibly kind and had great attention to detail re: food allergies. - We loved the art workshops with Tabatha and the pilates classes with Arturo / Sara (they are tough!). The morning stretching at El Cielo are a must! All of the restaurants served super delicious food and were very accommodating re: allergies. We didn't have any issues all week. The gym was great and fully stocked. Overall, highly recommend ATELIER and we will most certainly be back!

Wonderful staff; food was also excellent. Amenities were also great. Only thing subpar was the beach and the seaweed on the beach. Drink and food service at the pool and beach was wonderful as well; staff were very attentive and timely.

The staff are sooo welcoming and friendly, they just want to make sure you’re having the best experience so I love the fact that they always check in on you. The food is absolutely amazing and so much variety to choose from. The rooms are so clean and comfy. Everything is super thought through and detailed oriented at this resort. I would stay here again!
