Great dining options, the property was really nice, the rooms especially. One downside was there was only 1 hot tub on the property and the two pools were on the opposite sides. I would have preferred if they had more hot tubs/pools.

All inclusive, massive, beautiful grounds. Spacious, clean suites. More dining options than we could visit. Fun activities and events. Excellent gym. Service and friendliness from all staff was top notch. Didn't use the spa or golf course but looked good. Could use a tennis or basketball court.

Absolutely incredible resort with the kindest staff. Amazing food, spectacular pools — especially the Inspira infinity pool on the roof — totally worth getting an Inspira room in my opinion for that pool alone. I will be going back!

Atelier is beautiful and well- maintained. The staff is friendly and focused on customer service. The beach is private... there are no merchants wandering in to sell you something. There are multiple restaraunts with food choices across a wide spectrum.. I recommend this place highly

The pool was excessively hot, and the service was satisfactory. While the potential was great, I was left a bit disappointed by the pool water being way too warm. Considering it’s an expensive resort, they should have installed chillers.

This is an absolutely beautiful resort. Be prepared for mosquitoes in Mexico! But they supply spray. The resort is well cared for and the staff are amazing. Everyone was friendly and quick to assist use and make the most positive experience. I would definitely recommend Atelier

This resort was amazing when we first arrived we were greeted with a cold towel and drinks. The resort was sooo CLEAN, food was awesome, the staff was very very helpful. Normally when you see resort pictures they are not the same when you get there. But at Atelier Playa Mujeres the pictures online are actually the same when you get there but better. Thank you so much for being a true 5 star resort.

On the surface, Atelier looks like a 5 star resort, especially with the pools and beautiful lobby. However, if you look a little closer, you start to notice things that take away from the experience of a luxury resort. Our first room was essentially not cleaned (stains everywhere on the tables, light switches, telephone); the bathtub had makeup stains and soap scum. And the toiletry amenities they offered were the bare minimum (towels, one vanity kit, hand soap and lotion). But you had to request for anything else, like a comb, qtips, toothpaste etc.) When we moved to a different room, the shower drain was clogged; the phone was broken; the juices in the fridge were expired. However, these issues alone weren’t the problem. There seemed to be a communication problem amongst the different departments. What one department tells me never gets relayed to other relevant departments. For example, when we requested to switch rooms, it took hours and continuous followups with the staff to complete the request. I spent the first two days reaching out to staff, waiting on them to resolve the issues with our room, and following up with them to see when the room change would occur. There were other minor issues. A room service staff broke a bottle of sauce right in front of our door, but didn’t bother to clean up the glass shards. One server was particularly rude. In general, this was not the experience I expected of a luxury resort Atelier claims to be.

Overall an average experience. Food is good, nice pools and beach, awesome bar, mixologist(salute to Irvin), right amount of things to do for 5 nights. What lowers the rating in my mind: 1). building 2 is VERY noise especially in the morning. I can hear ppl above me flushing toilet then wash hand, ac making a noise on certain fan speed, cleaning lady dragging chairs next door at 8 in the morning, ppl talking loudly in the hallway although it's supposed to be a quiet zone, etc; 2). The waiter in some restaurants are super proud and mean, treating you like it's a privilege to dine at their restaurant, literally feels like they are educating you. Same thing happens to some bellman and concierge staff. Don't get me wrong, most of them are doing a wonderful job, just a couple of them are enough to ruin your day; 3). room is not that clean. You can easily find watermark under the mirror and in the tub. Room cleaning is inconsistent and not standardized. Some days they do a perfect job that they even fold every piece of your cloth, but some days the just come in redo the bed and take the tip. They put different kind of and different amount of towels randomly anywhere. Bottled water are not refilled even they see there's only few left. It looks like it totally depends on the cleaning staff's mood. All these might sounds like nitpicks but if Atelier is treating themselves as a 5 star hotel, they should put more efforts on educating their employees and set standards.

Everything was perfect. They cleaned everyday, sometimes multiple times, every single employee always greeted us kindly even the people fixing up the place, the food was top notch and I won’t go anywhere else in Mexico now!

Very clean and beautiful

Our first room smelled like sewage and the smell burned eyes. Never heard back from front desk so had to walk all the way back to lobby and wait for an answer after 2 hours. They apologize for the wait and room. So Our Room was upgraded and we moved into another one. It was beautiful at first then wr woke up on the next day the roof of bathroom room was pouring water and the outside hallway was floodin. We called front desk in a panic and They asked if it was urgent, lol. We used all the towels to cover the bathroom floor called twice and no one came. I opened the door and caught a maintenence man going to another room to help someone else and i told him we urgently needed help. He didn't understand english well. They finallyturned something off in the building and the pouring went to a small drip to nothing. We waited for 4hours for someone to come clean and mop up the floors so we could go about our day. Someone finally came after we gave up and decided to leave and get something to eat without being able to shower and use the bathroom. No apologies or anything or the horrible experience for my bday trip. Very upset over the service, hospitality, and building safety

Beautiful property. Don’t be stuck in building 3 across from the nightclub. Very loud music till 3am. You won’t be able to sleep. Rooms have same views whether partial or ocean view.

The resort was beautiful! The food was great. Our butlers were very attentive! The only draw back was the resort was huge it required extensive walking!

The hotel room is great.

The room was clean and very well maintained. Always stocked with snacks and drinks of different varieties . The staff was very pleasant and friendly. The variety of restaurants is a big plus. The WiFi was always very strong and stable throughout the whole resort. Definitely one of the best resorts in Mexico.

The hotel was excellent and the only reason they are not getting 5 stars is because of an issue with the TV. The local stations are all in spanish which I would assume. However, the TV's are old so you have no options to remotely connect to netflix or any.other options. Both the butlers we had were great and tried to fix it with no luck. The restaurants require reservations so the first night since we didnt have reservations we did room service. The food was ok, but would not and did not order again. The Italian restaurant was amazing and if you can sit outside the view is unbeatable! We also tried the Asian and Japanese restaurants ans they both were good as well. The cabanas at the beach are first come first serve, but we always found one available when we wanted it. I recommend the resort. We did the upgraded option, so i am not sure what comes with different levels.

Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had an amazing swim out pool. The bed? Like sleeping on a cloud! The amenities were just as impressive, from the relaxing pool area to the spa services and on-site restaurants, everything was thoughtfully curated to create a luxurious yet comfortable vibe. Every meal we had was delicious, with fresh ingredients and great variety. What really stood out, though, was the attention to detail and the level of service. Whether we needed recommendations, room service, or help with bookings, the team was always ready with a smile and a solution. We’ll absolutely be coming back, and recommending this place to all our friends and family. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

The facility is really nice and modern. It was built in 2019. There are so many dining options and the food is delicious. The staff is kind and friendly. At night the area is quiet and tranquil.

Heads up to those of you thinking about booking this hotel: “Ocean View Suite” does NOT have ocean view!! You can only see the ocean when you stick out your head from the window. Front desk staff has a terrible attitude, refuses to provide any solution. In fact, the whole service STOPS the night before checkout. Will NEVER come back to this hotel

Always feel welcome and a part of the family when there. My one complaint is the reservation system for restaurants. This was our 3rd visit and at same time of year and we have never had such difficulty getting reservations. Because we received help from the concierge, we got to eat where we wanted but we should not have had to go through the concierge. In years past we have been able to use the system without difficulty. We heard from multiple folks that they also were frustrated. Also, the consistency of the meal prep needs to be addressed. Some nights great, the same meal the next night was poor. Usually because of poor seasoning, overcooking and even undercooking. We love this place but the food is one of the reasons the Atelier gets such high marks and it needs to be improved.

Read 1 star ratings on Google which is on par with those comments. The hotel itself is nice with good architecture and location, but service quality is extremely poor. At check in, worker didn’t even give the layout or intro of the resort. Swim up bar service was terrible. The wait to order took way too long for the amount of people. Swimming pool and jacuzzi closed early. Workers were always eager to shut everything down at closing hour at the restaurants and bars. Workers seemed so disinterested to be there.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Firstly - it’s very difficult to get dinner reservations here. We called in advance and they kept telling us everything is full. They had a lot of attitude and did nothing to make up for it. My room flooded and I fell - they yelled at me. Then the power fuse in my room blew and they again, took 1 hours

Loved everything, just felt the need of a map at the beginning and a better knowledge on how to book the dinings as they were fully booked by the time we figured how to. A better explanation on how things works and where they were should have been provided at check in.

Overall we had an outstanding stay. The only issue I had was the overbearing sales pitch for time shares. They wouldn’t take no for an answer. And that pressure was just to book a session, not to buy a time share.

Overall, great hotel amenities and food. The rooms were spacious with a lot of food choices and delicious food. The two stars knocked off is due to the experience our group got from the staff. We felt extremely discriminated due to our race. One of the cafe visits, I asked for an extra espresso shot for one of my drinks and the cafe worker rolled her eyes and sighed at me!! I did not see her doing that to other customers. One other time was during breakfast, we got seated first amongst the tables around us and we were never asked for drink choices while every other table around us had drinks on the table. I had to literally chase them down to even just get water. For being 5 star hotel, I expected better service. I do not book nice hotels to be discriminated just for being the ethnicity I am. Terribly disappointed.

Great property, good staff, and great food for an all-inclusive. That said, the concierge team was not helpful and created stressful situations for us. One member offered to help us book dinner reservations, but failed to do so, so when we went to the restaurant for dinner we ended up waiting an hour to sit. In addition, they were to help with our car back to the airport and confirmed that a time change occurred... Day of, however, that wasn't the case and we were left waiting and wondering if our transfer was coming... Very stressful.

Had an amazing stay at Atelier Playa mujeres! The staff is exceptional. Definitely choose the Inspira package, you’ll want to spend time at the rooftop pool. From the moment you get picked up from the airport you have nothing to worry about. The staff takes care of everything for you and really allow you to enjoy your get away. Great option for couples. They make it a really special experience. If possible to request your butler, choose Jorge! He really goes above and beyond and does everything in his power to fulfill any requests you have. Very attentive! The property is beautiful, the food was enjoyable and make sure to get a reservation at Maria Dolores, it’s truly a special experience! Extremely clean as well, the room service staff does a great job.

Property was upscale and beautiful. Loved the rooms and the food was wonderful. Everything was new and kept up. Beach was gorgeous. Only complaint was how spread out the property was.

Best inclusive resort in Cancun. The resort is absolutely beautiful and most importantly, safe. This is my third time in Cancun, twice we stayed at the hotel zone and this time we wanted to try something different. Playa mujeres beaches are so much better, barely any seaweed, cleaner and safer. Since it’s private, you don’t have people trying to sell you souvenirs, drugs, while trying to relax on the beach. Lastly, the restaurants are top-notch! Every single restaurant was excellent and there are plenty of options, for vegans too! I would definitely be back!

The property is beautiful. It is isolated though. It’s 30 minutes from hotel zone. You will walk a lot the resort is in 3 buildings. If you go stay in buildings2 it’s the closest to pool and the beach. Most restaurants are in building 2 and building 1. Food was good in restaurants. You do need to make reservations. We went to the app at 7 am to get reservations for the evening. I would recommend booking steak house or the seafood restaurant in building 2 every night and forget everything else. Skip the time share breakfast. Don’t expect a big buffet at night it was very unappealing and lacking choices and it’s in Building 3. Dinner at El Mercado is a pass room service would be a better choice. Wine is an upgrade which is at dinner. Which is strange since there is wine in the room. Not much entertainment at night. The mixology bar was great. Not much going ot the pools during the day service is ok. Food at pools was really good. Room is very nice views were very nice looking at ocean. We might go back know what to expect. I do think there are better values in Cancun.

We had an amazing experience since the beginning of the trip. Everything was clean and the workers were respectful. Only giving 4 stars because the wife got food poisoning after eating at the sea food spot. This is a great location for vacation. Thank you Atelier

The resort was absolutely amazing! So beautiful and relaxing. This resort was so amazing and super serious with any and all allergies. We had a gluten free diet restriction and dairy free allergy in our travel group. Both felt completely safe and felt wonderful the entire time! It was so impressive and so comforting to travel someone and not have to worry about a food reaction. Not to mention, the food and drinks were amazing! Definitely will be traveling back!

I'd call this a 5++ resort experience. Food, drinks and staff all exceptional. Super focused on customer service. Offered both party atmosphere, or quiet and low key for those looking for a relaxing experience.

The service was excellent! However, the food at the Tekashi castles and the buffet breakfast was disappointing. The pancakes and waffles lacked flavour, and the coffee was quite unsatisfactory. Even the Mongolian and Korean beef tasted similar. The entertainment was rather dull, but an 80s band played at the club on our last night, which was a pleasant change. Having live entertainment at restaurants or clubs could really boost the atmosphere. Overall, the hotel was fantastic.

We really enjoyed the food options. Loved Maria Dolores. Took our waiters reccomendations and the food was excellent (My husband is a retired Chef) It is a must! We also opted for a chef's dinner at Cilento, we purchased wine and the chef created a special menu for us. Amazing. Thank you Artoro, Chef Israel, Andreas and Octevi! We opted for an Inspira room a swim out. Our butlers Leyner and Carlos looked after us daily. We enjoyed the relaxing pool and our time in a cabana at the beach. The water is swimable. Our favorite waiter was Alberto who always remembered our orders. The relaxing pool was quiet except for one day where they booked a private party - thankfully we planned that as one of our beach days. The concierge helped us get into our room one evening when we both forgot our bracelets. La Consentida was our place for breakfast. The waiters were excellent and even the hostess remembered our name. Food was excellent. Lots of variety as well. My husband, a cyclist, joined in a morning of cycling. The tour was informative. We'll take his cycling gear next time. The resort is very walkable and there are golf carts that will transport those with mobility issues. Can't wait to return next year!
