Good value for money option, clean and comfortable bed and room, a little older but still good. Its connected to the Garden Inn and Suites which has a lovley pool and citrus gardens. Breakfast was great with good choices.

Terrible, my key stopped working more than once during my trip. The internet stopped working, the cable coming out of the wall was broken and when I went to talk to the clerk about it they blamed me! Said I’d be responsible for the damages that I had nothing to do with. Hotel is fenced off and you have to enter from the location next door. Would NOT stay here again.

Run down appearance, gates locked so no parking by the room, very poor flight of stairs to the room. We had asked for ground level but none were available. 81 yo husband had to carry stuff up steep stairs. Carpet was filthy (I can provide pictures), chairs were stained, bathtub was very narrow so shower curtain kept getting in the way, shower head was only chest high. Electrical outlets in sink area didn’t work and hair dryer didn’t work. Only one other outlet in the room available to plug things in. Most horrible place we have ever stayed. Cannot understand the 10 ratings.

There's two connecting hotels.. one is budget friendly, while the other is a little bit more pricier.. same pool & complimentary breakfast access.. However; The Garden Inn looks more like condos than a hotel.. Great breakfast selection & extremely quite.. Top Tier

They were helpful in the booking process but it kind of ended there. Great location w the below ground gardens across the street. After I checked in I couldn’t get to my room. Waited half hour for someone to open the gate to parking lot. Never showed. I opened it myself. Manual gate. Shower head sprayed everywhere but in tub. Hilarious sink worked the same way.

Formosa Inn is connected to a newer property with Formosa being the more economical. I was impressed by the pool area and the landscaping. It was a very peaceful and pleasant experience staying there.

Although I didn't like the area, I felt safe there, and I seem to remember them having a security guard. Also, you have to drive through an entry to access the property, which means less exposure to outside elements. The property was very clean. The room was spacious. The toilet had a bidet on top. Nice pool. I would return. It's a good option for low budget and passing through on travels.

The cleanliness was terrible. I had to clean the AC filters so the room would get cool. Outdated 80's bedroom furniture lamps and decor was dusty. The motel is a sister property to what looks like a more up to date motel and thats where you check in. The Formosa looks abandoned when you pull into parking lot. Their courtyard is abysmal with dead plants broken planters and cigarette butts everywhere. The only positive was there were multiple stores and restaurants very near. Definitely the 2nd worst hotel I've ever stayed in. NO NO NO

Spills on carpets. Stains on bedding and furniture, secure lock on door was broken, no body wash/decent soap for shower/sink or conditioner. Had to go buy some for the stay. Roaches outside the room which could have easily entered our room due to there not being a seal at the bottom of the door. We “slept” with the light on and layed on top of the bedding in our day clothes to try and just get some rest before leaving early as possible the next morning to get out of there.

Dirty, bugs, didn’t even have toilet paper in the first room. Front desk was rude and unprofessional. I have never had a worse stay. Spend the extra 10 dollars and stay anywhere else than this dump. Should be condemned

It's actually a decent place for two star hotel it was pretty clean-ish but the door doesn't lock there's no Wi-Fi at all no signal. Desk clerk try to make up some BS excuse but they obviously know that there's no internet coming out to these further rooms and they just haven't fixed it so yeah I'd rate it do not book a hotel room here go anywhere else

I tried to point these issues out to the young guy at reception but he brushed me off with a @dont worry about it.” This hotel adjoins a slightly better one with the same owners and it’s clear they don’t care about the Formosa. For a lesser price I could have stayed at a Motel 6 with slightly better rooms but slightly worse neighbors. This is also a VERY noisy area with a busy train crossing and lots of construction. As I said, for the price it was just ok but you can do a lot better.

Stayed here many times before. Hotel services has gone downhill since change of management staff. They have a new cleaning crew name Isabel she would constantly come to room complaining about her salary there and kept asking for tip, making stay very unpleasant. Daily pressure of her discussions about salary & talking bad about the hotel made it extremely uncomfortable for me to continue staying there any longer. Other guests shared the same & so I shared it with the manager Henry on day of check out.

Management staff has change, Jackson is no longer there but the front desk service is still polite & friendly Breakfast has gone downhill, frozen boiled eggs everyday. REASON why I would never come back to this hotel is the worker ISABEL(cleaner), daily negative talk abt her salary & her workers & how much she hates working there. Also she constantly ask for a tip & provide us with envelope when she doesn’t even clean our rooms. I shared with manager that the stay was making me very uncomfortable because of Isabel constant pressure & negative feed about Formosa Inn. He also received feedback from others that same week & advised us he was aware of it, that she’s new, a family of the other cleaner, & would address it. For a small hotel that had wonderful front office service, 1 employee changed all the ambiance & made the stay super stressful. So unfortunate.!

It was a easy check in, the girl at the front desk was nice. The room was a good size, it was clean. I forgot my lotion so it was nice they had lotion available in the room. It was also in a good location, close to restaurants.

This is a unique property in that it is connected to another property called Garden Inn or something like that. Check in at GI next door. The Motel is older but adequate and clean. I Cammy speak to breakfast as I had to leave very early.

The room was clean, though the bed was a little firmer then we are used too, but it worked. The front desk was Friendly, thebreakfast was your standard fare, waffles, cereals, yogurt. If going to Fresno again, would stay there again.
