I chose this hotel for the pool and jacuzzi and they were both verry cold and when we went down to get ice there was none and there was a hole above the AC unit that we could see right outside we had to plug it with a washcloth the screens were all ripped so we could not open the window even if we wanted to so i would never go back to super 8 in hayward WI again

UNSAFE! Non-working deadbolt and peephole was not installed - a piece of paper towel was jammed in the hole. This alone should be enough but there's more. Mold in HVAC, mildew (or worse) completely around toilet. No hot water one night. Quiet hours not enforced even after 3 calls to the front desk. Noise still gong at midnight. Cold pool. Lukewarm hot tub. Microwave not working at breakfast. How water in the dispenser was filled from the hot water tap so it was not actually hot. Breakfast selection was a joke - Ho-Hos for breakfast - I'm not making that up. I've stayed in some sketchy places, especially when I was younger and poorer. This was top 3 worst hotels in 60 years.

I liked that it was very clean. I also loved that there wasn't carpet. The laminate flooring was very nice. However, there were a lot of poorly patched holes in the walls, the internet kept disconnecting, the shower curtain rod was almost ripped out of the wall, and the pool was FREEZING cold. The water in the pool looked thick, like maybe more chemicals than necessary where in it. I am not sure, but I wouldn't even consider getting in and my son couldn't handle being in the water for two minutes and that is saying a lot because he is one to jump in a lake as soon as possible after the winter thaw.

Very nice staff! Parth and Nancy were warm and welcoming. Hot tub was honestly filthy and there were bottle caps and soap wrappers and a shampoo container by the tub. It was fairly cool. The beds were real flimsy and even compared with other Super 8s completely subpar.

When did hotels go away from carpet in the rooms? With an energetic 3 year old boy, enjoy hotel rooms are the stuff of nightmares. We attempted to pool but it was colder than The lake we were in earlier in the day. Breakfast left few options for kids to drink and was little Debbie snacks

The pool and hot tub were closed. We did not find that out until after we arrived to check in. There was no discount for a non functional pool and hot tub. Otherwise everything else at this facility was good.

This was by far the grossest place I've ever stayed in and nothing worked. No breakfast (which they advertise is available), no working ice machine, no working fridge in the room, no working coffee maker in the room. Layers of stains and hairs on each level of the bedding including pillowcases. I slept in my hoodie on top of the bedding.

The staff were very friendly and kind, but the rooms were very dirty. My feet were black after walking on the floor. The towels had mascara and other stains on them. Lots of dust and grime on every surface. The curtains were broken. Lots of dust. Worst of all lots of sweat stains, a red stain, and dirt on bed. Made me wonder if the sheets were cleaned at all. We were only here one night and I was so excited to leave. I didn’t even wanna shower because it was so disgusting.

For the price we paid the room was not worth it. I noticed immediately that the floors had not been mopped as there was leftover dirt and shoe marks on it. There was a used bar of soap on the sink and hair in the tub and counter. The room had been renovated, however, the trim was haphazardly painted. The headboard was supposed to light up and it did not. In fact, there was only 2 working outlets and that was for the ac and the other was for the tv. The bedding was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.

Upon check in front desk gal was on her cell phone during the entire check in process. There was a sign on the pool stating closed so we asked about it and they said it’s not closed. They said it would take a couple of hours to heat the hot tub up if we wanted to use it. The sign was removed the next day so we felt the water in the hot tub and it wasn’t even close to hot tub temp, it was Luke warm at best. Room was nice, but bed very firm, pillows super flat. The plug on the head board on one side didn’t work as the wire was hanging out with the wires exposed with no caps on the ends.

The room was absolutely terrible. I booked a room at the hotel and was given a room at the rundown motel next to it. The doors had been kicked in at some point and then “fixed”. There was a piece of wood put in there to make the door close. You can see the outside from around the door frame. One of the rooms did not have a deadbolt that worked and a space heater for heat. When I asked for another room it was just as bad. And the room that we didn’t stay in was just given to someone else. They said they were fully booked, and those rooms should never have been rented. They overbooked and gave unsafe rooms to guests.

The person at the front desk was very kind; however, after walking into my room, that had been recently remodeled, I picked up my stuff, returned my key and found lodging in another place. The windows did not have locks on them. Being on the first floor this was not something I was willing to try and ignore. The side lock was pulled out of the door and not replaced. While the lock on the doorknob seemed to work, I was not willing to try and ignore it. I was offered a "different room" but was not going to try another room. The entire hotel appeared to be run down and not safe. The 100.00 I paid for the room was not returned because it was a "no cancellation" room. And honestly, I am okay with that.

Toilet had not been cleaned at all. Bed was hard as a rock. The drug sales in the adjoining room were booming all night til 3am due to no secure entry. At least 20 visitors to the room throughout the night all staying about a minute and slamming the door both ways. AC was loud. TV turned on but wouldn't play any actual channels. Coffee maker but no coffee cups in the room. The ice machine didn't work at all. Breakfast was waffle batter, brown grapes and mini muffins. Really couldn't have been worse.

My wife was so turned off by the room we didn't stay there. It was damp, the floors were slick, the bathtub was so worn it looked dirty - there was no stopper, it was chipped and rusted with mildew in the grout. When the door to the outside was closed, you could see daylight between the door and the door jam.

The room was a dump. The TV didn't work, there weren't even a chair to sit on or a place to hang your jacket. All in all this was the worst place we've ever stayed in. If I could report you to the police for hazardous false advertising I would. I think all your interested in is the money and not the safty of your guests. I have never felt so ripped off as I feel right now. This hotel shilud be investigsted by hotels.cim. I would like to get my money back. It was to late to look for another motel.

Beds and pillows are uncomfortable. Bathroom is tiny. Paint and bed headboard were installed incorrectly. HORRIBLE lighting with no dimmer available. Pull out couch/bed was a joke.(hot squeaky plastic upholstery which didn’t even level out to make a proper sleeping area). Pool was supposed to be heated but was freezing cold.

When I showed up all the rooms were booked and they said I wasn't even in the reservation system!! I'm now calling around trying to find a room during one of the busiest weeks of the year in Hayward WI. I'm not a happy camper.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This hotel is extremely poorly managed and has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. When I pulled in, it was poorly lit and obviously under construction with the manager’s family treating it like their personal living/dining room. It smelled like old food and smoke, and no one bothered to greet me. Then, when I managed to get someone’s attention, they told me my reservation was canceled. I informed them that was incorrect because I hadn’t received any communication stating the reservation was canceled and they basically told me that was my problem and to find another place to stay. Absolutely no effort to make any concessions or help on their part means I will NEVER stay here or encourage anyone else to stay here. They do not deserve our business! Luckily Expedia has great customer service and refunded me my whole amount. I’m glad I booked through them!

Very nice and helpful people. I stayed two nights. My schedule was uncertain so I wasn't sure l'd be back for the 2nd night and they graciously upgraded my room to one with a hot tub. If I need to go back to the area, I'll definitely stay here again.

No coffee maker. No vanity light. Refrigerator not working leaking water all over. TV not working. The staff was aware of ALL of these issues but put us in that room anyway saying “that is the room you booked. My boss is not here so I am unable to do anything for you.” Straight face. Not even an apology. I cried. First I called the desk. No answer. I had to walk over to the other building…and she says oh the issues with your room….she knew why I was calling! Purposely did not answer. Thank goodness it was one night and we got there late and left super early. We travel all over and will never ever stay at a Super 8 again. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. We were not in a main building. Our door went directly outside like a motel. It was just the worst experience I have ever had in my life for a stay. Please don’t read this and think oh it can’t be that bad. It WAS that bad. Please do not stay here. -1000 of 5 stars.

1) pool/hot tub were closed supposedly due to chlorine issue. 2) no coffee/breakfast/ice due to supposedly remodeling 3) room was intensely hot, no temperature control. Slept with air conditioner on. 4) Morning coffee in room must have been years old, tasted horrible 5) Shower in morning had no hot water 6) last, but not least, manager entered my room at 11:24PM while I was in bed sleeping

Hotel Sign was not lit, so we passed the property, had to turn around & almost missed it the second time. Slow check in. Some dark parking areas. Parking lot all dug up & crumbling. Nice size room. (Had an inside hallway room.). Both inside hallway & direct exit to the outside were available.

The area by it was good. The needles and baggies surrounding the property was a turn off. Our door looks like it was kicked in, windows had no screens. The whole place smelt like I was sitting in an ashtray. It was 90 degrees even with the heat off. Never will I ever stay at an amerivu again in my life.

The super eight recently went into new ownership. They were dealing with a lot of of issues that they had to work on. It was a good location. The rooms were so so. When turning on the air conditioning unit, there was a foul smell that came out. We were just staying for the one night so we dealt with it. We had reserved two separate rooms and we’re not able to get them together. It was OK for the short stay..

I arrived late and the property sign was not lit, so I drove past the hotel. The room itself was cheaply updated although the bed was comfortable, however the wall ventilation unit was noisy. The door jamb did not have a latch catch and the frame was missing a section of lumber. It seemed that a repair of the door frame was incomplete or in progress. The bathroom sink drain plug did not lift up so the water did not drain from the sink. The room switch next to the entry door did not turn on a room light, so I had to walk to the desk lamp in the dark to turn on the lamp for room light. Overpriced for the overall condition of the property with minimal amenities. Decent breakfast restaurant next door.

The room was dirty when we got there ! Trash was in trash can from earlier guests and the floor was so dirty made my socks turn black quick . The toilet was not cleaned had build up pee behind the seat o lol if . So pretty much it was gross for the amount I paid for 1 night .They don’t have any type of breakfast the guy checking me said cause they are renovating kitchen .. BUT THEY COULD OF STILL DID SOMETHING SIMPLE LIKE DONUTS.

Staff was very nice, remodeling going on. No free breakfast said they were transitioning so that was disappointing. Room has new vinyl floor which was nice but not finished under heat registers and not in bathroom. Toilet lid would not stay up as screws for it are too big. New cabinetry in room was nice. Bed was too firm for us.
