The staff and room very nice. To many steps and frequent power outages were problematic.

Great location to tour Rome Hotel was clean and was what we needed for our time in Rome. The hotel doesn’t offer amenities like a gym but is a great hotel to visit and be centrally located to attractions

Great location. Rooms are very nice and clean. Elevator very small and old fashioned. Definitely not a wheelchair hotel have to walk up steps to get to the elevator.

very comfortable bed and location was good. we were able to leave luggage and tour rome that was appreciated greatly. Lugging Cases up and down the stairs was hard.

Very nice hotel in a central location. Very clean and modern. Their emergency phone line did not work. And the hotel closes early at 10pm. Make sure you link up with them in advance if you plan on checking in after this time.

Stayed in the family room. Room is run down and bathrooms tiny. Could smell smoke in our room in the morning, it was suggested it was from nearby balconies or people smoking from the street. Lift was extremely old and tiny. Staff were very friendly and location is great, however I wouldn't choose to stay again.

Excellent location located close to the Pantheon and the Trevi fountain. Many restaurant and shops close by. Staff very helpful arranging transportation. Large selection of breakfast foods. There are stairs to get into the hotel and additional stairs to the rooms. There was an elevator to the upper floors but did not appear to be one to the reception area. We were told elevator was not working when we got there but appeared to have been fixed sometime during our stay. Each room is very different.

Great location that’s within a mile of the typical sites you’d want to see in Rome. Very friendly staff and daily room refreshes without having to ask. Nice breakfast options. There was no sign outside showing the hotel name, so just pay attention to the address and look for the 41 above the door so you know you’re at the right location. The only other thing that marks the location as Colonna Suite is a floor mat after entering the door.

Great room, but you have to use the stairs to be able to use the elevator.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were comfortable but a little dated. The area was perfect for walking to a lot of amazing sights and restaurants. The Trevi fountain was very close by as well. It was a little hard to find at first because the only signage is the front door mat. Great spot none the less, we’d stay again for convenience.

Hotel was in a great location, our room was mostly clean but the shower was absolutely disgusting with orange scum/slime stains. This can easily be wiped off and cleaned properly. I told the front desk and the lady shrugged it off with a vague response.

The room was very neglected. The painting was unfinished, Baseboards were not put on and some had water damage, the shower needs a lot of TLC (visible mold and gunk between the sliding door, overhead shower-head did not have any pressure. The air unit did not work (I understand the AC was turned off but the fan itself was not even working for airflow in the room. The evening front desk gentleman tried but was not successful in fixing it and said the service tech was not available until the morning (but we were checking out). The day time staff did not seem to care - it was more of an "Oh well" type of attitude. I was not impressed at all.

Mold. The bathroom smelled like mold and urine. There was mold on the ceiling where you sleep and mold in the shower all on the tiles and the ceiling. The bathroom literally smelled like a urinal. The hotel was not accommodating - they refused over and over to let me cancel early and did not accommodate with any other room. We wound up checking out a day early and losing money just to get my children away from the mold. expedia also tried 3x to help. The last straw was when I went back downstairs to see what was happening and that they were supposed to come and check the bathroom and they just wrote it off and said - it doesn't smell. Very unprofessional and not accommodating

Room smells bad (particularly after using the shower so maybe plumbing issues or mold), AC did not work, and not very clean. But it's located in a nice area close to a lot of attractions and food. The staff are also very nice

We reserved a basic room at the Colonna Suite del Corso. We did not realize that there were 2 different basic rooms. The first one displayed in the photos on the booking site appears to be superior to the two rooms. Size: The room we were given, the purple one in the photos, was extremely small. We estimate that it measures 8.5x10 feet not counting the bathroom. Amenities: The mini fridge was broken and we had to throw out the cheese and meat we had bought for a picnic because we didn't realize in time. There was no chair or mirror in the bedroom area for doing ones make-up. The shower cap, fresh towels each day and soap were nice touches as was having access to a snack bar (we did not buy anything). Bathroom: the shower was large with great water pressure. The best feature of the hotel, but very dark. Unfortunately the fan didn't work well so the bathroom became very steamy. Staff: the woman we met on arrival was very kind and sweet, as was the gentleman who called us as courtesy to inform us of an upcoming city wide public transportation shortage due to a Marathon. There was another woman who was a little less accommodating - when my partner requested to borrow a knife (for our picnic), she roughly informed him that eating in the room was against the rules. I have since reviewed the rules again and still find no such mention. Location: absolutely amazing, close to all major sights, public transportation and restaurants. Would not stay again.

Great location. We had two adjoining rooms. Rooms need some touch up paint on walls.Mattresses are hard as a rock and it made staying there very uncomfortable. Breakfast was mediocre. Unfortunately the wifi went out the day after we checked in and never got fixed for the rest of the time we stayed there. This cost us money on our phone plan. Housekeeping did an excellent job.

Centrally located hotel, nice large rooms and bathrooms. Great value for the price

Room was clean but very worn. Bed was hard. For being so close to the piazzas and Trevi, it was very quiet.

Street noise made sleep restless. Everything else was perfect

The lobby was not the nicest but the staff was excellent. When we reached our rooms, they were beautiful! They were modern and very spacious. We were so very pleased and wished we could stay longer.

Room was nice but was surprised that the bed was ROUND! Not the right shape for my wife and I but we made it work. Free breakfast was great - many selections all were excellent. Overall a nice hotel.

I definitely got catfished by this property. My “deluxe” room looked absolutely nothing like the pictures & there was nothing deluxe about it. It was a tiny crammed in room. I was looking forward to having a jacuzzi tub to relax in only to get into the room and there was just a shower. I asked the staff if there was any way we could pay more to upgrade to a more pleasant room and they were not helpful at all saying that everything was booked up, meanwhile when I looked up the rooms online there was still some availability. The WiFi was absolute garbage it did not work leaving my phone & “smart tv” as good as useless. Randomly there was such an overwhelming smell of sewage in my room every night coming from the bathroom especially the shower, it was so disgusting we would run the shower with no one using it to try and flush out the smell. The heater or ac did not work either. This stay put a huge damper on our trip so badly that we didn’t even want to go back to the room, we tried to stay out as much as possible leaving no time for relaxation.

The bed was a tad too hard

I’m not going to complain about things that are typical in Europe hotels that differ from North America. The staff, in particular the lady with med length blonde hair, was rude every interaction with her. Checking in is confusing because you need to walk up some stairs with your bags to get to the front desk, a real challenge for guests with mobility issues. The staff did help with our bags to our room, but neglected to inform us the was in immediate step down once we entered our room and my sister fell and sprained her ankle, no apology and the bag of ice never came…breakfast was included but I’ll warn you not to try and get yourself a coffee or the blonde lady will rudely interrupt you and then complain about you in Italian to the staff while looking right at you. Would I recommend this hotel or ever stay here again, NO. There are a lot of hotels in the area and I’d find another hotel next time I’m in Rome

Freshly baked bread each morning,plenty of patries and fruit. Shower was fabulous. Staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Location was superb.

The staff are very courteous and accommodating. We booked one room for 4 people and was pleasantly surprised that they gave us a suite with a connecting door and each room has a bathroom which was really awesome. They served good breakfast and they even gave us food to-go on the day when we need to leave for an early flight. The hotel is in a safe area a walking distance from most major attractions. We had a great time and would stay here again.

Staff goes above and beyond . Building is historic and perfectly located to walk .

On the day we left the street was blocked preventing our taxi from being able to pick us up at the hotel. Not only did the staff assist us in getting our luggage downstairs, but they carried our luggage to the location that the taxi was able to meet with us.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights. Here are our highlights: - Our check-in experience was terrible. There was one person to check in the guests. We were waiting for over 30 mins to check in. - The elevator is tiny and slow - Pipes buzz every time other rooms use their washroom, might wake you up - The sink and drains smell of rotten eggs - No washroom door - In-room safe is not attached to wall/furniture, could easily be picked up and walked out with - Front desk is not on site starting around 10pm - The wifi was not working, was terrible and kept cutting out - This hotel was advertised online as 3-stars, but is actually 2-stars. False advertising - Advertised as luxury. Nothing, and I do mean nothing, is luxurious about it. The hotel talks about designer rooms and being a boutique hotel; the decoration in our room was laugh out loud tacky. With everything stated above, the room felt overpriced. We noticed better hotels available for cheaper in the neighborhood. The good - Location - Room we were in was spacious - Good breakfast

Front desk day staff was very rude

There’s one Italian front desk is not accommodating. 2pm check in is a must. No consideration for early arrival. Our room is great but hotel itself is very small. Surroundings is walkable

The hotel was very centrally located whether you’ve been to Rome or not; it was just the perfect location. Tucked away off a quiet street but also close walking distance to the metro and Termini for major transportation, the bus stops and then very close to major site seeing attractions. Whenever we visit again, it’s a good location to stay at.

Great location for a stay in Rome. Within 5-10 minute walk of the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Campo di Fiore. We even walked when we went over to Vatican City and to the Colosseum. The little street can get busy at times but so is everything in Rome. There are plenty of dining options and shops nearby and our favorite restaurant of the trip was literally 2 doors down (Bella Donna). Rooms are a good size. There is a small elevator but unless we had our bags, we just took the stairs. We were too early for our rooms to be ready but the staff took our bags up to our rooms for safe storage. The hotel breakfast buffet had good options available. Beds and pillows were on the firm side but we still slept well. Would definitely stay here again on a future trip.

Perfect location in the heart of Rome! 🇮🇹 We are very satisfied with our 4 nights at this hotel. The location is absolutely top. The hotel is quietly located in a side street, but you have all the sights such as the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and the Pantheon within a 5-10 minute walk. Colloseum about 20 minutes to walk. Several good restaurants nearby. We got room 105 facing the backyard. Very quiet and calm, but maybe a little dark room for some. Firm but good bed. Round bed :-) Nice with a fridge, AC and safe in the room. The breakfast is ok, but not memorable. Pleasant staff who were helpful with tips and help to book a taxi. We can certainly recommend this hotel for couples on a trip to Rome who like being close to the sights.

Great location- walkeable to the Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Colosseum, Spanish Steps- we even walked to the Vatican! Lots of restaurants nearby. It’s a small side street so you may have to have a taxi drop you closeby & walk a block at most but nothing difficult. Service was great taking our bags up the lift and the room was comfortable, air conditioned with clean and modern amenities. Since its a small side street, you don’t hear any noise at night! Would stay here again!

Schönes Zimmer, tolles Frühstück, fürs Zentrum eine ruhige Seitenstraße, Sehenswürdigkeiten fussläufig erreichbar, würde ich wieder buchen.

We had two adjoining rooms which was convenient for friends traveling together. The breakfast option was good and the cappuccino was great. Beds were comfortable and showers had plenty of hot water.

Central to many attractions that were walkable within 15-20 minutes. Many of the upscale shopping areas were close as well. Plenty of dining options and a Starbucks around the corner for anyone needing it. The hotel itself was nice. Rooms appeared recently renovated. Breakfast buffet was average. Nothing hot to eat that I recall.

Entrance is on a quiet side street not far from a lot of the big things to see in Rome. I was with a group and from what I could see, all the rooms are a little quirky in a good way. Breakfast had an amazing pastry selection. Staff was very helpful: we checked our bags ahead of check-in, then they took our bags up when the rooms were ready.

This hotel is perfectly located and has all the necessary amenities for a great stay in Rome. The staff is friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is simple but good. We had 2 connected rooms for a family. It was perfect!

Air conditioning was adequate at best. The staff was excellent. Great location. Outstanding breakfast selection with speciality coffee options. Would recommend.
