14 room hotel with a Michelin starred restaurant in the basement- draw your own conclusions!

Wonderful service, 5* breakfast and well located hotel.

We had a great time at this hotel. The staff were so friendly. Our room was really quirky and felt high end. Breakfast was amazing and the staff serving breakfast were great! Location was perfect, we could walk to all the main sights very easily. The only slight negative was the soundproofing. It wasn’t too much of an issue for as as it was out of season, but I imagine it could be quite loud in high season.

Huge, excellent room, best service, fantastic place!

A nice modern hotel but a couple of things let it down for us. 1, our room 102 was on the ground floor and a stones throw from reception and the main entrance. You can hear every person walking in and out of the hotel and even if someone is having a conversation in the lobby area you can hear it quite easily. Also our room window was next to the stairs into the hotel and right above the smoking area, again not very quiet. The bed in the room really needs replacing. It made so much noise you couldn’t move in bed without the whole thing creaking. Literally the slight movement made so much noise. The bathroom with the glass walls and glass door is a nice touch but you can literally see whoever is using the toilet very clearly with the big gaps between the door and glass wall so be prepared to see everything exposed. These little things did let it down for us. Also when it says there is a bar & restaurant. I wouldn’t exactly call it a bar. It’s one table with a couple of chairs next to the bar, felt slightly awkward sitting there when you’re next to the main entrance into the restaurant and the drinks are crazily over priced. The hotel staff were extremely polite and helpful. If I was to go back to Rome I probably wouldn’t stay here again. Especially if you were to pay full rates, I would have been extremely disappointed but we had a deal so wasn’t as bad
