I was disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The basics weren’t right: there was no hot water in the showers, the door lock was loose and felt unsafe, and the in‑room safe was broken. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving valuables behind. Another major issue was the lack of support from the front desk. If you don’t already have pesos, be prepared, the staff offered no clear directions to a bank or ATM. I spent over an hour trying to find one, and when I asked for help, the receptionist was confusing and unhelpful. No map, no written instructions, just a dismissive attitude. It felt like they didn’t care whether guests figured it out or not. One morning around 6 AM, I couldn’t even leave the property because the gate was locked. The staff member shouted from down the hall that she was coming, waking up other guests in the process. Because of the delay, my Uber driver charged me a waiting fee, even though he hadn’t waited long. That added frustration to an already poor experience. On my last day, I asked if I could store my luggage before checkout. They agreed, but simply told me to leave it in a utility room that didn’t look secure. When I tipped the staff member afterward, her attitude completely changed, which made me realize friendliness here seems tied to tipping rather than genuine service. The room itself had several maintenance issues: cabinets missing knobs, a bathroom door that couldn’t open fully because it hit the sink, and overall a lack of upkeep

It is a nice and affordable place, there's a few details that might bother some people I believe some other things compensate those little flaws. One of them might be if you're someone who's looking to wake up late everyday, try to request a room away from the street. A Church is right aside and they call to mass very early in the morning. Other than that the personel is very friendly and responsive to any request, the beds are comfy and the location is very convenient.
