Good: convenient location; white noise machine in room because it can get loud at night; Korres amenities; luggage hold if you arrive early Could be better: pool has no “free” seating - everything is on a pay basis. You either have to be in the pool or pay to sit somewhere. No one explained any amenities to me upon check in - I was left to figure things out (e.g gym, pool, breakfast).

Pool has pool parties!! Ok, so I picked this hotel based on the pool. Come to find out, Saturday, there was a pool party that was put on by the restaurant. Reservation only. My husband and I got lucky to snag 2 seats at the bar, but we could not use the pool. The party did go to about 2 AM, but the hotel provided ear plugs and sound machine. Hotel bar and patio are great. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Hotel is next to great restaurants.

Valet was off to the side. Not the properties fault but it was a little annoying. I would still stay there again though. Also the pool looks a lot bigger in the pictures. It’s only 3ft deep and pretty small.

AC Hotel was such a great choice for our night stay! Everything was clean and modern! The rooms were clean and a good size with everything we needed! The staff was also very nice and made sure our needs were met. Since there is no on sight parking, we had to pay $58 for the valet parking. Valet was also great! They were quick with getting our vehicles and very polite. Our stay was great over all.

The pile of toenails in the bathroom and by the entrance were a bit gross. The hotel responded quickly and sent environmental services immediately. The issue was resolved quickly but made us question the perceived cleanliness of the room. The bartender was great, the front desk friendly. Know that if you stay here you are right in the middle of a street that is a party street. It is loud and bustling. We were also disappointed that the rooftop bar is closed indefinitely. The pool is open but there is no service at the top.

We checked in on Friday 8/16 @ 4PM and the man at the desk was so friendly and pleasant I wish I remembered his name but he provided great customer service. The room was incredibly clean. Sheets and towels were also very clean. They serviced our room and remade the bed on our second day and gave us fresh towels. It is loud til about 3AM and we heard it on the fourth floor but I’m not upset about it because we were in the middle of downtown right next to all the clubs and bars so that was to be expected and the tv and noice machine helped with that. Over all was a great stay, we were happy with the location, cleanliness and customer service, I would recommend staying here.

Front staff was pretty friendly and the location can’t be beat! Nice pool area on the roof. I have 2 complaints however: 1) I witnessed valet floor my car to beat a yellow light and that is simply not ok. Could’ve crashed or worst. Considering I paid $60 for valet a night, I’d expect them to take better care of my vehicle. 2) We found our room to be clean except for a pretty large stain of who knows what on one of the pillows.

The room was clean and the property nice and tidy. The staff were pleasant but not very warm. Pool area was lovely. I wish there was better soundproofing on the street side rooms, even with the white noise machine it was unbearable. For a loud street it really needs some more thought.

The air conditioning unit wasn’t working and had to be serviced, the bedroom was clean but the floor and shower were filthy. The valet team was absolutely the best part, their service, care for us, our car, everything was on point. The included breakfast that was paid for in advance was cold, hard, and there were fly’s on the food. The hot breakfast was average. They did not adjust any pricing for the three night stay regardless if we only ate once and asked them I immediately after the first day if we could have that charge removed.

Stay was great, the only issues we had was with the plumbing and cleanliness. The toilet sink and shower kept backing up. Even on arrival. I had this issue on a previous stay as well. It is probably a plumbing problem. Also the shower had some mildew which wasnt bad but still could have been cleaned better. Other than that our stay was perfect. I wish they kept Techno beso the upstairs restaurant/ bar open year round.

Stayed at this hotel because of past experiences, but this one was terrible. Very dirty. Moved to a new room and still very dirty with hair in the sink the following day my room was not properly cleaned. Only new towels given the area was horrible. Very disappointing, unable to move out because it was prepaid

Our room was clean, small, and modern. Our room did have view of a wall, but we only stay one day and we were okay with it. staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel seemed nice overall. It was close many restaurants and to the convention centre.

Great hotel, with friendly staff and a nice location by tons of great restaurants. It is clean and comfortable. The only knock for me is some annoying noises: a loud click occasionally from the door mechanisms or AC, and a semi regular beep that i could not figure out where it came from. Everything else is great, though!

Great location nice from inside but don’t take a street room because the noise coming from outside is unbearable and stays on up to 2AM+. Not recommended if you need a peace of mind at night. They give you ear plugs and have a machine to reduce the noise in the room. Better choose a room from the other side to have a better sleep unless you are someone that stays up late!

Initially when i booked, i was mislead by the picture and did not know there is no opening windows in the room( on the picture the window is covered by curtains) The pictures don’t show that the room has tinted windows. Late checkout wasn’t provided.

This hotel was a more reasonable price, but we had a room that overlooked the neighboring buildings roof and it was just kinda dismal. The rooms are dark with harsh overhead lighting and aliding bathroom doors (which are awful and provide zero privacy). The roof top bar was closed which wasn’t expressed upon check in. Parking was on the “cheaper” end at $58, but ouch!

Hotel was in a great location if you’re planning to go to Gaslamp restaurants, bars, etc. it’s nicely updated & modern, room & overall hotel was clean. My only feedback is that the front desk staff was not very friendly. No smiles, no friendly greeting, just overall not a very welcoming experience. As someone who has worked in customer service for many years, the first impression by front desk staff makes a big difference. A smile & friendly banter goes a long way. Could use some extra training on creating a welcoming experience for guests. And also, the valet parking is $58 a night!! Ridiculous.

From the moment we parked at the valet to when we checked out there was nothing but great service. As we walked in we were immediately welcomed and helped. When we finished checking in we were given free drinks. This is a hotel i’d recommend for great service and for couples.

We were told we would be able to check in at noon and weren’t able to check in until almost 5pm. By the time we checked in the pool was closed which is why we booked this hotel originally. We valeted our car for $60 and when we got our car back after checkout, the seats were all lounged and our belongings that were in the trunk were rummaged through. I would not recommend this hotel, as the staff was extremely rude and made zero effort to accommodate us.

We had a terrible experience when my employee went out for a drink and when she tried to get back her key was not working. She went to the front desk and asked for a key but the guy there refused to do anything because her name was not on the reservation. She tried to call us but our phones were in a silent mode and we were sleeping so he told her that she can't get in. She was desperate as she had no place to go. She asked him to come and knock our door and he refused. Finally she sneaked in the elevator and another guest helped her to come up and knock our door and wake us up. I went down and then he agreed to let her in. I would fire emploees like him in a second!

The property is nice very clean but the front desk staff was externally rude to the point they basically called me out and I was so upset I wanted to not even check in but I had paid over $300 so I had to suck it up. The place is amazing but the staff were rude and I will not stay there again for that simple fact or will any of our friends and family .

Nice hotel located within a lively part of town. It was quite noisy in our room on Friday & Saturday nights as the streets are closed off to traffic so people can walk, talk, party and enjoy themselves and party they did !! As with a lot of big US cities the homeless and fentanyl problem is a big issue in downtown and the City needs to do something about the problem.

Hotel is located on a very busy strip. Cars are not allowed to drive through the streets as it is closed for pedestrians to walk. It’s very loud if you are a sensitive sleeper they provide a white noise machine. Great restaurants to eat and have a nice stroll in Gaslamp area.

New and well appointed property. The breakfast was really excellent, Shay (the chef and manager) was super friendly and helpful, Kevin (the cook clearly took pride in his dishes) and Sylvia (the server) made sure we where taken care of. The only downside was the valet parking being a little confusing when we approved but after that they where great as well.

It was in the heart of Gaslamp, right on Fifth Ave, central to night life. The rooms were a bit smaller than expected, I would say like a boutique hotel. Food and bars are all around, and a grocery store is not far. The breakfast options at the hotel are limited however. Weekend hours for the pool is questionable since there is a pool party that gets hosted, but overall it was a great location.

The hotel was nice, clean, modern, comfortable, etc. the male bartender we had was nice and gave recommendations on where to go and eat. All the staff were friendly, nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint is I wish the ice maker was bigger and easier to use. Other than that it was a great stay.
