My partner and I had a great time add this location nothing was too much trouble for the staff in order to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Reading the previous reviews to ourselves it seems that people were making a mountain out of a mole At least an eye unit things like the shower was a little smaller than would have been preferred but I'm a big guy and didn't find it that hard to navigate, the apartment could have smelt fresher but didn't smell of mould just needed more airing out a little difficult to do considering how cold the apartment was, we arrived late at night but in the morning at breakfast Tev immediately came round and got the heating and hot water working beautifully . Free parking was definitely a bonus the entrance to the car park was a little narrow but after my second night of a four-night stay it was no problem to navigate through just required that I paid attention a little bit more. Breakfast was a continental breakfast meaning that nothing was cooked apart from toast but a good choice of serial and bread but to counter and step they had a tuck shop within the property which easily allows you to upgrade your breakfast and cook something a little more to your liking as the apartment was fully cut it out kitchen wise

Westciti Caroco Aparthotel was a quick Uber from east Croydon station to take a train to Gatwick (15mins). The Aparthotel staff were very welcoming and helpful, helping me with my luggage and making sure I had all I needed. The rooms were very clean and modern and included all the amenities mentioned. Loved the breakfast rooms and used both the laundry facilities and gym. Convenient and easy stay.

The street the hotel is located on is fine and seems to be mostly residential. The nearby area with shops and restaurants was littered and dirty. It was close to bus stops and walking distance to East Croydon station which is convenient. The breakfast was pastries, toast, cereal, yogurt and fruit. The laundry facilities were inconvenient to use. The room did not have a toaster, just a hob, microwave and mini fridge. There was an oven and toasters in the breakfast room but that was not always available. Choose the full apartment if you want to cook.

I stayed for 2 days in one of their studios. I have to say, while it was clean, the room reminded me of a school dormitory. It seems as though the studios are one step above a hostel type environment with the exception that every room has their own bathroom. Unfortunately, the room was very warm for myself and for my friend's room as well. They do supply fans, so you will need to close the window and leave your door open for some time with the fan running to circulate cold air from the air conditioning unit in the hallway. There are no elevators, so be aware if you have heavy luggage that you will need to take it up staircases. The property manager was very helpful, detail oriented, and extremely friendly. He helped my friend and I with a checking process with pure ease. The lounge is available to use until 9:00 p.m. at night. There is a laundry room and a gym downstairs. And a property manager is on site until night time usually. If I return to Croydon, I'll more than likely will stay in the Westciti apartment as I was there originally for 12 days prior to leaving England and returning.

Easy to check in at anytime. Clean and reasonable. Laundry facilities. Only 5 parking spots on a first come first served basis - street outside hotel is 2 hours only paid for in daytime. Walls quite thin - I could hear every conversation in room next to me.

There is no parking so you're liable to get a ticket. Also the bath fills with water while you're showering and takes a while to go down. They upgraded my room which was fantastic.

Main issue was lack of parking. The website showed a parking area to the rear of the building describing ample parking. This was closed off and under construction for another building,leaving a total of three parking spaces at front of the property. The room was also very noisy every time someone opened and closed doors elswhere.

The room was clean even though a little warm. But a powerful fan was provided in the room. After a five hour drive I was a little disappointed that there was no off street parking available. Street parking was available but restrictions meant that you could only park there between 5pm and 9am.

The room was fairly clean, shower was a lil dirty and seemed to backup. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bed wasn't too comfy, we both left with our backs hurting. Bed extremely squeeky...just to sit down and get back up. In all fairness, we had a fairly pleasant stay, thank you

The property is dirty. Like there was mold around the ventilator, ventilation is poor too. There was a hole on the floor where you can literally see below the room. Ceiling seemed to be in construction but poorly built. Overall, not at all satisfied with the money I spent on the “expected” standard but not got it.

Enjoyed my stay, cleanliness can be improved as walls had slight dirt marks on them and fan had a lot of dust in it. Walls are slightly thin so noise from above or around could be heard but overall stay was 7/10

The hosts overall were good. The property although updated was very dirty. We had to wear our shoes in our room because of the amount of dust and dirt and other things on the floor. The bed was clean, but the chair in the room looked like it had blood or boogers, something on it. No air conditioning and you couldn’t keep the windows open because they allow people to smoke in front of the building and all the smoke came up into the windows into our room. There were guests talking outside until 11 12 o’clock at night so quiet times were not observed entirely. This would be a very, very nice hotel if the rules were followed, and they would clean the rooms properly.

Very clean and convenient. Continental breakfast options were good and having the kitchen gives you more options. Staff very helpful and nothing too much trouble. I booked very late when reception was closed, however the night manager made the booking in process very smooth.

It is a very nice facility. While most apartments have no front desks like this, there is one here. I could ask the guy at the front desk (which combines a shop) how to check-in. Our apartment was clean, warm, and well-kept.

Converted house with apartment setup - very cheaply done and the breakfast was access to a fridge with cereal, tea, coffee & milk. Bed was uncomfortable & pillows were lumpy. The bathroom stank of drains. Other than that it was fine!

None of the advertised photos accurately represented the building or the accommodations. The bed was hard, the mattress pad was unsatisfactory, and the pillows provided little comfort. The mattress stained and in poor condition. The sound from the gym equipment was noisy, and the room was cluttered with laundry bags. The 3rd floor room did not match the photos advertised. It was the smallest room in the building, with a kitchenette. The layout was not private at all, with three rooms located just outside my door, made it impossible to avoid overhearing conversations. Nights were particularly disruptive, There was constant slamming of doors and heavy footsteps on the stairs added to the noise. Construction activities started early in the morning right outside the window. The sound of machinery, an electrical saw plus equipment being dragged, was unbearable. Additionally, there was a persistent smell of weed throughout the building and an addict shouting from the top of her lungs directly in the area.

We booked for 3 nights . First night was ok second day and third day was terrible. Too much noisy . So loud voice of construction and maintenance in early Morning 7 am cant sleeep In the morning. The water of sink was leaking. Heatware kitchen, fridge was not working terrible can coook because there was not heat I was so disappointed Not going back Hate it

Good location, comms and Easley check-in and pleasant condition, although covered sofas are split under and really are not comfortable to sit on (maybe just my room). That’s all the good stuff….if you need quiet after midnight don’t stay here. Might have been my bad luck but the room was stomping around until 2:45am and y like dragging furniture around! The problem is worsened I think as this is a conversion and sound insulation is poor added to the hard floor surfaces. Like I said it may have been my bad luck…

The apart hotel is a budget friendly no frills hotel. Checking in was made online and checkout was all done electronically. Breakfast area was clean, basic but had a reasonable selection of continental breakfast items. The studio room we had was a modern comfortable with a kitchenette and toilet/shower room. Other features include a hair dryer, iron, ironing board and a fan. Sadly what let our stay down was that there was no air conditioning and the room was extremely hot. Even opening the window and putting the fan on didn’t make any difference. The fan was very noisy so couldn’t use it overnight to keep cool.

We were in a new section. There was lots of issues. The fire alarm went off at 3:10am. There was no one on site to help. Tried calling the phone number which went to answer phone. No fire information in rooms. I ended up calling 911. Next morning the issue was brushed off and they were trying to blame others rather than taking ownership of the issues. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Very clean and convenient. Continental breakfast options were good and having the kitchen gives you more options. Staff very helpful and nothing too much trouble. I booked very late when reception was closed, however the night manager made the booking in process very smooth.

I stayed from April 17- may 6 the room was great felt very homey staff was very helpfully only thing we didn’t get sheets changed upon last week of my stay but staff did a great job cleaning the room area lovely not too far from anything I wanted to extended my check out time due to flight issues wasn’t able to but would for sure book again

The room needed minor maintenance but was usable. The staff was responsive to concerns about the room. The finishes are not high quality but the room was clean and functional. The street the hotel is located on is fine and seems to be mostly residential. The nearby area with shops and restaurants was littered and dirty. It was close to bus stops and walking distance to East Croydon station which is convenient. The breakfast was pastries, toast, cereal, yogurt and fruit. My husband and I stayed here back in Aug 24 and it was a nice experience. So we returned again. They are building up so expect construction noise but other than that the stay is very quiet. I’d recommend this for affordable travel. Sits in a quiet Croydon community within walking distance to local convenience stores restaurants etc.

Easy to check in at anytime. Clean and reasonable. Laundry facilities. Only 5 parking spots on a first come first served basis - street outside hotel is 2 hours only paid for in daytime. Walls quite thin - I could hear every conversation in room next to me.

This “apart-hotel” was AMAZING! Ok, yes, it’s not in the “heart” of London, for that go and pay upwards of $700 a night. The staff was great: super helpful, friendly and nice. The Croydon Train Station is a 10-15 min walk. The self-serve kitchen (breakfast) was excellent. Truly recommend this place for a London vacation.

The unique feature was the open kitchen that had breakfast and the grocery store on the ground floor that v=was vary useful. The room was fine and clean. In sprng time the temperature in the room was warm. This may be a problem in summer.

Property was clean. Toilet bowl cover was not working properly. It was coming off the hinges. Apartment was hot at times even with the window open. The fan in the room did not make much difference to the temperature. The range and refrigerator were working well. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked with cereals, milk, sugar and tea. Converted house with apartment setup - very cheaply done and the breakfast was access to a fridge with cereal, tea, coffee & milk. Bed was uncomfortable & pillows were lumpy. The bathroom stank of drains. Other than that it was fine!

The apart hotel is a budget friendly no frills hotel. Checking in was made online and checkout was all done electronically. Breakfast area was clean, basic but had a reasonable selection of continental breakfast items. The studio room we had was a modern comfortable with a kitchenette and toilet/shower room. Other features include a hair dryer, iron, ironing board and a fan. Sadly what let our stay down was that there was no air conditioning and the room was extremely hot. Even opening the window and putting the fan on didn’t make any difference. The fan was very noisy so couldn’t use it overnight to keep cool.

Communication was good, followed steps to retrieve the key and complete my stay. Spacious room, utensils available and fridge, bed was a good size and parking onsite on first come basis, free parking after 17:00. The downfall was the toilet, after each flush the water in the toilet started to rise, took three attempts to completely flush. Also due to the heat, very hot in the room, no air-con facilities, the windows didn’t open wide enough to let air in, didn’t ask for a fan, so next time we see if this is an option as the heat disturbed my sleep. Other than that, really good place to stay, minimal noise during the night and decent decor.
