The property is new which gave it a luxurious feel. It was clean and comfortable. There’s a nice bar and outside area. The inside pool, hot tub and gym was a bonus. The only negatives were that breakfast wasn’t included and house keeping wasn’t every day. It’s very close to Biltmore Estate and Biltmore Village. Sadly the village was badly damaged in the hurricane last year but hopefully will be regenerated soon.

We booked this hotel as it has an indoor pool however the pool was closed. Nothing on any website stated that the pool was closed. There was also no ice machine on the floors and the front receptionist told us to use the kitchen ice machine, which was nice however that’s unsanitary to allow guest to enter a kitchen unsupervised.

Our night clerk Yamil was absolutely awesome. He always had a smile on his face and was ready to help anyway he could. The hotel was undergoing renovations .So we didn't get to enjoy the amenities, but we do plan on going back.

Beware- there is no pool or hot tub, which the hotel eliminated for a renovation and never updated Expedia. We were initially booked in a room with plastic over the windows for renovations. Desk said they were note this for a discount from Expedia, which they didn’t do.

Hotel amenities advertised, such as bar and fitness center, was closed due to construction! This was a decision factor for us! Staff was young and not very friendly or concerned with our inconvenience. Power went out and we were trapped in the elevator for 10-15 minutes, in which the staff was not concerned, nor did they bother to follow up and check on us. Construction on the floor above us started at 8:30 a.m. on a Saturday. The bed was very comfortable and great pillows!

They were in the middle of renovating and construction started at 7am. They could have waited til 9. Bar was not open during renovation. Otherwise friendly staff and good breakfast. Rooms were clean and spacious. Nice and close to Biltmore.

The staff is friendly and breakfast was good - would have loved more fruit options. Workout area nice, pool nice, hot tub nice but not very hot. The ac in our room worked but was so loud and made crazy sounds so we weren’t able to use it after it kept us up all night the first night. Maintenance came and didn’t fix the problem. When I called about it again was told there was nothing they could do but would let the manager know and ask about refunding a night since we were staying there 3 nights with no use of a/c unless we didn’t mind random loud repetitive roaring noises while it was on. No one got back with us and when I checked out with the manager and asked her about it she said “thanks for letting me know. I’ll email you a receipt”. Also, there is no where to fill a water bottle except at breakfast time. Otherwise there are just water fountains that don’t have water bottle dispensers. Seems like most hotels we stay at have an area for guests to get water for refillable water bottles. Pretty basic. Elevator was broken. Ice machine was broken We were pretty disappointed overall. They have a ways to go to be called a Marriott.

We received an email a week before our stay telling us it was under renovation. So the parking was convoluted until we were directed to the parking garage. We couldn’t enjoy the balcony. Some of the hallways were impacted. The staff was wonderful. The ice-maker didn’t work a couple of times when I went to use it, but they said they’d look into it. The breakfast area was nice & the whole place was super clean, you don’t mind big boxes of stuff laying around and not being able to use the amenities that you thought you would have when you booked it. Oddly enough, I would stay there again

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. However, the hotel is under renovations (which was only made aware to us at check-in) and the noise level between 8 am and 7 pm is LOUD! You will also need to be prepared to dodge your way around construction deliveries and debris. There is no food/beverage service after breakfast. The breakfast was almost the same each morning. When staying an entire week, it would have been nice to have some variety. In all fairness, the staff offered to find us another room, but since we had been on the road for 7 hours, we just wanted to settle in. I would have thought they would have offered a room discount because we did not receive the full advertised amenities, but when I asked, they would not consider it.

New hotel with nicely appointed amenities and furnishings. Small complaints; this is the 2nd new Marriott property we've stayed at with no bathroom exhaust fanss or night lights. Also, daily maid service only supplied 1 caffeinatd coffee to a suite with 2 beds and two people.

I liked how clean, and well kept the property was. I liked the easy check in and check out process. Room was perfect except for one small thing. There was not enough light in the room to really work on paperwork or projects. Beautifully decorated, just not enough light to see at night.

The hotel looked brand new, smelled great and was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The room was a little dark and the room we got had nowhere to put a piece of luggage but we told the front desk and she said they would work to get a luggage rack in the room and more lighting. Also a little disappointed that we had to pay for coffee in the lobby. Other than that, Our stay was great and comfortable. The hotel has a modern, sleek look and feel which sometimes is a little inefficient. All in all, we had a great time and would stay again.

Everything looked new and inviting. Wished bathroom door had a way to leave it open for convenience purposes; it would automatically close when you walked out to get something. It would have been great to have a choice to keep it opened; such as a "kick-stand". Bathroom lacked a hook to hang your clothes on. Toilet paper was way too thin; I'd take my own if I stayed again..ONE BIG DISADVANTAGE: Leaving the hotel, I had to wait 10 minutes at their stop light to get on to the main road. . 3 times leaving and I had to wait 30 minutes altogether.

Well I did not know it was undergoing a full renovation until I got there but I was still willing to give it a try. Also the pictures are not real they are what it is supposed to look like when it is done! We got a newly remodeled room which looked nice and was quiet but some of the outlets didn't work, the faucet handle for the hand held shower head did not work because it was missing a screw so all we had was rain shower head, no vent in the bathroom, and you had to prop the bathroom door open to get rid of steam. The piol area was nice but the hours were supposed to be 7a - 9p but it would not unlock until 8a so you couldn't get in. And lastly the staff were very dismissive and acted like we were an annoyance. This will end up looking nice but I don't know about the rest. I was not impressed. Sorry!

The traffic on the streets kept waking me up. Loud trucks, motorcycles and horn blowing. Very tired this morning. I hope that they remedy the sound with the renovations in progress.

Great location, parking was excellent, good condition of property, only drawback was room air conditioners are typically loud with fan noise, this one was particularly loud and would wake me up several times during the night cycle, don’t know why those units can’t be made more Quiet.

The hotel was very nice. The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was another story. First morning, while boring in its offerings, it was OK. The second morning was another story. There was no cream for coffee. The coffee ran out and guests had to wait about 20 minutes. Then there weren’t any cups. The styrofoam cups look cheap. Nice ones with the hotel’s logo would be better. The woman manning the station spoke almost no English. When I asked her to dump my watery coffee and give me my cup back do I could re-use it, she did not understand. There were no new cups to be had. A guest could not understand how to use the waffle maker. She looked at them, did not care or try to comprehend and moved on. There were instant grits galore. Instant oatmeal for us northerners would have been nice. The sausages were overdone like hockey pucks. I did not see any wiping of tables in two days. The countertops were covered in cereal. Parents of small children had very slim pickings for breakfast options. There wasn’t enough room. As a corporate group had taken almost every seat. I would definitely work on this.

Everything was fine except breakfast. They only served the same thing (mini-omelets and sausage) all four mornings we were there, and ran out of orange juice and eggs at 8:15 am one morning (they serve until 9). But there's a Starbucks right across the parking lot.
