The Selwyn was a lovely base from which to explore Richmond. The shopping and food areas were a 10 minute easy walk, and there was a lot to explore in a few blocks. We went to Kew gardens by bus from the train station so never needed a car while in town. Easy transportation to central London. There is some construction in front or the hotel this month making Uber to the airport a bit late, but that is expected to end by the end of the month. Rooms were smaller but comfortable and staff was very accommodating. Good TV channel selection for a hotel. Good breakfast. Would stay again if in the area.
