This is an excellent place to stay in Puebla, with lovely rooms, nice restaurants and great staff. Abraham who works in the rooftop bar was an excellent host to us every night we were there! Thanks Abraham.

El hotel es pequeño, si hay boda es un desastre, nos entregaron 1.5hrs tarde la habitación, el precio de los alimentos es excesivo y una locura no corresponde al sabor y calidad por supuesto, no tiene estacionamiento en la propiedad, tienen que mover tu auto unas cuadras al estacionamiento, el ambiente y montaje de la terraza no es apto como para invitarte a quedarte. El personal es amable pero tiene pocas herramientas para actuar. Las instalaciones están muy bonitas el problema es la operación y devolverle al cliente la experiencia por la que pago

The Banyan Tree Puebla is an excellent hotel within 5 min walking distance from downtown Puebla in a safe neighborhood. The property is quiet and relaxing. The staff are helpful and Charlie the concierge went above and beyond to help arrange last minute transportation and appointments for us. We also loved the view from the rooftop restaurant!

El hotel está bonito, la habitación estaba de muy buen tamaño y muy bonita, con buena decoración, su baño espacioso y elegante, la terraza del hotel con buenas vistas a las iglesias de Puebla, ubicación cercana al centro histórico. El único pero relevante problema que tuvo mi estancia es que el aire acondicionado no funcionaba y fuimos en un día caluroso por lo que en la noche no pudimos descansar por el bochorno, lo reportamos y fueron muy atentos e intentaron resolverlo brindándome un cooler, lo cual no resolvió por completo pero si ayudó, eso se aprecia que hayan intentado resolverlo y también me dieron de cortesía el desayuno tratando de compensar los inconvenientes, conclusión en un hotel de esta categoría de lujo deben ser cuidadosos que funcione su instalación de aire acondicionado porque te puede generar malestar y no poder descansar si la noche es calurosa, sin embargo dándoles el beneficio de la duda de que fué algo aislado su problema con la instalación del aire acondicionado si consideraría regresar en otra ocasión

The property is beautiful and our room was very nicely appointed. The rooftop was the perfect place for sunset! With a view of the volcano. The location is further from the historic center than I would suggest to stay. We love to walk but there is so much to walk and see that adding the extra to get back to the hotel was a bit much. All the shopping and restaurants are around the historic square so we found we would Uber from the hotel to the square then start walking from there. The disappointment with our room was it was hot. The AC would not adequately cool the room. We asked for a fan but it was still stuffy. It’s almost as if they controlled the temps ever though we had a control panel in our room. Also we were on the 4th floor and every night around 10 the sounds of dragging chairs above us was very loud. So loud that it woke us up. I thin it must have been coming from the rooftop when they close for the evening. Staff needs to be attentive to not dragging chairs and realize it is very loud to the floor below them. The hotel is very nice however I would not suggest it because of the location and the cost when dealing with a hot room and the noise from above.

Amazing hotel with amazing service! The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are amazing as well as the bathroom that have this beautiful tub. All the hotel colleagues are incredible and make you feel so special. They are very attentive to your every needs. There is an amazing bar behind the front desk that is only opened on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. A must to visit when it is opened. I highly recommend this hotel. Make sure to not get a room that faces the busy street on the side of the hotel. Even though the sound isolation is good, it can get a bit noisy. Overall, an amazing hotel.

WiFi connection needs to improve and they do not have a work center or a place in the room for you to work. The staff was very friendly and they offered me a table at the restaurant but it did not have a place to plug in and the WiFi was terrible.

Not only did our room get downgraded, they did the very minimum to fix the issue. Ontop of that they didn’t honor the “VIP” perks to staying there. They gave our room to a wedding guest to left their belongings in our room. They didn’t even attempt to clean the room properly before giving us the room with their wedding invitations and bags. We were treated like second class citizens. I would NOT recommend this hotel. Ontop of that service American hotel guests were loud and obnoxious drunk in the hallways at midnight. I’m disgusted with the treatment we received and the fact that our room was downgraded from what we paid and were asked to pay $200 dollars to try to upgrade the room, even though they’re the ones who made the mistake and giving away our room!!

Every employee I encountered was very polite and attentive, they are there to answer every question you could have or need. The food is also great and plenty, overall I recommend this place for your short or long stay. They will be there to make sure you enjoy your stay.

The AC would not adequately cool the room. We asked for a fan but it was still stuffy. It’s almost as if they controlled the temps ever though we had a control panel in our room. Also we were on the 4th floor and every night around 10 the sounds of dragging chairs above us was very loud. So loud that it woke us up. I thin it must have been coming from the rooftop when they close for the evening. Staff needs to be attentive to not dragging chairs and realize it is very loud to the floor below them. The hotel is very nice however I would not suggest it because of the location and the cost when dealing with a hot room and the noise from above.

The property is beautiful and our room was very nicely appointed. The rooftop was the perfect place for sunset! With a view of the volcano. The location is further from the historic center than I would suggest to stay. We love to walk but there is so much to walk and see that adding the extra to get back to the hotel was a bit much. All the shopping and restaurants are around the historic square so we found we would Uber from the hotel to the square then start walking from there. The disappointment with our room was it was hot. The Banyan Tree Puebla is an excellent hotel within 5 min walking distance from downtown Puebla in a safe neighborhood. The property is quiet and relaxing. The staff are helpful and Charlie the concierge went above and beyond to help arrange last minute transportation and appointments for us. We also loved the view from the rooftop restaurant!

food in italian restaurant, chello, was terrible. Returned the pizza (tasted like cardboard). Service was ok. Then went to breakfast. That restaurant opens at 7, arrived 7:30, and nothing was set up and noone really cared. This is not typical of the Banyan Tree glagship.

Disappointed. I was staying at a highly rated hotel and it was not. Both bedroom lamps did not work and they had to fix them. The Nesspresso never worked. The bathroom had broken tiles and a small hole in the wall. The room was far from impeccable. We had dessert in the restaurant on the 5th floor and the cheesecake was rancid and I returned it. The food in the other restaurants was okay. This place needs new management and an investment in making it better.

El hotel muy bonito! La comida y servicio dejan mucho que desear de un Banyan Tree. Pedimos pollo empanizado para mi hijo en el área de alberca y nos trajeron pescado “crudo” Papas fritas crudas, tacos dorados con queso “pasado” en fin las instalaciones no son congruentes con la comida y el servicio!!

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. We had limited choices as we needed a car park but it was lovely and easily within walking distance to the centre of town. The staff were amazing and helped us with a problem with our rental car speaking Spanish to the company and everything was resolved. The rooftop pool area was a lovely experience after walking in the sun all day.
