Place was run down and stains on sheets and curtains. Broken desk chair. I booked a stay here because they advertise they have a restaurant and bar attached. They have no restaurant it is closed. And the bar only stays open till 8 instead of midnight like advertised. Also the bar was kind of run down to. Spending a little time to clean the place up and fix it up and this would be a nice hotel in a nice little town. The owners obviously are letting it get run down and doing the bare minimum of repairs and cleaning. I would not stay here again.

I DID NOT APPRECIATE THE ELEVATOR BEING OUT OF SERVICE What hotel has only ONE elevator. The room had a old smell and i TRULY DID NOT LIKE THE OLD RUSTED SHOWER HEAD AND RUSTED SHOWER BASE. There SHOULD have been a service company to IMMEDIATELY repair the elevator being theirs only 1 on site. My husband had a bad knee and I've had a knee replacement and to make us go up and down the stairs is CRUEL. I should have been offered our money back and go to another hotel but that doesnt seem to be an option, which is QUITE SAD.

I liked that the property was surrounded by bars and restaurants. Unfortunately the hotel seemed dated and tired looking. It was very dark and dismal on the inside and not very welcoming. The off street parking lot was old and falling apart, also it was not very well lit up. The staff was very helpful when we had to change rooms at 11:30 pm due to a barking dog in the room next to us.

The first room had black mold in it. The person on duty was rude and didn’t care that there was mold in the room and that it wasn’t clean in general. And the second room that we were moved to wasn’t much better.

This hotel was very dirty. The first room they gave us was covered in vomit and had booze bottles all over. When I asked for a different room they asked if it was up to my expectations. Well it wasn’t covered in sick so yeah it was “better.” There was a smell through the whole hotel though. And our second room was covered with mold. Fairly certain there were bed bugs as well and even the second room not fully sure it was actually cleaned as there were crumbs on the bed side table.

The pictures in the listing are not honest pictures , pay attention to other recent reviews. It does not look like this. The hallway smelled like someone emptied 2 aerosol cans of air freshener, it was hard to breath. The room was gross, everything (sheets included) had stains. We spent 10 minutes in the room and left.

TL:dr – This hotel has bed bugs, and I’m having to fight them to refund my full 2-night stay, even though I was only in the room less than one hour. Expedia won't refund me without the approval of the hotel. I have photos and videos of the overall condition of my room, which was already abysmal - the reviews claiming renovations are either lies or this room was left off the list. I dropped off my luggage earlier in the evening and left after 10 minutes. Didn't get back until 11:30, was in bed by 11:55. Within 3 minutes, a bed bug was crawling on the comforter. I got up, packed up to leave, took a video on my way out and another bed bug was crawling on the pillow I had just been laying on. I told the front desk on my way out, they weren't surprised, referenced "the last time this happened" and told me to contact Expedia and the manager. This morning I was notified by Expedia the hotel refused my request for a refund for the two nights, even though I was only in the room less than an hour total.

Absolutely disgusting property. Rooms look like they have never been cleaned, stains on bedding, doors wouldn’t close and looked like they have been kicked in. We were up all night from doors opening and closing. It was so loud, and it was not because the guests were being rude, it was that the doors were warped. So when you tried to open them, you had to kick the door in and then slam the door shut so it would shut properly. The bathroom floors were sticky, and totally needed to be updated. We got a text once we arrived to ask if we needed anything, and we texted back and said we needed toilet paper. Never received an answer so went to the front desk and the guy there said he had never heard of sending out texts. So we showed him the text we received and he said that must go to his boss not him. So he had to grab the toilet paper from the front desk and take it upstairs Would not stay here again again.

For an inexpensive stay, the bed was fine. Sheets were clean and surfaces wiped down. Room had no light bulbs in fixture, so first attempt at lighting up our room upon a 9pm arrival proved to be a bit challenging. Door was sticky and layout of room and bathroom was like they used a utility closet as a guest room. Walls were fresh painted which was nice but a paint scraper would have gone a long way to clean up frames, bathroom floors, shower, and vanity. No remote in the room for the TV. Overall the hotel lobby and everything was a bit rough.

It was an old Hotel on the main street. The owners appear to be updating the rooms but our bathroom specifically either had a sloppy update or it's still needing to be completed. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure we experienced the "update". The bathroom bowl took up the entire 'counter'; the shower door opens into the shower and you have to be inside the shower to turn the faucet. This caused water to spray on the floor.

The design of the bathroom is a major problem. Its too small. The shower door should be a slider. As it is, you can't turn on the water with out getting all the way into the show and being under the cold water. The bowl sink looks nice, but it's impractsble.

I was hesitant about staying after reading all the other reviews. Its a low budget hotel that is dated. King size Room was clean and looks like they tried to update bathroom but no counter space and could not open door fully to bathroom as toilet in way. Breakfast was a joke. TV Was the size of a microwave mounted on wall that u could not see from the bed. All i needed was a clean room to sleep in for 3 nights and it served its purpose for the price.

The room barely looked clean. There were snack wrappers on the floor by the beds and one of beds had gum dried on the headboard. The hotel lost power the second night and refused to refund any portion of the cost for that night after we had no choice but to check out early and try to find new accommodations. Awful experience, will never be back.

I have stayed at a few different Baymont by Wyndham hotels in the past with my family and dog with no issues, so I booked the hotel for my family's vacation that was a mistake. The room we got was not cleaned at all, there was still garbage in the trash can and on the floor. The toilet did not work and the employee at the front desk said to just turn on and off the water valve every time we used the toilet. The mirror in the bathroom had a huge piece missing from it posing a cut risk, and the hallway outside of my room was flooded with standing water creating a slip and fall hazard. There was trash piled up outside of the elevator for two days. We asked for towels and toilet paper for the room and did not receive any for two days so we bought our own. The hotel and room was so bad that we decided to end our family vacation early and go home.

I was completely disregarded at check in. 1 staff member never looked up to help me even when asked by another staff member, who was on the phone. He instead picked up his cell phone and started scrolling instead of helping me check in. I was promised a late check out but that was rescinded as well. Never again. I'd rather stay in my car for the night

By far worst hotel we've ever stayed at, and we could tell this based off our first impression when we walked in. Hotel is run down. Our room was awful with dusty vents & uncomfortable bed. Staff was not friendly at all. Just unbelievable for what we paid for a two night stay here. The management of this place should be ashamed.

Took over 45 minutes to get a room, then when the employee finally came, had a room with a small tv and no remote. Solution was to give me an even smaller room with a remote. eventually got same room with operational tv and an actual ceiling. initial room was missing ceiling tiles. Horrible experience and could not get a hold of anybody during the process. This is why I stay in Hilton or Hyatt hotels and not wyndham. Customer Service was also a joke. Had to spend 30 minutes after arriving at 10:30 pm cleaning the bathroom myself to remove all the hair and dirt from the bathroom and shower. Manager was supposed to contact me to discuss but never did. Staff also tried to enter my room with a key card after checking in, and the cause of the issue was that one of the staff incorrectly noted the room I was checked into so they wanted to “confirm I was in that room”. Hotel was unclean, manager never followed up to discuss dissatisfaction. Overall extremely poor experience.

The motel was on the Main Street . I was surprised and parking in the back. It really needs to be cleaned and swept up by their back door. The room was clean and a nice shower. But they need to finish the remodel in the bathroom. Door is heavy and squeaks, tiles are missing in the ceiling, under the sink needs to be concealed. Otherwise is was good for one night and the price.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past, it has always been Very good. The continental breakfast was well stocked, hot coffee, and plenty of items. This time all hot items were out, no coffee, the plastic silverware was out of stock, I got the last plate and bowl, and that was at 7:45 am! In the room I was used to cleanliness from the past, the bed was fine, but the room looked disheveled, an AC vent was hanging off the wall, the shower had long hairs in it from the last guest or cleaning lady, and the bathroom had been painted but they sprayed the floor and sink cabinet. Just a really messy job by the handyman. I used to look forward to staying here, I am not sure what has happened in the last 6 months, it has gone downhill for sure. When the desk clerk was approached about the breakfast, he just said, "the owner handles that".

The internet connection was horrible. I quit trying and wound up using my moble phone hotspot. There was no ice available other than in the bar. There was no coffee or juice for the breakfast. Not even the toaster worked well. The person who checked us in was very friendly. What did work well was the entry keycards for the room.

The room was nice. Came with the essentials TV, mini fridge, and microwave. Had dove soap, shampoo, and conditioner, which was a step up from the regular stuff. The breakfast was the best, I had eggs, sausage links, waffles, banana bread muffins, Apple juice, and a banana to go on my way to the job I was there to do. I would most definitely stay here again.

This was the first time staying at a hotel that was downtown. It seemed like a converted building to being a hotel. I liked the safety of scanning your room key to get the elevator to deliver you to the floor your room was on. The bed felt comfortable, I did not look for the a/c but I should have it felt humid. The bathroom had an odd layout but it worked fine. Two old broads arrived late last night and were practically shouting outside our door. The noise was a factor the whole weekend. I know breakfast is free but really? They purchased six glazer donuts, I did not see another pack. No plates for the waffles. One breakfast sandwich to be had for almost ten people trying to grab a bite to eat. Not well maintained.

Other than the bathroom door not opening all the way and the chairs being uncomfortable everything was fine.. For breakfast the butter was frozen and when I suggested they take it out of the refrigerator they ignored me. Only had cranberry juice. No apple or orange. The eggs were ok but the bacon was overdone. The sausage was ok.

If you think you want to book here...DON'T. Rude desk associate. Room was in terrible shape. Cracked tiles, refrigerator was not clean, toilet paper stuffed into the ceiling, front of bath vanity was ripped off. I could go on, but I won't.
