The pool hours and ice machine was broken on first floor

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The parking was easy even with a trailer. Second time staying here. I’ll come back again!

Nice place to stay in a road trip. Rooms are nice pool was not huge but clean. Breakfast was a good continental breakfast. Nothing super fancy but above average hotel.

Wife and I stayed for one night. Lobby and room had a slight mildew smell. AC worked great, bed was comfortable and shower was hot with good pressure. The gym is very small with a bike, treadmill, and small weight set, treadmill did not work. Room was dated and a little dirty feeling. Bathroom door did not close well. Noticed a stain on one of the bath towels. All in all not bad for under $100 but manage your expectations

It was stated that there was parking for vehicles with trailers and there was not!

We love staying here when we visit Berea. The hotel is super clean and the staff is super friendly. the breakfast is good and their coffee is fantastic. They also have a huge parking lot. We won't stay anywhere else. This was our 3rd time!!

Unpleasant mothball type smell in lobby and hallways, very strong in lobby. You can tell it’s an older building and could use some TLC. Very basic breakfast. The room was clean and shower had good water pressure and hot water. Over all, the only thing that would deter another stay is the smell in the lobby and hallways.

Bedding smells like it was sour. Spray didn’t take away the smell

Inexpensive rate and a clean hotel.

The towels were a dingy gray color, so gross. The pillow cases were yellow.

Room was nasty, it was clean in regards to the bed. We didn’t notice any bugs but the second we walked in we gagged at the smell. The carpet was dirty, the whole hotel just smelt nasty. Breakfast was a crockpot with gravy and biscuits and then pastry’s and yogurt. The property had dog poop everywhere.

Stayed in the second floor. One half side had a weird odor like mold along the hall way. Even the bed room had mixed bad odor. Front desk kindly changed to another room. Second one was okay. No outside view. The brick wall stands right front of the window.

Clean and quiet. WiFi would not work the morning we left. Room was very nice, could have used another chair. Buffet breakfast was good and they kept food fresh up until breakfast was done. Did not use the pool due to time constraints. Nice bed, Would stay again

Great value for our stay. The shower pressure was AMAZING! I slept very comfortably on the bed, and our room was quite spacious.

The only downfall for this property is the poor Wi-Fi.

my first 2 nights were great. It was quiet, and clean. on night 3 there was some sort of mass gathering (many people congregated in the parking lot for a party?) but the door banging and loud noises didn't stop until well after midnight. I turned on the bathroom fan to help drown the noise, but it made the room smell musty when I left it running. I checked out a day early, and when the (very nice) manager tried to refund me, quality inn actually charged me an extra $40 and did not refund me for the last night I was charged for. The rooms were clean, the staff was very nice, but I don't think the facility is set up for any kind of sound dampening. The doors should have soft close hinges, instead they SLAM shut unless you stop them, and that sound carries. It was very jarring to have such loud noises well into the night.

It was fine…nothing great. The hotel is more dated than their pictures show. My room had an obviously broken electrical plate cover, cracked sink, door needed paint, shower head didn’t look very good and the top of the shower insert looked gross. The furniture is sparse and only one set of usb ports at the desk. No usb ports bedside…it’s 2025 that’s a small ask. The breakfast was primarily carbs and the breakfast room is tiny. Cups for drinks are tiny…also had a tacky sign stating not to take food or drinks out of the room. The room was packed on the weekend and I should feel forced to eat with people. If you don’t want to serve breakfast then don’t serve it. The price of the room for the condition of the hotel is more so really you shouldn’t be so stingy about the cheap breakfast that’s being offered. Kind of like having 4 small standard pillows on a king size bed. It looks cheap and isn’t what one expects. Also cleaning crew was hard at it early they started around 7:30-8:00am Sunday morning and made all kind of banging noise vacuums all around my room.

Room was big, nice king sized bed, desk with rolling chair. Shower had hampoo and conditioner available, also a body wash bar of soap. The night was quite and A/C was good. The shower drained slow but that wasn't a problem for us. The breakfast offered was biscuits and gravy, waffles, toast, and bagels. Also cold cereal and yogurt, coffee, apple, pineapple, cranberry and orange were the different juices available.

Forgot my iPad in my room after checking out. The staff was extraordinarily persistent and helpful in tracking me down before I had driven very far down the highway. Exceptional service!

Stay wasn't too bad, but the check in was very bad. I had reserved two rooms, one in my name another in my son-in-law's name. They were actually listed as two reservations for some reason, and the lady at check in didn't find the second room because she was looking at her information. She said that she couldn't do anything about it because we have booked with a third party (YOU!) I called the Hotel.com number and got caught up in a "circle call" with your AI hostess not knowing what was going on. It took calling back your number 5 times and over 30 minutes to get a real person on the line. He told me what to tell the lady at the Quality Inn in about 30 seconds to fix the problem. Fortunately it worked, but really was a miserable way to end a 7 hour car ride.

I arrived late in the evening after driving through a terrifying snowstorm. The clerk at the front desk seemed annoyed that I was there and was unfriendly. She gave the impression that I was bothering her by checking in. A robot would have been friendlier at that point in time. The hotel has an outdated appearance and a weird smell. If you want a late checkout, you'll need to pay $45 for the privilege. All in all, I spent about 6 hours at the hotel and that was about 5 hours too long. If this is your only choice, lower your expectations.

Everything was great. the beds were comfy and the staff was polite, courteous, professional and accomodating.

The staffing really needs to be trained properly and not be rude. They definitely could use a face lift on room and building. When I asked staff why I was double charged for a pet fee which should have been 50$ it was dbl charged and the staff upfront didn’t have information. Then 2 other workers proceeded to talk about the fact that I have 2 dogs so that’s how it is. Seriously ridiculous how you hire people like this when it clearly states 25 per dog. I won’t stay here again due to the staffing and the room had an odor and ac doesn’t work

So the hotel is by the college which is why we picked it. There were maybe one or two other cars in the lot so we pretty much had the hotel to ourselves. Checked in was ok. Nothing over the top or extra friendly about the girl at the desk. Usually they tell us check out times and when breakfast is. This wasn’t done. Ok no biggie. The hotel room was fine. Nice size little refrigerator and the usually amenities. No one told us though the refrigerator was attached to an outlet that was controlled by a switch at the door. We had it off because we didn’t want the light on and didn’t realize the whole wall was controlled by the switch. So the milk that we purchased for my son was almost spoiled by the time we figured out we accidentally stopped the fridge. Ok. Next morning we were packing to get ready to check out. We had the dnd sign on the door as we’ve had it on the whole time because we don’t want people in our room. So check out is 11am and it’s about 10:05am and my husband is changing in the room and I’m playing w my son. I hear a slight, subtle knock, then before I could say anything,I heard the noise for the door unlock and the housekeeper tried to walk in! Again sign on door and husband changing. Not to mention again it wasn’t even check out time. This alone was so unacceptable and makes you wonder why no one else was staying there and how often the housekeeper just goes into rooms w signs on the door or on people that didn’t even say it was ok to enter their room.

I enjoyed my stay here; if I return to the area, Quality Inn will be the place I will choose. The price was very reasonable, front desk staff courteous and efficient, the room was great, common areas and the rooms were spotless, breakfast was quite good. The location was convenient. Amenities were good too - pool and fitness area, coffee in the room, microwave, a good sized refrigerator, great selection of TV channels. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable. One minor annoyance: an overly eager maid. She asked if I was checking out of the room at around 8:30 when I was on my way to breakfast, and knocked on the door before 10:00 even though I had the privacy tag on the outside of the door. I understand that she was in that part of the hall, and that there isn't much time to prepare all the rooms for the next occupant, but the privacy tag, more than an hour before checkout deadline, should be respected. That was the only slightly negative part of the stay. Everything else was superb. I have stayed in far more expensive places, big names in the hospitality industry, that weren't nearly as nice.

The motel was in a very quiet area. Everything was well maintained and clean. The outside of the property was attractive, breakfast was good and the staff and manager were extremely friendly. It was also a good value for the price.

The motel is not far from the Interstate and it is close to the KY Artisan Center and Berea College. The Pinnacles are a short drive away. A Mexican Restaurant is within walking distance and is very good !

Excellent property. Incredibly clean in all areas and all of the staff were very friendly. Removed 1 star because the breakfast is incredibly disappointing. They only have white flour and sugar options.

only thing we didn't like was that they didn't allow taking a breakfast plate back to room to eat. And on our early morning checkout which was too early for us to eat, it would have been nice to be able to toast a bagel with some cream cheese to take with us for coffee and bagel on the road.
