My Place Hotel-Boise/Meridian, ID

Would like to have had a pool and breakfast

Quiet, clean room. Pet friendly and not outrageous expenses for that. No ice machine in the building, just if you make it yourself in your room so obviously we had no ice for the evening. No breakfast, just coffee.

We stopped for one night on a long road trip. We didn’t need a gym or breakfast, so it’s nice to not pay for those amenities. The room was quiet and clean with a comfortable bed. They have a nice grassy pet area and furnish waste bags.

This motel is pretty bare bones, but very clean and comfortable. There isn’t a pool or hot tub, and no breakfast in the morning. No makeup wipes etc. but the rooms are clean and the beds are comfy!

We’ve been staying in a lot of hotels as of late. This was a reservation for two nights. I think coming from the Nampa MyPlace where it was ultra clean and the beds were like clouds may have tarnished my perspective on this one. The room had that dirty feel to it. Bathroom was not cleaned well. The beds were very hard with tiny little pillows that separated quickly when layed on. The laundry room was dirty both nights of our stay, which was frustrating because we really needed to do laundry. I kept hoping someone would clean the obvious grass pieces and chunks of paper in and on the washers. Nope. I do have to say, the outside maintenance man did a wonderful job of cleaning the grounds which included the tables and bbq. He was very courteous and mindful of the people sitting around chatting but very thorough at his job. In short, the employees were very nice but inside the building, laundry and my room, had much to be desired.

The hotel was located in a good area for dining and for shopping. The traffic around Meridian was terrible. Not the hotels fault. The property was quiet and clean. Safe place for parking.

Good place to stay while traveling. "My Place" hotels do not charge for a pet. They do take a refundable deposit. Always a dog walking area, including poop bags! How can you go wrong? :)

Not luxury, but for a budget/extended stay type of place, it felt welcoming and was very clean in the room and in the common areas. Parking lot/grounds were nicely maintained. Lots of food options nearby (try Zalleens mediterranean cafe across the street, or the First Watch breakfast cafe in the same parking lot!), easy access to freeway, and even a shopping mall across the street. I didn't see any sketchy people in the area, which was nice. Parking lot was well lit and felt safe for parking overnight.

These are set up as extended stays, My biggest problem is there is no ice machine, it has a full size frig. but the ice maker is always off when I arrive and the first thing I want is a drink. I think for the price there should be a continental breakfast of some kind.

there are truly not enough good things to say when it comes MyPlace in meridian // boise. the staff are all so friendly and helpful. it is clean, quiet, and oh my god is it comfortable. i've never slept so good. i even waited around for the GM to show up on the day i checked out just so he could tell me the mattress brand. the water pressure.... is insane (positive). each shower felt like the perfect combo of massage and clean. the shampoo and conditioner provided is amazing as well. i don't remember the brand but would love to find out. my hair felt SO clean and soft. they even provide you with a laundry basket?! for the laundry facility on site. big fan of the location as well. there are PLENTY of things to do within walking distance. the wifi is free and high speed. parking is free too. if i had to give a downside, i would say it's the TV. there are very few channels and they didn't always work when i clicked on it. something about the signal. idc svu always worked for me and i could watch tv on my ipad if i really wanted to. anyway, it's been about 5 days since i stayed here and i miss it every day. if i lived in the area, i wouldn't even bother with a lease. id just stay at MyPlace. tbh i almost wanna travel back here just to stay another night at this hotel. for the cost, you really truly cannot find ANYTHING better. i have been traveling for the last 15 years and i have never ever everrr stayed at a hotel like this. i wish there were more locations.

Super clean room. My husband and I were super impressed by how clean and good it smelled. Price was awesome. Front desk service was ok. Not the friendliest or inviting person.

Clean and very friendly. Nice set up of a tiny kitchen too. Quiet and lovely place, I’d stay again.

There was hair everywhere! It was absolutely disgusting! I will NEVER return!

I’ve heard great things about MyPlace—no frills, simple, inexpensive. There was no hand soap in our bathroom. Checked with front desk and they had run out. I had to go to a store to buy some. The place smells. Garbage smell by the elevator. Food smells throughout. My family was resting in the evening and cooking smells from another room were incredibly intense. Then the smoke started, smoke detector went off and firefighters came. Smell didn’t go away. Feels less “no frills” and more “cheap motel.”

Roman was not properly cleaned. Hair on bathroom floor, toilet was not clean and shower had mold on the tile.

Property was very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Linens and towels nice quality. I would recommend staying here. Quiet. AC worked great, it is 100 degrees here

When I arrived I was informed that the hotel’s morning person had canceled my room reservation and done nothing to fix it. When I arrived, they no longer had my room type and had to give me a different room. Hotels has escalated this concern, as travelers cannot be afraid they won’t have a room when they arrive. The female manager is abrupt. They don’t offer decaf packets for the rooms, nor do they offer lotion or mouthwash or makeup removal cloths. We only had the very basics in this room. We had a kitchen, which was nearly unusable because it was not stocked with ANY dishes, flatware, pots or pans of any sort. There was a 10” dark hair on the shower wall and a shorter (pubic?) hair on the edge of the tub. There is no free breakfast at this hotel whatsoever and it actually cost me more than the Hilton the night before, that had a free, beautiful hot buffet. The coffee in airpots downstairs was cold.

Everything was great from check-in to check-out aside from the hair found in the shower on the body wash & the wall. We woukd stay here again.

Decent, safe location. Very helpful front desk. Clean and functional room. Kitchenette was nice. High quality big screen TV. Will be back again.

Average at best. Extended stay with a fridge stove top etc but no pots or pans or dishes or utensils. I guess you have to bring your own. Clean and comfortable however.

Everything is good. The only thing that would be nice is to have two comfortable chairs. It seems like most hotels only have one comfortable chair in the room.

Best beds and pillows I ever slept on and only place I have found with a recliner!

The only problem we had is the room above stomped around until around midnight. Could hear it more than i would like. Otherwise a pleasant one night stay.

Never stayed at a My Place before. Little things like a regular refrigerator that makes ice to a microwave a two burner cook top. Clean rooms and common area. A very friendly staff. Now add a huge screen TV nice size room and a very competitive price. Needless to say I will search for a My Place in my travels from now on. They do it right. The is no breakfast buffet but you can make a meal in your room. So the quality of your meal is in your hands. They do supply 24 hr free coffee and hot water. I have no negatives to offer. Right down to the parking. Thanks My Place !

Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Very clean. Nice recliner in the room. I can’t tune it a 5 star rating bc clearly it’s a budget motel. As far as budget friendly places go- it was too notch. I’d stay here again.

I have stayed at this location probably a dozen times, always been very happy with customer service, cleanliness, location, etc. This time the fire alarm went off at midnight, everyone vacated the building, stood in the parking lot and eventually went back inside. No one from the hotel came outside to say everything was fine to go back inside. That morning I ask the front desk what happened, I guess someone was smoking in the stairwell and it set off the alarm. I was very disappointed in how this was handled by the hotel. For inconvenience alone there should have been a discount or a $20 off next time you stay with us, or something. Not happy at all about this.

The front desk staff is amazing

We arrived at change of shift 3pm. There were 3 people in the office and not one of them acknowledged we were standing right in front of them. They could of said, we will be with you in a moment. Nope we stood here until they were finished what they were doing.The other thing is the pillows. They were the worse..they were little sqatty sqare things that were so tall..Other then that I would stay there again.

Even though the lady checking me in was new, she was pleasent, efficient and great.

Check in attendant was very friendly and helpful. She clearly explained all the features and rules pertaining to our stay. Also pointed us to the door closest to our room for unloading the car. Overall a nice facility and will strongly consider MyPlace in the future.

Personally I love this place. I was treated with the utmost respect and kindness while having to deal with a family hardship. They accommodated multiple requests, some of those requests being last minute. And because of their friendly, very understanding staff, they were able to extend the ideal accommodations for my family. Myplace Meridian will be my only choice of stay when I come to Boise.

Close proximity to the Villages of Meridian.

A nice tidy place to stay, easy to access and near many shopping and food places.

We’ve stayed here several times over the last 2 years-not fancy, but suits our needs for a quick place to stop close to the freeway and our target destination.

Close to everything and clean.

Although the property is located near one of Idaho's busiest intersections, I found access to shopping, dining, etc. quite good.

This hotel is located in the heart of the town. there are several 10+ restaurants within walking distance and a great shopping mall as well. Anything and everything you can need is extremely close

Great location and had tons right around it. The road it was off made getting around meridian seamless.

Nice, quiet, clean & updated hotel. We were very happy how nice & comfortable the hotel is…nice location…near many restaurants and shopping and Meridian Mall. The fridge was full size with ice machine…hooray! Nothing fancy but had what we needed. Would highly recommend if you don’t need breakfast or pool at hotel.

It would have been nice to have a breakfast, or something in the room to use the kitchen to fix a breakfast, but the staff was good and the room comfortable.

They charged for pots and pans dishes and no breakfast was included unless you ordered the night before and paid for it

First time staying at this hotel and pleasantly surprised. Room clean and comfortable. Staff very professional and friendly. Full kitchen, I think, in every room provides great personal options. However, if you want to use the appliances make sure to bring your own kitchenware. Hotel does have “home” breakfast items for purchase to prepare and have in your room. Various off property dining not far away. Will definitely look for other My Place hotels for future stays.

Clean comfortable rooms and friendly staff. No breakfast is a bit of a bummer though. They do push the in house food and snacks instead which are not a bargain.

Perfect for a quick stop. No breakfast but Krispy Kreme in parking lot.

Was fine for our quick, overnight stay. Wish they had a breakfast option though.
