Q-Factory Hotel

Excellent place for us to stay at. Room was cute and perfect for what we needed. Only thing was there was no air conditioning and the bathroom was too dark. Lift also wasn’t working so had to lug our heavy suitcases up 6 flights of stairs. Housekeeping was done every day! Great place to stay for the price point.

Geräumige, saubere Zimmer. Ruhige Lage. Günstige Anbindung ans Zentrum durch ÖPNV. Angeschlossenes Parkhaus günstig.

The location is a bit far from the metro and all museums. The place was clean, but the walls are thin and the beds uncomfortable. It’s a okay place for a night or two. We rented bikes from the hotel and had to return them because they weren’t great. There is cafe/restaurant in the lobby which is convenient.

Excellent hotel. We’re a family of 4 and stayed in 2 rooms. We rented bikes and biked everywhere.

Never ever been to a hotel like this . When we orded we got a nice picture of a nice room .look wath we ended up with ! Waitet 25 minutrs for a key . 2 eleveaters to get to the room. And not and automatic one no no , have to press button and hold . Never never again .noth a clean room

It’s an unusual hotel. I drove up but the street side is well labeled Q Factory but the entrance is on the side a pedestrian only street. The style is a nice factory and with painted concrete floors and exposed cable trays and HVAC ducts above. The throw rugs look as they were purchased from second hand stores and the wheels of my luggage snagged them a few times. I had a room on the fourth floor and I should have listened to the directions to my room. The fourth floor is accessed not my the lobby elevator which has a 4th floor but I had to exit through the lobby of the 3rd floor and then down the hall to another lift to the 4th floor. The room had the factory feel to it. The bathroom was very attractive with large shower. My room had a small refrigerator and hot water pot i didn’t expect but I like. Not a lot of TV channels but a few English channels are there. Breakfast was worth the extra few Euros.

Enjoyable experience all in one: Parking, Shopping, Concert, Hotel, Breakfast and decent check-out time..

The position and facilities of the hotel were good. Nice bar, open space, good connections to transport links. The look and decor was brilliant. Breakfast was good and the staff were excellent. The room size and facilities were fine except no cooling/air conditioning. The room was incredibly hot (it was 30c during the day, and the window opened only a few centimetres. A fan would have been good as we couldn't close the window at night, due to heat but street noise and mosquitos were bad. We didn't really sleep- this spoiled the trip.

Super industrial style hotel that was next to a studio/stage. Incredibly cool experience at this hotel, with a nice cafe in the lobby. There were a few shows happening during our weekend stay but didn’t hear a single thing from our rooms! The staff were friendly and had daily room changeovers. Location is great for easy access to different tram lines and it felt very safe. Was also around a few shops to look through but overall super lovely!

Bathroom smelt like sewage, had to keep the doors closed so the whole room didn’t smell bad, and the light wouldn’t work in the bathroom so was pitch black when showering.

Betten und Handtücher waren super sauber - das Bad auch. Die Wände sollten einmal abgewaschen bzw gesäubert werden… Das Personal war sehr freundlich und wir konnten unser Gepäck einige Stunden bis zum Check-In unterstellen. Insgesamt ein prima Aufenthalt und weiter zu empfehlen 😊

Leider hat unser Zimmer schrecklich gerochen. Nach der Beschwerde bei Rezeption wurde gesagt, dass erst am nächsten Tag eine Reinigung stattfinden kann. Leider kam niemand.

The rooms like nothing like the pictures on the site, the rooms were dark, small and dirty and hadn’t been cleaned properly, there was mould and grime around the skirting seals and bogey on the wall, no appliances like a hairdryer and sink was on the outside of the bathroom that could only hold 1 person, the shower didn’t work and sprayed water up onto the ceiling, walls were like paper and could hear either side of us like there was no walls there

We had a great short stay at the Q-Factory. Room was clean and comfortable and we slept well. Staff were friendly. Great location with public transport links. The building was tidy and well kept. Don’t expect a traditional hotel because this ain’t it. The place is also a music venue with studios and offices, and it was buzzing with lots of people. Nice atmosphere. We would stay again.

Room was better then what I thought it would be! But there were some marks on the wall and hallway smelled a little of urine so those carpets might need a clean.

Hotellet var ok men badrummet luktade konstigt och det var mögel i kylskåpet vilket gjorde att vi inte kunde använda det plus att det vara väldigt kallt i rummet. Personalen var trevlig.

This hotel has false advertisement. In it's description it stated that the rooms were sound proof. That was a lie. We checked in and could hear the person next to us snoring and their TV. In addition the rooms in the pictures don't show the whole truth. The walls were filthy, the floor was concrete with a singular filthy rug. The balcony is shared with no lighting or camera which makes it feel unsafe. Other reviews have stated they've eeven had thefts from entry by the balcony. We checked out as soon as we found a new place to stay. The front desk person was very understanding of our complaints. He stated staff has tried to talk to the owner about the issues but they simply don't care. Luckily he was kind enough to refund our stay. I would avoid this place unless you're at a performance there and need to crash for the night.

Our room was overall clean, but we noticed quite a few stains on the walls, and there was a strange scent coming from the washroom—possibly from the drain or the scent diffuser. The room was small and compact, which worked fine for a short stay. A deposit was required for the hair dryer, and the soundproofing wasn't great as we could hear sounds from nearby rooms. Luckily, it stayed mostly quiet at night, so we were able to rest well.

Staff was good. Room wasnt the best cleaned, wasnt the best audio isolation of the rooms. Good beds.

Lovely stay. Hotel is not exactly near the main areas so had to get a tram in but this was easy enough. Room was lovely and spacious, clean and comfortable. Loved the big bath. Rooms don’t have a hairdryer despite saying they do, so recommend you take your own. Would stay again

The room was nice, but the noise isolation is not good, you can hear the people in the next room.

Location: 45 min walk to the red district (nice walk) otherwise train to Amsterdam central (confusion stations/ metro options) but technically convinient. Uber at night costs 40-60 eur to go back if trains are unavailable from central. Staff: after 18 hours of flying , I was hoping to PAY for an early check in. this was 12:30 pm, I was dismissed and not cared for. Not even a small chat to see why I needed the early check in. I arrived at 2:40, before check in time. Response from the front, so you are too early. Zero attention to customer service, very disservice, what would be a difference between a self check in, and a human at this point. Rooms: not well kept, very noisy, thin walls, and thing doors. You can hear everything. Housekeeping yelling at each other as well early in the morning. Quite annoying. Electric radiator. Zero amenities, no shampoo, no kits, this is barebones. No hairdryer. Around: nice residential are very cute and with hidden gem “the cottage” a restaurant nearby with uninterrupted service and amazing food options. There’s a gym nearby where you can get a day pass( front desk had no idea).

Loud banging all night long, booked a room with balcony which ended up being a shared balcony with 10 other rooms, this was not advertised online.

Was really clean and warm despite part of the hotel looking like a construction site (not sure if this was aesthetic or not). The room was very minimal/warehouse aesthetic. Quick and easy to get on local transport into the city. Only downside was that you could hear people walking (heavily!!) around quite clearly in the adjoining rooms. However, when there was a gig downstairs, we wouldn’t have even known because we didn’t hear it.

Sink Basin was located within the room which was a downside, and walls to rooms were very thin. Can hear everything. Other then that there were no issues in actual actual fact quite a nice hotel

nice hotel with good location close to city and good transport links but very minimal.Nothing useful in room like cups,cutlery or hairdryer. So if you would like to be prepared bring your own

Stayed here for 2 nights with my teenage daughter whilst visiting Amsterdam. The nearest train station is only a 4 minute walk to the hotel and then 1 stop to Amsterdam central which was easy to navigate. Plenty of amenities in the local area to the hotel for everything you need. Staff were really helpful and accommodating. I had initially worried about noise from the venue but this was never an issue. I would gladly stay here again and recommend to others.

Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was in a great neighbourhood and is an easy walk to Muiderpoort station which is only around a 4 minute train journey to Amsterdam Central station. I would definitely recommend a stay a Q-Factory Hotel.

Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war klein aber fein (Croissants waren immer warm und sehr lecker) und das Zimmer war voll in Ordnung. Die Tram, Bus und Züge sind auch schnell erreichbar. Mit dem Zug braucht man nur 5 Minuten ins Zentrum. Check in und out hat auch super und schnell geklappt.

I want some compensation for a disaster night! Someone else in our room when we after running up and down to fix the key! It didn’t work first time. Rude people in the reception! Not solving my problem that I almost miss my venue

Felt very safe, they could have better transportation instructions for non- locals. Staff are all lovely!!

Very cool interiors, staff very helpful and friendly. Location was a little out of town but we walked into the centre and back every day without issue [approx 50 minute walk].

This was a great stay. The location is quiet, cute, and with a lot of places to eat around. It is close to the train station.

Cool space! Very accessible and so many businesses and shops nearby.

Property was really quirky. Room was warm and clean and we got fresh towels every day. Great shower! Loved the bar and food was great. Staff were really friendly. Loved my stay.

Die Zimmer waren nur zum schlafen zu nutzen, das Waschbecken ist mitten im Zimmer, ungünstig wenn man nicht als Paar reist. Die Duschtür war die Dichtung defekt, sowie die Heizung funktionierte im Zimmer nicht. Obwohl das Fenster geschlossen war zog es permanent da die Zimmer über ein Abluftsysten verbunden sind. Die Wände sind sehr dünn, man hört nachts die Nachbarn sich unterhalten oder auf der Toilette sitzen und man versteht jedes Wort. Der Zimmerboden war reiner Beton, scheinbar mit Wasserschaden, da überall Flecken waren. Zum nur übernachten völlig ausreichend wenn man keine Ansprüche hat und viel unterwegs ist. Das Frühstück war sehr einfach aber ausreichend und in der Bar/Restaurant war das Essen sehr lecker. Personal ist freundlich, aber im Restaurant nicht aufmerksam.

Excellent stay in this hotel, close to the city centre and to a bike rental shop. Breakfast was also great.

Very noisy outside every night in an otherwise quiet neighbourhood. Local teens arguing loudly and revving car / motorcycle engines until 4 or 5 in the morning meant I could not sleep with window open, which was necessary as it was hot and the air con was not man enough to cool the room. Very basic fascilities, unhelpful staff in the restraunt. Would I go back? No.

Struttura in stile industrial, molto viva (nella struttura anche spazi per fare musica, studio di registrazione, etc). Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Camera "spartana" ma carina. Colazione sopra alle aspettative, non tantissima scelta ma tutto di qualità.
