Hampton Inn Omaha Airport

The staff was very welcoming. Unfortunately the elevator wasn’t working so we had to carry our luggage upstairs. (We’re 75 y/o) Breakfast was not going to be served in the morning. We left early so a cup of hot chocolate served the purpose.

Elevators were out and had to use the stairs, which is fine but don’t think the stairwell has ever been cleaned. The pool was also out of service. Front Desk were not very friendly.

The property was clean and convenient. We appreciated the shuttle, however, getting back to the hotel to pick up the car was difficult. We were not provided a property number to call for pickup. Other than that, the stay was good.

No elevator and I had to carry 2 bags upstairs with bad Back ..

The shuttle to the airport was convenient and made getting me and my family there on time easy.

Elevator was down but staff was awesome.

The place was clean breakfast was good. The elevator was broken when we checked in they said it would be fixed in a couple hours. Had to go to 3 rd floor due to health issues it was hard going up and down stairs. Caused cramping and discomfort in legs and feet. The lady who checked us out even said she could tell be watching me on steps.

The pool was not available disappointed for my kids

Internet did not work. Elevators did not work. Had to walk up 3 flights of stairs. C’mon! At least either give a discount or a free bottle of water out of your concern. You don’t care!

Very clean, nice room. Reserved a shuttle for airport, it showed up late. Apparently the elevator has been not working for about a month. Lots of bags to haul up steps.

This hotel is not well-kept. It was not clean. The hallways were dirty. The rooms were not what I expected for what I paid.

Room had medicine and food on the floor when we arrived. Bottom sheet and bed cover were stained. Bandaid fell out of the mini fridge when we opened it. Was quiet and convenient to what we were doing in town. Dissapointed after spending 300 dollars for one night!!

The hotel is immaculate and check in was a breeze.

Elevator didn’t work, had to walk 8 flights of stairs with 2 50 pound luggage’s. Dirty hotel room and sheets and the sink was literally disconnected from the vanity. Unreal.

The room was fresh and clean.

Room and bathroom was spotless. Wish we could have had more tissues.

Superb cleanliness of the room. Being near the airport it seems the halls a lobby got a lot of use, so a little more worn. Excellent breakfast options. Elevator a little slow.

We checked into the property on December 12th around 11:30, and the rooms were all nasty. We were given 2 rooms the first room was nasty and hadn’t been cleaned, the 2nd room which was handicapped was just as nasty. We were given a 3rd room which was clean, but pulled back the sheets and the beds were covered in pee stains. Terrible property I wouldn’t suggest it to anyone. 0 stars

The air conditioner is loud! It’s like I’m in a boiler room every time it kicks on and off!!

We usually love our stays at Hampton Inn but the mattresses at this location are not the normal soft ones, they are hard and it made for a rough night sleep. You also couldn't open the shade due to a missing pull string to let the morning light in

Prompt, courteous check in. Room was quiet and comfortable. Staff answered questions.

It is very close to the airport, which is convenient. The room we had was too warm (on a cold night) and the in room controls did not seem to cool it off. The pillows were worn out and the bed was not very comfortable. It seems a bit run down for a Hampton.

The place is nice and the staff makes it even better! GREAT people!!

Check in was less than desirable as I waited for someone to come for awhile. After she arrived at the desk, she asked my name and handed me a key. Didn’t check ID, didn’t verify a card or anything. I tried to enter a side door and the key didn’t work. I had to walk around the property to the front and verify the key works- she said the door just didn’t. I inquired about leaving my car at the hotel and taking the shuttle to the airport, she said you could but there were not cameras and vehicles get broken into and stolen there often. I did not sleep at all due to a combination of uncomfortable beds, worry for my vehicle, curious who may be coming through the door since my ID and personal info was never verified. Won’t be coming back.

I expect a FULL REFUND as we ended up going to another hotel! We were not told the elevators were not working and HAD BEEN DOWN FOR A WEEK OR SO! My husband and I are in our seventies and could not haul up our suitcases to the second floor especially with my husband’s heart problems! The check in gal met us when we pulled up sitting outside in the freezing cold smoking with her walker!!!! Will never book at that HAMPTON INN AGAIN!! Please start my refund!

The employees were not as professional as they should have been. The property staff had a much too casual and informal approach and the front desk always had a sign that they had stepped away. The laundry room was out of order. The keypad entry from the rear door was non operational for part of the time. The bathtub was very slippery and I almost fell. I had to use a towel to line the bottom.

Front desk service was exceptional. Toilet wouldn’t flush but fixed it. Breakfast good.

This property was horrible. My friends and I returned to the hotel after 11 but the door was locked and my key didn’t work. No one was at the front desk to let us in, even though we were knocking. We were finally able to get the door open and was finally greeted by the attendant and realized she was in the back the whole time with what sounded like the TV blaring. Obviously we went too happy that we were unable to get back in, but to our surprise neither was she. She called me a effing witch (replace the W with a B) under her breathe but said it to loud because I was able to hear it from 10 feet away. Then she ran to the back and closed the door. We again weren’t too happy that a “professional” decided to use profanity and a derogatory name and went back down to ask her why she thought that was acceptable. She came back out and said she wasn’t talking to us but her mom that was on the phone? We went back to our room cause we realized we weren’t going to get any accountability. A little while later we have a knock on our hotel door and when I answered it was a cop informing us we were getting kicked out because they said the attendant called them saying we were “aggressive.” They told me they were refunding me the full nights stay but I have yet to see it posted on my account. Avoid at all costs.

The staff were wonderful.

The night shift lady was sleeping and nobody could get help. The shuttle driver said he couldn’t get a hold of her either. The a/c unit in my room sounding like a jet engine. Couldn’t sleep. Remote was missing from room. When I got off elevator, the floor by the ice machine was all torn up and nasty to look at.

Best hotel by the airport. I have tied them all. Clean with comfortable beds. Close to downtown for restaurants and shopping.

Close to the airport. Only needed to sleep for a few hours before a very early morning flight, so couldn't partake of amenities.

This is a perfectly serviceable hotel conveniently located near the airport.

The hotel is close to the airport yet I don’t remember hearing planes (quiet). It is also close to Schwab Field. There’s a convenience store and restaurant (Perkins) within walking distance. The hotel and property was clean. The front desk staff were so nice and accommodating as were the shuttle drivers. They provided a shuttle to and from Schwab Field and the airport which was greatly appreciated. We did not need a vehicle the four days we were there! The only reason I gave 4 stars was for breakfast and the lack of a microwave in the room. It’s nice to have a fridge but it would be nice to have a microwave to heat leftovers in. The dining room had a good selection of food each morning but it was barely warm. Even the “hot” water carafe was barely warm. Again, a microwave in this area as well would allow guests to heat the food to their liking. Would definitely stay here again.

Convenient location near airport, good continental breakfast, nice room. Only problem one elevator was being fixed thd day we were there and loud people were congregating in parking lot. Hanging out and talking loud by the handicap parking- 4 to 6 people below out 4th floor room from 2:30-3am, so unable to sleep at that time. Otherwise, liked the hotel.

Great place to stay if you need something close to the airport. Breakfast was great.

This hotel has really nice amenities - complimentary snack & beverage at check-in, nice in-room toiletries, and the breakfast options were plentiful and delicious (including the coffee). The bed was comfy and clean. The hotel in general could use a refresh, carpet, etc. are a bit worn.

It was very clean, quiet and well maintained and it was a good price. When we got there, the front desk said we could go in the pool (they had just had repairs done and put chemicals in it). My kids and grandkids had been looking forward to this. When we got there, it was not heated at all. Only stayed 10 minutes and most of us didn’t get in. The breakfast sausage and potatoes were not good and the biscuits were as hard as a rock. I would stay there again but would not have the free breakfast.

Would have liked an early grab and go breakfast. Too early flight for the 6am breakfast.

We stayed here as it was close to the airport! Clean, friendly service, good free breakfast, comfy beds, overall excellent place to stay! I give it five stars!!

The front desk clerk was very nice and efficient and gave us free bottles of water. Our room was on the small side but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. However, the air conditioner was not working correctly which resulted in our room being warm and stuffy. We went down for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. and a lot of the items were out completely or were cold. The area was also a mess. There was spilled food everywhere.

Would like a bag breakfast offered for people taking early flights. Breakfast starts at 6 and we had to leave at 5:30. Would be nice to have a muffin or granola bar.
