Pretty irritating when the elevator doesn't work 3 of the 4 days you are there. Then on the last night they put someone above you with rowdy kids that jump up and down and run around all night. Asked clerk to have them settle down but it didn't

I did not like any thing about this property. The elevator did not work, the lobby had an odor to it. The pool was hazy and dirty. The staff barley spoke English. The breakfast was terrible and we were told that we would be charged $10 to take our breakfast to our room. If I had not already paid and couldn't get a refund we would have left. It is not convenient to anything you would want to do in town

The breakfast sucked, but the hotel was nice. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean and modern. The hotel towels were very used. The pool was nice and the work out room had nice equipment. The hotel snack bar was extremely under stocked and over priced. The elevator shut down, due to overheating? That was a scary thought.

Elevator didn’t work properly and the employees said it’s been malfunctioning for a while. Not safe at all. My wife and mother law we scared as it would pass up our floor, then go back down to the bottom and miss our floor again and would shiver and shake as well. The bathroom sink had a crack in it. the telephone wires and cable wires coming out of a hole in the wall.

I had two rooms, one for 3 nights and one for 2 nights. I was supposed to have the 3 nights and my employee the 2 nights. When we checked in, we didn't discuss which room was for which and so on the third night they made me pay for an additional night even though it was their mistake to not check with us which room should be with which person. The manager was obstinate and was supposed to call me about the matter this monday, but never did. Finally and this matter less to me but there was a dead roach at the front door upon entry and a live german cockroach in my room's bathroom. There was hair behind the door in the bathroom and also when I moved the night table next to my bed, it was really gross and dirty. Bed was nice, breakfast was fine.

Room had roaches. Never in my life have a stayed at a hotel that had roaches. No one was at the front desk when I left to tell them they should exterminate. I’m pretty forgiving about hotels, but roaches I can’t deal with.

Our room was right by the side door. Anytime people came in or out, the door would slam and wake us up. Our tub had a spider in it and was spider web and spiders was behind the bathroom door. Seems like nobody cleans there

Our room was clean and smelled very clean. We only stayed overnight so the only reason I gave 4 stars for service is because I wanted to check out and no one was at the front desk. They said to leave your key if you didn’t want a receipt, but I kinda did want one. I couldn’t wait so I just left my key. I will definitely stay there next time.

They moved us to another room in the room had a smell. The shower curtains were very dirty. The ceiling had molded and a patch on the top and the AC didn’t work at all like there’s no way that you can control it so we were uncomfortable the whole night one of the beds have blood on it so we had to lay on top of the covers on the other bed. Forgot to take pictures that was bugs in the sink when we woke up the next morning I don’t know what kind of bugs they were. The floors were kind of sticky so you always had to keep your slippers on in the room and then there was stains white stains on a blue couch that was in the corner or a chair that’s in the corner

Netflix app didn't work. Bed was not comfortable most on the hard side. The pillows are the cheap kind that have no density to it or fluffiness to it. I woke up with a sore neck. They could've done better on the pillows at least.

Have stayed here before. There were some cosmetic items which I can overlook. The bed was comfortable. The room had a slight musty smell which wasn’t bad, just there. The real problem was the shower which had almost No pressure, my wife had problems getting the shampoo out of her hair.

This hotel was less than exemplary. Rude front desk staff. Ice machines didn’t work. Elevator was down for 24 hours and I had a handicapped person with me who had to walk up and down the stairs. There were cracks in the walls that were seemingly taped up and our mini fridge took 2 days to work. We were to leave early and gave the front desk 24 hours notice to have our refund ready the next day. When it came to check out she refused to check us out early and would not give a refund with no manager on duty when there was a big sign saying the MOD was always there. The manager would not come in to take care of this. This was not only a problem with our stay, but multiple other families as well. We travel a lot and we will not be back.

Service was amazing! Upon checking into my room, I experienced problem with the television. I brought the matter to the from desk and she immediately went to remedy the problem. Unfortunately the problem could not be solved so she moved me right away to a new room. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, cleanliness of the property was very much satisfactory. I truly enjoyed my stay!

Horrible management and staff! I had a family emergency a death! The refused to cancel my reservation and charged my card,! I even tried to call several times and they claimed they would call back and didn't.. These people are ridiculous!

Will give you a hard time when you’re bringing your service animal breaking a couple of federal law by insisting you show identification by law they’re not allowed to ask anything besides is it a service animal and what services does it provide? And after showing them proper paperwork, they still charged me the pet fee employee should be better trained on federal laws of service animals

Property staff (Jessica) was very rude upon our arrival. Hotel door was completely open when we got to our room. Staff became confrontational when we asked for a blanket. Room was not cleaned by housekeeping nor were we given fresh towels. Verbally insulted by frontdesk staff. Never have we experienced anything like this! Would not recommend.

Extremely clean and nice. Very large room very large bed, very large bathroom. Breakfast was amazing, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, bagels and cream cheese. I hurt myself with food and coffee. The customer service was exceptional. The staff was helpful, I left my wallet in the room and Ms. Priya went back to the room and found it and called me. She was amazing for that, I left a message for her manager as well. Expedia has been an amazing website, I stayed in some pretty nasty places this week so beware but this one isn't it. I had to leave early and Expedia gave me a refund with no hassles. I'm still fighting with Travelocity over a cancellation that was completely within their advertised policy and they never contacted the hotel to let them know so the room would've been unavailable if I didn't do it. Thank you Expedia, and a bigger thank you to Ms. Priya!

Mostly the stay was fine. No huge complaints other than breakfast was a complete missed opportunity. I know I was not the only one that was dissatisfied with morning breakfast. I heard the waffle maker took forever and people were just stacking up waiting in a line to make theirs. Some others complaining of things that had ran out very quickly like syrup, coffee and a few other things. I was limited on what I could have but I did try to have cereal but turned out the milk had gone bad. Also, the regular coffee would have been a Total issue for me If there had not been an espresso option. I ended up using that as my coffee since the other was so weak and it looked like tea.

I found the breakfast substandard due to the fact that there was no dedicated staff for the kitchen. I found the entire facility was understaffed which caused the desk person to worked the kitchen which in turn left much to be desired. The breakfast items were often cold and they ran out of many of the breakfast items for the guests. When we first got to our room the small refrigerator was emitting a terrible smell so they had to give us another room. I for one will not be booking another stay here should I find a need to stay in West Lake LA. One last thing, the trash cans outside near the entrance were overflowing with trash for two days, before they were emptied.
