Booked this property because it's close to Sofi Stadium. when we arrived waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for shuttle bus at night. you have to call them, and turn on your roaming, they dont have whats app or connivence way to contact them. advised us it will be a white bus pick up us in 10-15 minutes. however waited 1 hour and half no white bus came. property is very old, sound proof is very bad, I can hear people walking and moving stuff above my floor. concierge is inpatient. lots of supplies they dont have when you ask. if you can find a place with similar price dont choose to stay here

Staff was nice. Only 1 elevator in operation, and severely delayed us during peak hours (no signage that was out of order). Asked for room to be cleaned, but no follow through. Breakfast food tasted like cardboard. Clothing iron leaking water. Safe was malfunctioning and partially damaged. Pay for self-parking is pathetic. Stayed here in 2017 and quality was much better. Greed and operational inefficiencies resulting in lower quality and less than good guest experience. Finding a new hotel in my next visit to LA.

Staff were pleasant and polite; only complaint was when we tried to access free shuttle from airport. Got three run around from the central booking number…took 20 minutes and instructions were vague. Finally cabbed it. Found out later that the vans were not identifying. They had no hotel name and they had to be arranged. Had we been told that when I called it would have made all the difference. Otherwise the hotel was comfortable

This rapid decline of this hotel has been astonishing. I have stayed here multiple times over the years first for work theb pleasure and it was a fine hotel until recently. In a word, it is now terrible. With the exception of one woman, the front desk staff was unfriendly, unhelpful with lots of attitude. The second elevator was STILL broken a month after my last visit resulting in long waits every time you needed to go to and from your room and the one working elevator reeked of pot. At check-in, the front desk announced there would be no regular housekeeping service unless I made a special request despite the fact I was staying 3 nights. When I got to my room the card key did not work so I had to wait for the elevator 2 more times to come back up with a very nice young man from maintenance who opened the door. Inside, the entire room just didn't feel clean but especially the bathroom which came complete with black and brown mold and mikdew stains all over the shower ceiling. The hotel bot "Cam" kept texting me asking if my stay was okay and what could be done to improve it. I replied about the bathroom and sent a photo of the ceiling. I never got any response. The next morn I called the front desk and asked for the room to be made up and was told only "light housekeeping" was available which translated to leaving new towels and taking the trash out. When I got back that night the trash had not been taken out and a pile of towels were left on the sink. DO NOT STAY HE

Only 1 elevator working. Extended wait times. Dated decor. Charge for everything- parking, breakfast. No complimentary coffee - pay for breakfast only. Beds not very comfortable, bed frame stuck out and was easy to knock ankles/leg against. Would not recommend.

I really enjoyed staying here. Had to give 4/5 stars for overall because the cleanliness of my room was not the best. I opened the refrigerator and there was an old drink in there for idk how long. There were some drink sticky spots on the table under the TV. And there were hair strands in the bed before sleeping on it.

Our room was incredibly dirty, staff weren’t very knowledgeable during check in. There was someone’s used bar of soap left in the shower upon arrival, only half a roll of toilet paper in the room, multiple hairs on the beds, and dirty floors. The location was great, easy access to parking lot and close to LAX and a lot of great shops and restaurants nearby.

1. Maintenance walked into the room without knocking, luckily we were decent. Left us uneasy the rest of the stay. 2. Shampoo bottle was empty, requested refill and for towels and coffee as well, no response. When housekeeping finally came two days later, they still didn't refill the bottle. 3. Reserved a suite. Arrived at 5pm, no rooms available. Switched me to a regular room, did not refund the difference in price, gave me a free breakfast buffet instead. 4. Shower line drain was clogged, had to take quick showers so that the shower wouldn't overflow. 5. No trash liners, cans were gross. 6. Shower was mildew-y and dirty. 7. Front desk staff was nice, considering what they were having to deal with. 8. Bed was clean.

My $100 was deducted from my gift card balance but not actually used towards my hotel bill as it should have been so I paid more than expected. Bath tub needed some deep cleaning and you had to request cleaning services every single day which is not a convenience at all. But the lobby scent was the best I have ever smelled and it made my stay that much more pleasant.

I’ve stayed at the Cambria in Anaheim before and it has always been a pleasant stay. In the other hand my stay at Cambria LAX was not so great, the room seemed a bit rough. The lights didn’t work we had to use the lamps from the night stand and dresser. Curtains were dirty and looked old. The bathroom had some mold around the corners of the wall and the sink faucet had white rust. Other than that their airport parking service was good I parked there for 18 days.

Overall the hotel was nice. Staff were great - very friendly. However, the beds were OVERLY soft. Almost unbearable. If you like super soft beds, this is the hotel for you. If not, book somewhere else. Also, the shower glass was too short for the powerful shower head. The bathroom floor was soaked each time I showered… with the towel down.

The staff was all very helpful and friendly, but the rooms are noisy. The room behind my headboard had a TV going till midnight and later tonight and because there’s no carpeting in the room, which I do like, when people drag their suitcases and walk around and shoes it is very loud. The pool sitting area was outside of my room, So it was quite loud till after 10 I had to call all three days I stayed there and the assistant manager did comp me a meal, but it should’ve been more

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I arrived at 10 p.m., but was arrogantly told to wait an hour because the room wasn’t ready. When I rightfully complained, they said, “If you have a complaint, tell Expedia. If you keep complaining, we’ll cancel your reservation,” in a very condescending and overbearing manner. The staff here are truly the worst.

I’ve stayed here several times and the service was much better on those stays compared to this time. We’ve always been allowed to check in an hour early but this time we couldn’t without paying $50 since “none of the rooms were cleaned” so we’d have to pay them to prioritize our room. I think the lie offended me more than the price did. Well, that and her condescending manner of telling me about not being able to check in. We went to Manhattan Beach - highly recommend. Anyway, came back a little over an hour later and all of a sudden all the rooms were ready - for us and another 20 reservations. Then we get in the room - no bath soap, not enough towels, less than half a roll of to, etc. We had to go to the desk to get towels & tp. After the 2nd day we requested room service and still no bath soap or hand towels. Not major but the attitude from the front desk receptionist just made it feel personal. I’ve managed hotels before. Guest service is the most important differentiator. I’ll definitely stay at Aloft next time.

We had a reservation ahead of time. When we arrived at 8pm to check-in, the reception lady told us the room will not be ready for another hour as it is not clean. We asked if she can give us any other available room. She said there is no room available in the entire hotel. Can you believe this? When asked to talk to a manager, she said there was no manager to talk to! This is very unfortunate and frustrating. They didn’t even inform us ahead of time that the room will not be ready until late night. This is very bad customer service and unacceptable. I regret picking this hotel and don’t recommend it to anyone.

This hotel considering that this is a hospitality service failed to provide WARMTH, EMPATHY, and HOSPITALITY. Front desk: Arrived last Friday early in the morning (around 2am) due to a 3hr flight delay. This trip has been PAID via Expedia and was already reflected in my credit card. When we arrived, the female front desk staff said that the room we paid for is not available and we are to be given a room (cheaper) than what we paid for since we checked in late. This is already PAID, so the room should not be given to anyone (we are staying for 5 nights). She told us the room we are getting is just for that 1 day and we can receive the actual room we paid for the following day. Imagine transferring all your stuff. She gave us the key for the 1st flr room. The key wouldn’t work because guess what, the ROOM WAS OCCUPIED by someone else. To add more insult, after sev she said that the room we paid for is now ready. No EMPATHY. NOT HOSPITABLE at all. The same female front desk staff rode in the elevator with us and was giving us a bad look. FACILITY: Only 1 of the 2 elevators were working the whole time. Imagine how busy the hotel was and we had to wait (there were 6 flrs.) ROOM: The BED WAS HORRIBLE. Our backs were shrinking since the bed was overused and so soft to the point it had to be changed. But of course, this hotel doesn’t care. The carpets were filthy and the counters and tables were full of dust. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!!!!

This hotel is designed for flight crews, not business or personal travelers. When we got there from the airport at 10:14 p.m. to check in, the front desk told us there was "a one hour wait for check in," and with no explanation or apology told us to wait in the lobby. After seeing 2-3 pairs of flight crews check in, I went back to her and asked if we could check in now, and she said, "no, those are flight crews. I'll let you know when you can." 20 minutes later about 40 Chinese flight attendants come pouring out of the elevators, then go take their bus to the airport. When I was finally like, "what the heck is going on?" the rude lady at the front desk was like, "Well, we have to clean their rooms, and we only have one housekeeper." About 15 minutes after that (now 11:40), she says, "You're room's ready" and hands us the keys. Turns out it was a double, not the king we'd reserved. There was zero offer of any apology or compensation. And though we stayed there two days, no housekeeper came by to clean the room or even replenish the coffee. I would recommend staying away from this horrible spot, and leaving it to the flight crews.

Hotel is very clean, room spacious and modern, quiet with a nice outdoor pool area. The area itself has no real interest - it's 15min from the airport, about 25min to Santa Monica. Parking is a bit expensive and receptionist could be a little more welcoming but apart from that, it was a pleasant stay

The hotel and around it were great. Good location, quite and safe. However, I did not like the ideo of not having a free parking for their guests, and the parking fee was really high. Cheaper were garages at the Veniece beach.

The staff here are extremely kind, the property is clean and well kept, the area is nice and has a fair few dining options (including good coffee just around the corner) and the front area is beautifully sun-drenched if you need to perch up and do some work. It’s also super close to LAX with free transport to/from the airport. We’d definitely stay again

The airport shuttle was easy to find and the dispatch was responsive to my calls. They picked me up very quickly. I was assigned a room on a floor that was not clean. I requested another room and was upgraded to a room with an AC unit that was broken and a phone that didn't work. The room was clean and once I learned how to get the heater to work, I was very comfortable. When I reported these issues, I was given a free breakfast voucher as an accommodation for the inconveniences. The breakfast was good and the service even better. Overall it was a good stay.

Overall this hotel is great for an overnight stop at LAX. It is safe and clean. The front of house staff were quite rude. The person at the bar was lovely. She made sure everyone was looked after with drinks while also having to serve meals. I would stay there again next time we are in LAX.

Great location, great staff, spacious room. We had excellent service in the restaurant which has a very basic menu. Food was good and reasonably priced. Only complaint besides the non existent free shuttle is that it would have been nice to have some creamer in our fridge for coffee. My overall rating would be a 5 if it wasn’t for the misinformation about the free shuttle. when I called to check on how to book the free airport shuttle, the guy who answered spent over 5 minutes collecting data for the reservation I had already made which it turns out was an up-sell for choice hotels. He then informed me that they don’t offer a shuttle and told me I had to make my own way. I spent another 10 minutes discussing this with him and explaining this is one of the reasons we booked here. He said that since I booked through a 3rd party, it was not accurate and basically chastised me for not booking direct. Please be aware if you book for this reason. It was incredibly disappointing. A taxi from the airport was $27 which was $12 cheaper than Uber. So disappointing as there is so much to live about this place.

We stayed 1 night to be close to LAX for a flight the following day. We arrived just after 6:00pm and 2 out of the 4 rooms we booked were not ready yet so we had to split up on different floors. We were advised that the previous night was a full house so they were not finished cleaning all the rooms yet. When we went to our rooms, they were not very clean - there were crumbs on one counter, and there were cup marks or spill marks on numerous counters which may be stained into the finish but appeared dirty. There needs to be more deep cleaning or re-finishing the counters so it doesn't look dirty. The hotel restaurant is severely understaffed - service was super slow and not friendly but the food was good when it arrived. A brief conversation with the server confirmed that they often only have 1 server and front desk said there was only 1 chef and the restaurant was fairly full which according to the server happens regularly or often even more busy. There were not dining options a short walk away as we were travelling with young kids and had no vehicle but if you want to walk a little further then there are other options. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

Front desk staff pleasant. Housekeeping never cleaned the room for 3 night stay. The wooden bed frames were dangerous, as I scrapped my shin and calf. Breakfast buffet was subpar, food was barely warm and food was not replenished,even though 1 hour was remaining.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Bar staff was accommodating for our last minute order for dinner right before the kitchen closed. Our only complaint was that coffee took over 15min to get and breakfast took over 40min to get. Staff was polite but run a bit ragged trying to serve all the tables. Maybe some management organization would have helped them. Minus that room was clean, bed was comfortable and AC worked great. We chose this hotel based off room rate and were pleased.
