Great staff. We stayed 3 nights. They were doing renovations so I assume including new beds. Our first bed was too soft. Staff changed room and made up for inconvenience by offering points . Good breakfast.

The room was perfect! The beds were amazing! The staff was outstanding!! Miss Lizzie checked me in and we laughed and had a great time!! So pleasant! A beautiful soul...The breakfast offerings were perfect; try the pancake maker for sure!!! This hotel is still under renovation but you would never know it. Quiet, clean and a perfect stay!! Right across the street from the Ice Arena which means I'll be backkkkkkkkkkkk!! With pleasure. Thank you for an excellent stay!!!

Overall a great stay. The check in and check out process was simple and the front desk ladies were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good with plenty of options. The room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again. Only feedback was that one elevator was broken- they need to fix that and that they didn't have pool towels and there were huge dumpsters right outside the pool gate I would think should be moved to a more discrete area. Otherwise, great stay.

The place is best and safe with ample parking. Hot breakfast every morning. Meeting rooms and conference center. Well kept lobby. Only thing inconvenient was - we were hoping a 2-3 hrs late check out due to a recent surgery of one our family members but they could accommodate only 1 hour late checkout. We ended up waking up the patient and walked him straight to car and left.

It was a nice hotel. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they are renovating and during the day there was a LOT of noise from the works which was sometimes annoying when trying to catch a nap. We did ask to move rooms when we arrived because it sounded like they were working right above us. The pool area is nice, but two things of concern. The pool isn't heated so it can seem a bit cold even on hot days and there is NO shade to be found anywhere by the pool after 12:30 pm or so. It was sunny our whole stay so you couldn't lay out long before feeling like you were roasting to death. Overall we had a good stay, but there are a few thing to watch out for.

The property was “under construction” but we didn’t see a single person working in construction in the 5 day we were there. Trashcans near elevators were disgusting covered in food and overflowing. Food and paper on floors in front of our room for 5 days- guess they don’t have housekeeping?There was one lovely staff member that was so sweet and bright and cheerful but the rest clearly hate what they do. Poorly managed and not what I expected from a holiday inn.

The staff was very nice and friendly. Breakfast was great with a nice variety of things. Lobby was nice and clean. Once we got off the elevator towards the room it smelled kind of musky. Bed was comfortable and i appreciated that there were no carpet in the room. However, our bed cover had faint stains and our pillows had no covers. We only rented for one night because we were attending a family function. Since we arrived late to the room and we were exhausted, we didn’t realize the stains and missing pillow cases until we woke up this morning. It wasn’t the worst experience, but it was the best.

I have stayed here a few times and this stay was extremely disappointing. We had 2 rooms. The first one wasn’t even cleaned. There was toothpaste in the sink, hair on the counters and it was obvious counters and desk etc..were not wiped down. The chaise was disgusting. In the other room one of the beds the sheets were dirty. When we talked to the person at the desk before 9p he brushed it off and could have cared less. We left and when we came back the young gentleman there was wonderful. He said there were no rooms to switch to and so I requested cleaning supplies so I could help my sister clean her room and clean sheets for my room. He was very helpful and kind and compassionate. We shouldn’t have to clean our rooms or change sheets though. We got in on a late flight and just wanted to be able to relax. I am embarrassed that I recommended this hotel to my sisters for us. The last times I stayed it was phenomenal. Clean and staff were very helpful and kind. It was a huge disappointment to see how little effort was put in to cleanliness and compassion to guests. The only saving grace was the gentleman on the overnight shift.

Hotel was clean, modern, with a nice lobby area to hang out at if desired. Room was spacious and well appointed with generous lighting, a bathroom with a modern shower and stocked with Dove products. My stay at this Hotel was an amazing experience for me and my family. First time in the Tampa area. Chose this hotel because of the great location near many stores and restaurants. The staff was super friendly and Helpful. We decided to stay an extra night and it was the best thing we could’ve done. We loved the breakfast in the morning. Rooms were super clean and spacious. I would definitely choose this place again. A+

AC unit was very noisy and I had to have maintenance come and fix it. The fix was temporary as the next day it was back to being loud. I did not attempt to call again so I improvised by turning the unit on & off when the room got cold.

Stay was top tier! Had a lil mixup checking in but the the front desk clerk got it situated! I can say however if you have small kids or want to bring any kind of game system their WiFi is challenging to connect to! Other than that I would recommend to anyone! Good Job HIE

Great staff, great location, great rooms with nice beds. But the internet was awful, just about unusable. I know I'm on vacation, but if you have to do anything on the internet, it's almost impossible. This is not acceptable for a Holiday inn. It wouldn't have been so bad if the area had decent cell service, not Holiday inn's fault, but with the bad cell service trying get info about anything in the area was very frustrating.

They have the nicest staff I've ever encountered at a hotel. Everyone was pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was very good and offered a variety of items. The rooms were spacious and the blackout rolldown shades were amazing. Could have been a little cleaner, but overall, very pleased.

The room was good. However, several employees were incompetent. The breakfast lady did nothing but complain and felt was no food for them she had to tell several guests there food for and that the people before them ate too much. The second employee, a reception clerk, literally had her car parked at the drive-up awning all day instead of letting guests pull up to check in. The third employee had to be woken up when we were checking out early morning.

This hotel was absolutely fantastic. The staff were superb. They were pleasant, professional and polite. The room was exquisite and very clean. I definitely will came back again. I would like to add that Zee was and is always amazing. She makes sure that you are satisfied at every turn. She has assisted my family many times when we had to alter our plans, be it adding a night or departing early. Thanks Zee for greeting us every morning when we're heading out for the day. My husband checked in and paid for the room and after we paid they advised us they did not accept pets, not even emotional service dogs. We then asked for a refund to find another hotel and refused. Left with no refund and completely in shock. If you have a emotional support dog NEVER NEVER EVER stay at that facility!!!

It's hard to get to this property from nearby restaurants and to the restaurants. You have to drive a few miles just to get across the busy highway 54. It's cool the hockey arena is right next door. As for the hotel the beds are too tall especially if you have back, hip, or leg problems. Breakfast was great.

Breakfast service was just horrible. At 9:20 am on Sunday, was nothing left and we asked many times to refill and get something, but no response. He handle a plain bagel in my hand from the bag, instead to put more in the plate. No bananas, no yogurt, no bread, no cheese cream, nothing. Bad attitude toward us, and we were able to hear a discussion inside the kitchen with a Manager, I guess. No room service, more than towels. They left a sign that they were short of staff. Don't understand how that happened in a busy weekend at Tampa area. Hotel looked new and nice, but service wasn't.

I don't think the room was fully cleaned from the previous visitor and had to move to a different room. The second room was fine. The breakfast wasn't that good and the bagels and eggs were still hard/stiff from being previously frozen.
