Hot tub broken

While not intending to be overly critical, it is reasonable to assume that guests, particularly those staying at a hotel chain of this caliber, anticipate amenities such as a satisfactory breakfast, a well-maintained pool, and, in many cases, a functional jetted hot tub. During this three-night stay, these expectations were not met. Upon arrival, a notice indicated that the hot tub jets were non-operational. It would have been beneficial to have been informed of this issue during the initial inquiry regarding pool area hours at the front desk. The response received indicated the issue had been ongoing with no estimated resolution timeline. This situation is disappointing, as the availability of a functioning hot tub is a significant factor in enhancing the guest experience. No compensation was offered, nor necessarily one that I could think of for this type of disappointment. Breakfast was pleasant, and the rooms and property seemed safe and clean. Again, I was just so disappointed by the hot tub situation. If this is an amenity that is a must for you, you might want to contact the property ahead of booking, as there are plenty of other hotels of this caliber nearby

Hotel was very clean! Beds very nice; lots of extra pillows. Breakfast was amazing & had a large variety; dining area large & spread out so you weren’t bumping into others. Exercise room was small. Only had 1 of each option. So you couldn’t bike or walk at the same time with someone. Hot tub was hot but jets broken and this was why we booked here. Disappointed, wasn’t on website as an issue. The room was very large; we had the King with sleeper sofa and the mattress was too thin! You could feel all the bars painfully so.

We stayed for 8 days. We will definitely stay again when in the area. Rooms were spacious and clean. All employees were pleasant. Breakfast was great (eggs, sausage, waffles etc.). The hot tub was out of order while we were there. The heated pool was nice but semi warm. Overall a fantastic hotel.

Pool was over chlorinated or under ventilated when we first arrived. Had to open outside door. Pool towels must be stocked once a day in the morning and once they are gone, they are gone. Everything else was good.

Upon checking into our room, we found 2 different kinds of bugs crawling in the bathroom - on the wall and on the toilet. We went to the front desk and asked for a different room. The attendant gave us a new room which happened to have a bunch of lady bugs crawling on it. The whole thing was very weird, we would not stay here again. The pool needs to be cleaned badly. Very murky and also freezing cold.

The beds were some of the best I've ever slept in, and the staff was second-to-none. Great dining options as well. When I visited on this particular day, the hot tub heater was out, so we couldn't really try it out. The pool was good (and surprisingly warm), however it was smaller than it appeared in the photos. Overall a great stay, but I would say that the price was rather high for what we got; by comparison, the Omaha Marriot Downtown has more amenities and a nicer atmosphere than Comfort Suites for about the same or slightly more money (depending on the day; Comfort appears to jack up their prices by almost three-fold on the busiest weekends, whereas other days it's much cheaper).

Got to town early due to weather concerns and I was able to check in early. The room was a comfortable size and the bathroom was updated nicely. Breakfast was convenient (fresh fruit would be nice). Enjoyed using the pool and hot tub (hot tub was at the perfect temperature!)

The pool was nasty slimy and the water was cloudy. The hot tub had too many chemicals in it and burned my eyes. The whole reason for booking was so we could enjoy the pool and hot tub ruined our evening.

Quiet and well kept. Pool was nice. Jets in the hot tub weren't working, but everything else was great. Walking distance to multiple dining options.

Found a dirty towel hanging over the shower rod in my room when I arrived.

Upper corners of sink were dirty, refrigerator set on 1 froze everything, lotion dispenser was empty, first night fire alarm awoke everyone-overheard employee tell firemen the alarm has malfunctioned recently, firemen advised to have it repaired. Breakfast was 1-star at best - we chose Summer Kitchen Nextdoor. This location is very disappointing. The grandchildren asked if we could change hotels.

The room smelled pretty bad/musky. The room was dirty and had stains on the beds. When we went to unfold the couch bed for our kids the moment we took the cusions off the amount of nasty stains under the cusions was vomit inducing. I wouldnt stay here again. These issues are where bed bugs thrive.

Room was not clean!! Toilet was filthy!! Got moved to another room which has wall paper peeling all over!

Staff closed pool area, but allowed workout room to remain open for another guest. We had just spent 8 hours in the car and wanted to relax. The hot tub was disgusting, dirty and foamy, pool was ok. Decent breakfast. Shower in room was moldy and rotten in corners.

We missed breakfast by minutes. Staff let us go back in for some yogurt and coffee. Very nice.Our room was right by the elevator . Not a quiet area. Woke up in the morning with a bed bug in my coffee cup. I took it to the front desk as I checked out. Lobby is clean and are smells good Carpet in rooms are dated. Doors are pretty scratched up. Hotel needs some TLC

The bed had somebody’s clump of hair in it in multiple areas. You can’t tell me the housekeeper didn’t see that… and the bathroom was not that clean. You could tell they just quickly wiped down but didn’t get the shower good that was nasty. Bed was rock hard. Checking in that night the girl at the counter definitely didn’t want to be there. Morning of check out was easy and that girl was way nicer. Really disappointed in this stay.

It was easy to find this hotel, the staff was super friendly, big breakfast space, the only down side was we found trash when we got into our room like in the drawer and under bed(we store suitcase there) and in the pool area they aren’t strict on their rules so people bought in tons of food and drinks and by the end of my stay there was a TON of ants everywhere in there. The room itself was overall super clean and cosy. It was a great stay. We will stay again.

Our room was not very clean. We had a huge stain on the carpet in our room. The bath tub/ shower had brown stains on the bottom. Our room just had an old feeling to it. For the $200 price range, I was not very happy.

Nice hotel! Pretty clean! The beds weren’t the best, and my kids were disappointed that there were no smart TV’s in the rooms to watch anything. I’m not sure it was worth the price I paid, but all in all a good stay!

The room was clean and comfortable but noisy from the floor above and people in the hall. My two interactions with hotel staff were both bad. When checking in i had to stand at the reception desk for several minutes while the clerk worked on some paperwork without even acknowledging i was there. I had to check out a day early to avoid a snowstorm and the assistant manager was unwilling to budge on "their policy of needing 24 hour notice for any early departure ".

The room was clean, roomy, and quiet. The bed was comfortable.

The room was spacious for my family. The room was clean and the beds were so comfortable. I've stayed in a lot of hotels, and these beds and pillows were perfect for a good nights rest. The area of the hotel was clean and easy access. We enjoyed the breakfast and the pool!

Reservation for king bed and they put us in a handicap room no tub. Not what we asked for.

We had a problem with the closet in our room-the doors were locked so we were unable to hang our dress clothes that we had brought for a wedding that weekend.

Booked a suite for my family of 5. This stay had great promise with friendly staff upon arrival. After returning for the evening we quickly discovered extremely loud industrial noises every couple of minutes. We tried to turn up the television to distract the littles but it didn’t solve the issue. Upon calling the front desk we were advised we were by the elevators and ice machine. They apologized for the noise but advised there were no other rooms. They didn’t offer any other remedies, discount etc. It was difficult to get the kids to settle and did wake up during the night a couple of times. Overall was pretty disappointed that we were not advised of this noise issue or offered a fair solution. Wouldn’t recommend for families.

The rooms are advertised as suites but, there are not. The room was nice size with 2 full size beds. There is a sitting area with a small sectional. The sleeping and sitting areas are separated by a wall approximately 4-5 feet high thus, there is no privacy at all. There is only one TV, positioned where it can be viewed from either bed and from the sitting area. The breakfast was very good and the staff was highly professional. Lastly, the property appears to be relatively new but, the furniture looked to be second hand.

the hotel was clean. the beds should be replaced soon. everyone that I talked to-had a sore back after sleeping on the beds. the sheets were wonderful and so were the pillows. the towels were bigger, so that was nice. had to ask for the room to be cleaned on day 2 (I miss the old days). the breakfast was pretty standard-imitation eggs, the sausages (links & patties) were ok-not hot though. the biscuits & gravy were good. the bacon on Monday morning (we stayed 3 nights) was good. the waffles were good. the OJ was good, but the Cranberry cocktail was very watered down. breads & toast were pretty basic. Sunday there was 2 types of potatoes-they were pretty good. the coffee was instant brew, so I didn't have any of that-I like slow brewed coffee. there was plenty of teas & hot cocoa & fresh water with lemon all day. the front day staff was nice and so were the housekeeping ladies, but the afternoon/night time clerk was either new & not sure of her job or just didn't care how she talked to customers, and she never smiled. when I asked her questions, she always had to go back & talk to her manager-whom I never actually saw or heard. the pool was ok-cloudy-but the kids had fun. the hot tub, which had been recently repaired-foamed up a lot-even after that afternoon/night time clerk put that anti-foam solution in. it was very hot and the jets were great. overall, our stay was good. can't give the place a solid 9 or 10. They needed to improve a few things & not worth the $154 a night.

There was seldom a staff person at front desk. When there was they did not greet customers coming and going. They only provide room service every 3 days. For the amount they charge this is unacceptable. We had to ask for towels, etc. it was an unfriendly atmosphere.

No one was at the desk to check us in for 5 or 10 minutes.

Staff was cordial and helpful. I left something important behind and the gentleman at the front desk retrieved it for me and kept it safe for my return. Breakfast was very good. Room was clean and comfortable.

The whole stay was a complete joke, we were “ kicked out” of our hotel at 11 at night from a very unprofessional guy that we hadn’t ever seen for no reason, as they said we were drunk and loud when we left the cops gave us all breathalyzers and we all were sober and proved it. I will definetly be contacting higher ups to get a full refund, we are yearly stayers at this and bring a nice size group with us part of our friends we’re not even present at the hotel and got kicked out I will be leaving a bad review on line and contacting whoever I can for further bad reviews it was the worst experience we have ever had at a hotel

Walked in and immediately saw a sign that said HOTTUB HEATER BROKEN on the front counter. Said something thing to the effect of “That’s disappointing, that was one of the perks that brought us to this hotel”. The gal at the front counter responded with “If you’re disappointed, I can offer you a free cancellation”. I didn’t ask for a discount or reparations, but I thought that this response was a bit inappropriate. Otherwise, the hotel was just OK. Expected better considering its high ratings on Expedia. It was clean, but felt like it had been remodeled by the cheapest contractor they could find. The shower floor felt like it was going to cave in at any second. Lots of holes/blemishes/Etc in the walls. Not terrible for a budget hotel, just not as nice as we were expecting, given the location, reviews, and pictures on the website. The breakfast was very good

THis is a great property with a very helpful and friendly staff!! With the storm and cold I was able to check in early and check out late. That was so appreciated!! THe room was perfect and spacious for a 4 day/3 night stay. I will definitely stay here when returning to Omaha.

Stopped in on a cross country trip and it’s a newer, well maintained hotel. The restaurant amenities are very convenient—several options just across the street and I80 two minutes away.

Great stay, friendly employees, safe area!

The room was large and very comfortable. This was a great choice for our 3 nights in Omaha. We visited with family and friends and made a trip to the zoo. Very convenient to go everywhere since hotel is close to I-80. Breakfast was included and had a great assortment of items with plenty of room for all.

It was in a convenient location definitely would love to stand West Omaha again....

We had a good stay. The room was very clean and I appreciated being placed on the first floor with my pet. Breakfast was very good and had a lot of variety.

We were in town for state wrestling to watch our son compete. The hotel is at a convenient location right off of I 80 check in process was easy. I was looking for somewhere with a good breakfast so that we could eat prior to wrestling every day to cut down on costs. The breakfast offered is subpar compared to most other places that I’ve stayed at Other comfort suites. We had a three night stay and the second day our keys didn’t work and we were locked out of our room and I had to go downstairs and get them fixed after already being gone for a long day at competitions. My biggest complaint is how noisy everyone was around us and when I called the front desk, they basically told me there was absolutely nothing they could do till after 10 PM , I mean I literally had people blaring music on either side of me banging on walls stomping on floors. After spending 12 hours at the CHI every day that’s not exactly what you want to have to listen to till after 10 PM. Overall, it met our needs however, next year I will be looking into another location.

Good stay. Room was clean, staff was friendly. Breakfast was good-eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits, waffles, danishes, bagels. Beyond Golf Restaurant was excellent and Pizza West was also good. Both are right across the street as is Jimmy John’s and Sonic.

We appreciated the excellent breakfast options. My husband is gluten free and there were several things that he could eat.

This is our 2nd time staying at this location. We will definitely come back again. Only suggestion, is to update the breakfast time on this website. We did end up missing breakfast because it closes at 9 and not 10 am.

Nice rooms, friendly staff, great price, and a nice breakfast. Highly recommend.
