Check in was quick and easy. Pool was nice. Room I had was great for the two nights. There was a minor problem with water issue around the toilet while at the conference I was at. Came back and realized it was more than a puddle. Just glad maintenance and front desk were nice to help clean up. Hopefully that gets fixed soon. Other than that I enjpyed my time with family and working on this trip.

The Hyatt House met all of our needs during our stay. Would definitely recommend for those staying in the Sandy area. Quick access to I-15. Only downfall is they have one elevator for all their guests.

Was here for a 4 day snowboarding trip to Snowbird. Great value for the money. Breakfast daily was on par for hotel food but still very good. Heated outdoor pool and hot tub was great after a day of riding in powder. Complimentary shuttles to restaurants and snowbird old sandy bus stop (free to ride with Ikon pass). Overall excellent and would stay again.

Pet friendly, the gym is decent for a hotel gym. Room was clean, staff was friendly. We have been here before, and I was looking forward to the omelette station but it seemed there was no one there each morning when I came down for breakfast. This has nothing to do with the staff, but I did see someone using their hands in the fruit station to grab handfuls of grapes. Sometimes the elevator takes a long time, if my room was not directly in front of the elevator, I would have just taken the stairs. Sometimes it would come to the floor, the light would turn off on the button, and it would never open up. That being said, being directly across from the elevator could be concerning for noise, but we didn't hear anything too crazy while we were in our room.

The studio suite was perfect for our 2-week stay! We were able to prepare meals in our room kitchen with a full-size fridge, stovetop, microwave, full set of dishes, utensils and cookware - not to mention the dish washer! The daily breakfast buffet was also fabulous and offered many healthy options, as well as custom-made omelets! Onsite laundry facility added even more convenience and the covered, poolside patio with grill allowed for fun gatherings with friends! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to others!

Good bed , great shower, hot tub, pool, laundry. Fab view of the mountains and no road noise at the rear of the property despite close location to I15. Coffee available out of breakfast hours was s nice touch. Better than most buffet breakfasts with fresh fruit and omlets cooked to order. Very helpful and friendly staff on front desk. Only reason I scored 4 not 5 was a bizarre situation with housekeeping removing hand towels daily but not replacing them, necessitating a visit to the front desk each night to get them replaced. Definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect for our destination...Mountain America Exposition Center. The rooms were very clean...the bed was comfortable...the kitchen fully supplied...the sofa bed was not comfortable at all. The pool and spa were outside and heated to a very comfortable temperature. We used the bbque area but could not get the fireplace to work and no employee seemed to want to assist us. The breakfast had many good choices...my favorite was the made to order omelets...if we need to come back next year this would be where we stay...my only complaint was the noise from the freeway...

We had a room facing the freeway so we heard lots of noise. The furniture was chipped, mismatched and old. The paint was peeling in the bathroom. I found a french fry in the sofa. Breakfast was cold powdered eggs, cold sausage and potatoes that weren't properly cooked. Very outdated property.

It was just okay. I booked a 2bd suite for my family and I. For the most part the room was decent except for the loud and off track restroom sliding door, the broken towel hanger, and the tv not working in one of the rooms. The breakfast was mediocre and the pool was dirty. I’ve stayed at many hotels and unfortunately my family and I wasn’t impressed with Hyatt house.

We always stay at this hotel (unless the prices are way up or there is no occupancy) on our way down and back from WA to AZ. We jave done this for about the last 6 years. We've always come back because of great service, room accomodations and cleanliness. This last visit, the room wasn't as clean. The floor in the kitchen wasn't clean, the bathrooms weren't as "sanitized" feeling. The room thenselves are starting to show wear. I may be time for s deep clean and touch up to bring it back to feeling fresh, not worn.

One word for this hotel - vile. Check in was uncomfortable, the room itself was extremely outdated, dirty, and very awkward. We had stopped to rest up midway through our roadtrip but left after a few hours because of the general filth and eerie vibes at this place. Would not recommend.

I've stayed at this hotel several times, because it's conveniently located to my family and it's reliably clean, with nicely appointed rooms that include a kitchenette, and free breakfast. I also count on wifi access, which has always been good; but this time I was in room 203 and apparently that wing of the hotel has very poor wifi reception. Router problem? Hope they fix it! Also wish recycling was offered. Nevertheless, I recommend it!

We were booked for two nights and left after one as we didn't sleep at all due to facing Interstate 15. Terrible, terrible noisy diesels, motorcycles, cars , trucks,.....i guess i was wrong to assume they would insulate or noise proof windows at a hotel next to an interstate.

Overall a good property. Maybe a little dated I travel frequently and I think this is the first property in years that has no USB Ports anywhere in the room. And, this part’s on me, I brought lightning cable assuming there would be a port. And what happens when we assume? Again good property. Could use bigger tv, smart tv

We were really happy with the 2 room suite that we had for our stay at the Hyatt House Salt Lake City/Sandy. Each bedroom had it's own roomy bathroom which was a nice surprise. The common room was comfortable and included a pull out bed. It also had a kitchenette with a full sized refrigerator that made ice. Very happy with this property.

Check in was easy and I appreciated not being charged for parking. The room was very clean. I really liked that the "living room" area was separate from the sleeping area, and the shower was the best that I've had at any hotel in the past couple of years. Just a couple of negatives: there was clear damage to the walls in a couple of areas that just looked bad, and there were no USB ports anywhere. With electronics to charge, that was frustrating. It would be worthwhile to do some small repairs and upgrade charging opportunities.

I like this hotel very much because the front desk person was very nice, polite and sweet. I arrived early for my reservation and I asked if I could get an early check-in and she did since they had rooms available I appreciated that very much. The room was spacious and clean. The next day at check out also they stored my suitcases for few hrs then I came back to pick them up. I was very happy with the room and services. Thank you

We stayed here for the first time since our other usual places were sold out. When I went to check in there were four people talking at the front counter. They just kept talking to each other rather than helping a customer. I had to wait and asked if someone could help me check in. One of the people who seemed to be more in charge said to the rest of the people to check me in. No one moved and they continued to talk amongst themselves and even the in charge person ignored me. They were just talking about personal stuff. Finally one of the individuals came to help. After this I was a bit concerned about our stay. After check in there was no other problems. The room was great. It was quiet and we have a great time.

These folks evidently have a policy of overbooking the hotel and then bumping some guests when they arrive. I went to the hotel at 1 p.m. on the day of our arrival to pay for two rooms and verify details. They took the money, told me to come back and get the keys later in the day. I arrived at 6 p.m. and was told they were sold out and no room was available. The event I am in charge of is across the street from the original hotel - the room they offered is 20 minutes away. My reservation was made 35 days before the stay. The excuses made and the form letter they provided indicated this is standard operating procedure for Hyatt House Sandy. Very disappointed

I called down to the front desk for blankets for the pull out couch bed and she said she didn’t have any, at all. The room didn’t come with blankets for the couch bed so we slept with no blankets and u helpful staff.

Couldn’t seem to change the room temperature in the evening so it was chilly. A little noisy if your room is facing the highway. Most importantly, front desk staff is unfriendly and generally lackadaisical to customer needs. Hope the management can retrain the staff.

The property is very clean is located in a safe area close to stores and restaurants. The best part of the hotel is the people. Every single person I met was genuine let kind and hardworking. Yvette from the front desk was exceptional. She made my reservation change seemless. She also took a genuine interest in the well being of my son and his roommates there for summer baseball. The staff here are fantastic. They were short-staffed the entire week we stayed here but still went out of their way to be friendly and super helpful, especially with the hotel shuttle. I read the review about the noise from the interstate sounding like a jet engine and thought they were exaggerating...but they we not! It sounded exactly like a jet. We had no problem sleeping through it because it was a constant drone but if you sleep light, I would ask to be on the other side of the hotel. The heated pool (about 90 degrees) and hot tub were amazing after skiing. The breakfast was average but hearty/filling and the fruit was particularly good. My only complaints are 1) that booked a room with an oven and did not get it and 2) the hotel bar/restaurant was closed the entire time we were there due to the staffing shortages.

Have been staying here on and off for many years. This will probably be my last stay. Hotel in desperate need of an upgrade. Staff not attentive at all. Breakfast was below average. No omelet station anymore. We were there 3 nights and never saw housekeeping. Had to go to desk to get new towels. Everything a bit run down.

The property advised there was a bar; however, the bar was closed for our entire stay. This was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. There were no streaming services and the TV options were extremely limited. Or room included a kitchen. The glasses had lip prints and the fronts of the cabinets had food stuck to them and the handles were sticky. The breakfast was to include an omelet station, but it was not manned on the first morning. On the 2nd morning, it was; however, the “chef” did not have her hair tied back and there was hair in the omelet - yuck! I depend on the ratings on Expedia’s website when choosing where to stay. This property has a 9.2 “wonderful” rating which I highly disagree with. Would absolutely never stay here again.

I felt safe and the hotel was easy access off of the freeway. What I didn’t like was we were tired the first night due to traveling and we ordered salads at the restaurant in the hotel, there was a hair in one of the salads. The next night we had a glass of wine and the red wine was old and tasted more like vinegar, I poured it out! Other than those two things it was great!
