This property was very clean the staff were wonderful and a great help when making enquires. The breakfast selection was changed every day and was of good quality The only down side was the pool. The tile step down into the pool was extremely slippery and both my husband and myself (very active and in our 70’s) slipped on the tiles when entering to pool My husband hurt his shoulder and I hurt my wrist. This would be a real problem for young children or someone a little infirm. There was no stair or hand rail for entering the pool We did wear socks when entering the pool after slipping this did stop the problem but the pool does need some attention as it could be very dangerous

Good location. Easy walk to eat street and downtown Seminyak. Very clean and comfortable. Staff is excellent and super helpful. Laundry service next door was fast and quality. Spa was very good ace a good value. Morning buffet breakfast was very good with good options changing daily and cooked to order eggs. Loved the private pool and strong AC.

We had a great 5 night stay at the villa during Nyepi. The washroom was large and comfortable fully loaded with toiletries. The private pool was amazing, and pool towels provided upon request. The lounge area was great to have a room service meal. We also had a spa treatment in which the masseuses did a great job. The food selection was great and what we considered reasonably priced. The breakfast included was great, with an egg bar and ability to take special requests. Beware there are a lot of bugs (to be expected) so bring mosquito repellent! Would recommend!

Don't be fooled by the photos online, this is NOT what it looks like!! These photos were probably taken 10 years ago. The property is very run down and needs ALOT of maintenance! We only stayed 1 night out of 7 & booked somewhere else for the remainder of our holiday. It is not safe around the pool, there is broken and uneven decking, nails sticking up. The furniture is old and smells like mould... We asked for a new room and the other was exactly the same. This was such a shame and definitely added to the cost of our holiday and stress of finding somewhere else at such sort notice. Learn from us and just avoid if you want a nice place to relax in.

The staff can’t do enough to help you, they are super friendly and really want you to enjoy your time at their establishment. Breakfast was first class, the only thing that lets this place down, certainly in our room, was the shower that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years, Limescsle on the glass and tiles was really heavy and it made the place look shabby, the deck around the pool could do with a coat of something and the lime scale around the pool water line was also a little heavy, otherwise it suited our needs for an overnight.

Villa was very old and dirty, and not properly maintained. Air con is not working & shower water pressure is low. Towels/pillows/bedsheet and sofa, etc are dirty with stains... Pool water is very dirty. Basically all the facilities in the viila are old & dirty. Breakfast buffet is bad. Will not come back again!!! Not worth the money. Super disappointing despite the high reviews

Beautiful , peaceful one bedroom villa with a private pool. A private oasis in the heart of Seminyak. Each villa has a bedroom, washroom, outdoor kitchen, patio and private pool. Everything is very clean, the bed was very comfortable, the room, kitchen and bathroom has everything you need (including toiletries, hair dryer etc). The premises was well maintained and well lit (important at night). The location is excellent, near the beach, restaurants, mini marts and laundry services. The staff were delightful giving us recommendations when asked. Had a relaxing massage on site as well which I highly recommend. Would highly recommend this for your stay. We will be back as well

This is a nice place and the staff really try to please the guests. I felt that the place was a clean, but felt a little run down. It could use some upgrades. There was plenty of bottled water on hand and the breakfast was great.

Fantastic accommodation! Villas are clean, tidy and well looked after. Great location, with plently of bars, restruants shops nearby. Settimo Italian, Happy Chappy & Gloriam Bar & Grill are a must trys. Will definitely stay here again.

The property is very quiet & peaceful. We love the breakfast even though there are not many varities but it changes every day & was delicios. The private swimming pool was fantastic, great seating area & nice big room. The best thing was the staff. They were so polite & focus on guest satisfaction. The only negative i would give is the slow wifi, i guess because we have the room right at the back. But we will definitely come back to The Light next time we visit Bali & will stay longer. Thank you to all staff from front desk to food & beverage attendants & room attendants they were all amazing.

The Light Exclusive Villas & Spa was perfect walking distance from Eat Street, shopping centres, night life and small market stalls. The staff were very friendly, polite and hospitable. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a different variety of food each morning and the option to have fresh made eggs and bacon your way. The hotel provides transfer to/from the airport at an extra charge. Highly recommend Daniel for this service and other transportation needs. The hotel was also able to look after our bags upon early check-in/late check-out which was very convenient. Highly recommend The Light Exclusive Villas and Spa.

Loved the staff at the Light. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. Their daily breakfast was a delicious assortment of local and continental dishes. They even offer to cook an omelette of your choosing. Their private villas with pool was so spacious and homey, you didn’t want to leave its confines. The Light provided such a relaxing environment.

Villa has great indoor outdoor flow, staff are fantastic, daily breakfast was phenomenal - we looked forward to discovering what was in the buffet menu each day, couldn’t be happier with spread. After two weeks we will miss the property and awesome service. Highly recommended, will be back :)

This was our first time at this villa. We really loved it. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. The service is great, the villa premises are always kept clean and are well designed. They offer a limited but varied and delicious selection for breakfast. Overall, we loved our stay, one of the best villas we’ve stayed at in Bali. It made our stay in Seminyak so much better, I would highly recommended it. We will back, for sure.

The staff were beyond lovely. They went above and beyond to ensure our needs were being met. If you're not looking closely, the breakfast buffet looks simple but the food is so flavourful and they put effort into making changes everyday so it's not too repetitive. The omelettes are wonderful too! Not a huge establishment which is nice because the amenities are great but it's not too loud and buzzing with people. We had a relaxing time and would recommend this property without hesitation.

Everyone was friendly and helpful, easy to get to but it was nothing special. Decent rooms but the breakfast was very bad. Went for another breakfast the first day and skipped it completely the second day.

Stayed 7 nights

The resort is quite simple and very tired needing a major refresh. Breakfast is basic and very limited compared to other villas we have stayed in. Staff are very nice and friendly always willing to help.
