One Ocean Resort & Spa

The hotel was fine, but the resort and valet fees were not clearly disclosed and the only hot tub is a spa tub if you purchase a spa package, are a woman, and even then you can only use it during your spa time.

We loved our stay at One Ocean Resort and Spa! The view from our room was incredible and everyone was so friendly. We appreciated having chairs and an umbrella available each day that was included in the resort fee. The only concern was the additional parking fee of $35 per day. We opted to park on the street which was free because my husband is handicapped. I also liked that the hotel was pet-friendly. We look forward to returning and possibly bringing our fur baby along!

Very nice property with a spa and restaurant. Beach chairs and umbrellas are part of your stay as are bikes.

A Soulful Coastal Getaway We stayed one night at One Ocean Resort for my significant other’s birthday, and it was wonderful. The resort has a relaxed, seaside charm—not overly luxurious, but full of thoughtful touches and comfort. Our ocean view room was cozy and inviting, decorated beautifully with a calming coastal theme. We loved having beach chairs and umbrellas provided, which made beach time easy and relaxing. The pool and poolside bar were refreshing spots to unwind, though the pool area felt a bit outdated and could benefit from a modern refresh. The on-site spa looked amazing—though we didn’t use it this trip, it’s definitely on our list for next time. The location is perfect, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and boutiques just a short walk away. A few minor downsides: the elevators (only two serving eight floors) meant some waiting, the water pressure in the shower was a bit low, and the hall lights coming through the door at night were distracting and made it a little difficult to sleep if you’re sensitive to light. Overall, One Ocean Resort felt like a peaceful coastal retreat, and we can’t wait to return.

Only valet parking. Therefore, we felt pressured to tip every time we needed our car. No ice or drink machines. We had to call the desk for ice and they sent it to our room. Another tip for something we could easily do ourselves. Don’t like feeling “pennied to death”. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Friendly, helpful staff.

Very nice hotel. Weird though having to have ice delivered to your room instead of having ice machines available. We would stay here again. It is great being right in the ocean!

Private access to the beach was great, along with the pool. The fitness center was nice - great cardio equipment. The staff was more than hospitable. The best is all the incredible restaurants right out the front door of the hotel. Couldn't rate One Ocean high enough.

Great location. Great service. Not nearly enough electrical outlets in the room. Also no large mirror in the room to see your whole outfit. Elevator situation is difficult. Have to use two different elevators to get to your room

One Ocean Resort is a delightful beach front experience. The poolside snack bar had tasty lunches and fun drinks, fresh towels in abundance, nice rinse off shower as you come up off the beach, beautiful beach. The lounge was fun with nice choices. The location is superb- walk to shops, restaurants, nightlife, cafes and they even offer bicycles to use. Lovely staff.

Engaging staff, very polite, very professional and a beautiful place. Room renovations are scheduled. Pool is delightful, beach is gorgeous, walkable to shops, restaurants, and fun nightlife. The lounge staff is welcoming and we hear the spa is amazing.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay to celebrate our 10th anniversary wedding anniversary. Our room was available early. Every member of staff we encountered were friendly, polite, and helpful. The ocean front room had a stunning view. Rooms were spacious and beds were so comfortable. The beach was clean and the chairs and umbrellas were great. The pool was nice with comfy loungers. The location is fabulous. So many great places to shop, dine, drink within walking distance. I highly, highly recommend this resort. We will absolutely be back!

Bad experience first time in Florida on July 4th. Bad choice at this hotel. Room is smells and dirty. Not for those of y’all picky about cleanliness.

The breakfasts and dinners were awesome, and the staff was very friendly. The view was spectacular from the balcony. However, the bathroom was very small, and there was wallpaper coming off the wall. The whole room was in dire need of updating. Worse, though, was that the room was not clean. There was noticeable dust on the headboard, and when we wiped down the shower floor so the maid would not slip on the sunscreen we had put on in the shower, the towel that we wiped the shower floor with was filthy. It seemed like no bleach had ever been used in that shower. Additionally, the one morning that we wanted to get out to the pool at around 9:30, there were no towels available. We had to search down a staff member to bring some towels out. Beware, too, that there is no adult pool and no hot tub.

There is visible mold everywhere in the hotel the cleaning people were so rude and hard to communicate with they acted like my dogs were intruded and they are my family the bathrooms you can barley move in them when I first arrived I was skipped in line looked over I guess the only thing nice was the view and the vallet other then that I would never stay there again oh and terrible experience at the spa as well went to relax and the lady talked my ear off the whole time pool was dirty

The staff is incredibly accommodating and kind however, the TV had issues the entire stay and the headboards and walls of the room were filthy and there was a lingering smell of old urine coming from either the carpets or bed (not quite sure which) additionally, the shower head was not 100%

Room was very dated and smelled bad. Bathroom was so small. Size of a closet. Couldn’t move in it and I am a small woman of 120 pounds. Would not stay there again.

We found an apple core under the chair in our room. It had obviously been there for awhile. Shocking given we had to pay a $150 deep cleaning fee for a 10 pound dog that sleeps in a cage. Bathroom could also be cleaner.

Great location and excellent staff, but the hotel rooms felt a bit run down. The 8th floor had a strong musty smell, and our room also smelled damp, which made the stay less comfortable.

I have stayed at this resort for years. The condition of the property has goon down a bit. It needs a clean face lift in the furniture, carpet and paint. Its an average room where it used to be above average and worth the price. The only reason I continue to stay is the location which is perfect for a weekend get away.

Entirely too small. Resort is in bad need for remodel and update. The rooms are very small. If you’re traveling with 4 adults, look elsewhere. The rooms felt like a cruise ship more than a resort.

Unfortunately, while we arrived on property early and were allowed access to the beach, our room wasn’t ready until 5:30pm, which caused our evening plans to be very rushed. They tried to make it right by reimbursing us for parking, but still.

I was traveling in the area for business and found one ocean to be an excellent location for my trip. It came recommended by a local business associate. I found the hotel to be well appointed clean and in excellent condition. You can’t beat the location and the amenities are well maintained. The staff was awesome especially Debbie when it came to modifying my stay due to travel disruptions. When I asked for additional time to stay over, they quickly made the changes to accommodate my request. I will definitely be back on future travel to the area.

We got married on their patio on Friday afternoon. The entire staff made certain the entire weekend stay was more than pleasurable, it was outstanding! Thank you and kudos to Jake in valet parking, Romi at the front desk and all the restaurant staff!!!

Absolutely god awful experience. I booked the room obviously through Expedia. They claimed Expedia lied about having a King Size room available. Said they would upgrade my room. After checking in, I go to my room , to find that not only did they NOT upgrade me, they down graded me to a double bed room with view of construction. Instead of what I thought would have a balcony. They didnt even have trash bags in the room or a microwave. Apparently people used to steal the microwaves, so they make you request a microwave if needed. Which I was not told until after I checked out. But after checking in last night, I then realized after checking my bank account, I was charged AGAIN from the actual hotel. For a double bed room. Which of course was over $60 more than the king room I booked through Expedia. I brought it to the hotels attention, was completely blown off at first. And treated like an idiot. Finally got it taken care of, what I thought. The money was immediately refunded back in my account. Then after checking out today, I looked at my account, to find I was obviously charged from Expedia $259 (no problem at all there), AGAIN the $322, and for whatever reason $242 from the hotel also. After going back and forth all afternoon, they reached out, said they refunded my money. Still have yet to get it. They said it will take a few days for the bank. But it was an immediate refund last night. they say they reached out to yall about refunding my actual stay also.We shall see.

A great oceanfront resort providing everything you need at a reasonable price. The staff was friendly & helped in any way they could. Look forward.to coming back.

Another excellent vacation at the One Ocean. Staff is wonderful. Rooms are clean and comfy.

The staff are super attentive. I have not met an unfriendly one; they all go above and beyond to help you. The extras are nice: free beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas, as well as having a rain umbrella in the room closet if you need one (we did!), even free bottled water.

The staff was fabulous. Everyone I came in contact with was very helpful.

Great location right on the beach! No need to drive anywhere. Plenty of places to eat and shop right close by!

This is a really nice smaller resort right on the beach. It’s like in its own quiet beach town. Perfect for solo, family or couples 4 day weekend trips. Tons of shops and eating all within walking distance. The staff was so inviting and warm! I definitely plan on making this my hidden getaway for recharging when needed! Cannot beat pricing!

I took my Mom to One Ocean Resort and Spa to celebrate her 88th birthday. She had an awesome time! The food at the restaurant was soooo good! Her spa treatment was amazing! She says it’s her best birthday celebration ever! A big thank you to the entire staff for making my mom’s birthday an unforgettable one! ❤️

We had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly at checkin. Beautiful hotel located on the ocean, restaurants and shopping. Cool and comfortable room and nice shower. Restaurant and bar in hotel with discount towards meal and/or drinks.

Great location with many dining and bar options within 2 blocks of the hotel. The entire bartending staff was nothing short of amazing. We will definitely be back sooner than later.

The location was excellent, although weather was too chilly and rainy to enjoy the beach. I did take advantage of heated pool one evening - it was wonderful! We thought $35/day parking fee was rather excessive, also, when we got our receipt when checking out, an extra day was added to parking. We told person at desk and fee was refunded. Also, coffee machine in lobby was excellent!!

Staff were polite and friendly, service was excellent. Bar staff excellent also. Only complaint would be drink prices about three times more expensive than restaurants around property.

This is a beautiful hotel lobby and spa. Bar and dining pricey but exceptional. Get a room with a view because you are on the ocean. The side views are fantastic does not need to be oceanfront. Always have trouble with the bill but the staff is cooperative. Highly walkable area for meals. Bathrooms are small but showers are nice. Dish tv only.

One Ocean is an iconic property for me as I grew up in Jacksonville. The staff was excellent and there was always someone available. The room had a nice view of the ocean & square below but it was small and the AC unit was kind of loud and not very efficient. We had to adjust throughout the night. Beds were small but comfortable but the pillows could have been a bit more puffy. Breakfast was not good and was comped by the restaurant. Maybe it was just a bad day there. Overall a pretty good stay. Very pet friendly property and still smelled fresh & clean!

This place is a gem! Beautiful and the staff are so so friendly. The bartenders in the restaurant are the best, they went out of their way for us. Even the guys that set up our chairs and umbrellas on the beach were the sweetest and went above and beyond.
