Staff was great checking in. I found the employees at the bar moody and out of sorts Saturday night. Not sure why. Value for room price was good but I will probably stay elsewhere on next visit.

The Valet was rude both the attendant that took the car and when we left. They acted like we were inconveniencing them. The hotel desk was very nice but the room left a lot to be desired. The couch was broken literally broken when you sat on it and this was the updated suite that I paid extra for. There was one small window that faced a brick wall so close you could touch it. The bathroom was nice but overall the room was dated and dingy.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Joinery. The room was lovely and clean, the staff were friendly, and it was reasonably priced (except for the parking). But when one stays downtown anywhere, I guess the parking fees are always high, with space being at a premium.

Welcoming staff was welcoming. Maintenance staff was great. The bartender and restaurant waitstaff were also very friendly and the drinks were delicious and I did enjoy the grilled cheese. The hotel itself is very clean and aesthetically appealing. The bed was super comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. I did not like that the phone was across the room. There is also no place to really hang or place your clothes. The rooms are very small, and the bathroom door did not stay open. I had difficulty understanding how to access the restaurant...breakfast is on one level, lunch on another, Lobby, RB, Mezz...and when I requested assistance, the woman at the front desk was less than helpful. All that said, for the price, Joinery is a nice hotel and in a great location, near everything.
