Hotel Punto MX

Great location and fully renovated hotel from halls to rooms and restrooms. Close enough to walk to el zocalo and tour operators. The gym was supposed to be available every day from 7 to 9 Pm , but had to go to reception to sign in and get gym open at around 8:30am

Great hotel, clean, bed was so comfortable. The rooms can be a little loud, but with the AC on it can drown out the noise. Food and service in the restaurant was good, they have a nice rooftop as well. The gym is just ok, not much options but the treadmill worked and the view was nice. Great location in the Zocalo, very walkable with great restaurants nearby.

Great hotel in the Zocalo. Friendly and helpful staff, nice restaurant and coffee shop on site. We had the king room with jetted hot tub. Room was very comfortable and large, included coffee in the room as well as a complimentary mini bar with snacks, pop and a couple of Coronas which were replenished daily. The bed was very comfortable. Would have preferred a couple more English channels on the television but CNN and Fox News was available to keep you up to date. Overall, this was an amazing hotel a couple blocks walk to the Zocalo. Price was decent, would stay here again without hesitation.

El hotel está muy ameno, la cocina del restaurante con un muy buen sazón, las habitaciones muy agradables y funcionales y con una terraza agradable. Me gustó que fuera una zona tranquila y muy cerca de la plancha del zócalo.

Only bad thing is parking this place doesn’t have parking, but there is plenty of parking around the area where you can leave your car safely

Wonderful. Clean, simple, great location, and staffed by very helpful and friendly people. The roof-top sitting area was a brilliant spot for chilling-out, chatting about the day's events, and socializing with other guests.

Muy buena ubicación, segura, limpia, desayuno buffet muy bueno. Lo único que falta es estacionamiento o un convenio con estacionamiento cercano.

Property was great. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Loved that they had a coffee shop on site. Central location. Easy walk to historic district. Uber rides were about 30 min to other neighborhoods. A lot of the restaurants in the area close around 7. The churro place down the street was amazing.

Muy buena ubicación. Limpio y el staff es muy amable. La conexión al Wifi también muy buena. Solo tengo un par de quejas diminutas: las toallas que me tocaron estaban percudidas y el shampoo reseca muchísimo, por último; el piso está resbaloso.

The room was clean and kept that way throughout our stay. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed Raul at the restaurant.

El hotel es nuevo y está bonito, muy bien ubicado y área tranquila. El personal trato bueno pero muy x, podrían ser más cordiales. El INTERNET NUNCA FUNCIONÓ y su respuesta fue, “estamos llenos” eso yo pensaría que amerita mejor servicio, no esos pretextos. LAS TOALLAS PÉSIMAS. ASQUEROSAMENTE DETERIORADAS YA SON GRISES Y TODAS ROTAS.

It was just ok. The breakfast buffet had good options but the lady checking us in for the buffet was very rude since we didn’t understand Spanish. The place was not that clean too.

The room was comfortable in size & clean. Great location in the historical area of the city, walkable to many areas.

Limpieza, el espacio, atencion super bien

The staff was meh, they really went just straight to business and not happy or excited to have you. The room was very very small, but clean and I didn't need a ton of room since I was gone most of the day. But it felt like a coffin. The room service was next to my room and still couldn't get a cleaning till 4pm in the afternoon after I returned. Location isn't near anything really great, I asked for places to go and the staff had zero clue for bars or good eats. But if you need a room that is clean, new and in that area, its a good place to stay.

Más limpio imposible, cómodo, buen restaurante, y muy cómoda la cama, Cero ruido desde los exteriores a pesar de estar en pleno centro histórico. 100 por ciento recomendable.

If you’re working remotely, prepare yourself not to. The internet connection is one of the worst I’ve ever experienced.

Room was spacious but we did have an interior room with a window to the hallway which was odd but honestly I did not mind. However, the AC was quite loud. The soaps in the bathroom were in a holder that prevented them from actually functioning. Also, we had to wait until exact check-in time to get our room and it was still delayed afterwards. We were exhausted from the flight and the staff were not particularly helpful or warm. Overall I think the accommodation was fine but I wouldn't stay here again.

日本語を話すガードマンが、スペイン語訛りでかつ不明瞭で早口なフロントが何言っているのかわからない時に助けてくれました。24時間いるわけではないので、助けてもらえたらラッキーでしょう。コネクティングルームにするドアが一枚だけのせいか、隣の人の話し声や歌声、テレビの音が同じ部屋にいるように聞こえます。夜遅くに大きな声で歌い出したときは、さすがにドアを叩いて知らせました。もちろんその前にフロントに静かにするように伝えてもらっ他のですが、ハイになっているのかなかなか静かにはならりませんでしたね。

It was quiet at night which is rare in the historic center, but this came at the expense of windows. The rooms all center around interior balconies with a big skylight, so its not quite a dungeon, but this also means that breakfast in the dining room on the first floor echoes throughout the hotel and will wake you up. Speaking of breakfast, the food options were very odd and the service was minimal. The hot water takes 8-10 minutes to heat up in rooms (very specific answer I got when I went down to check because the water did not seem to be hot). Overall this place felt overpriced.

Great value for price: nice and attentive service, very convenient location, brand new hotel, the only thing to improve would be the AC which is a bit too noisy.

Hotel is located close to many sites. Very nice, clean and friendly staff. But they do need a better wifi connection took forever to open any website.

Good overall, but was constantly noisy as the room had interconnected door to the other room and could hear everything.

This place at best is a 2 star. Location is centralized and everything is walking distance. The room and hotel decor is clean and modern. Biggest complaint is my room had no windows I felt like I was in a basemen and other complaint it was noisy. You can hear your neighbors above you or anytime the shower wa on.

Pros: bed and pillows are great, check is easy, hotel is beautiful, room are spacious and clean. Wifi is great, security at night Cons: our door knob was half broken but they fixed it, the shower isn’t hot (just warm), isolation is bad we can hear people having breakfast downstairs in the morning.

Clean, quite and good location. Terrible treatment by indifferent staff at reception. Check in at 3:40pm but room not ready but will be in 10-15 minutes so got a cupon for a snack and drink so ok. After 30 minutes still not ready. Waited 1-1/2 hours. Stayed for 3 days. Everyday I came back to hotel after out all day, the room key doesn't works. Had to get reprogrammed. Indifferent staff treatment every time you asked and they just don't care or think treating guests for inconvenience is totally acceptable. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

El hotel esta muy centrico, y el zocalo y la calle madero esta pocas cuadras, muchos lugares para comer en el area cerca del hotel para todo bolsillo y preferencia. el hotel muy bonito, limpio y instalaciones comodas. Pero el servicio le falta mejorar. El checking era a las 3:00 pm y nos entregaron la habitación hasta las 5:45 pm y porque insistimos en ello. El restaurante los desayunos son decentes pero muy inpuntuales, El servicio dice que empieza a las 7 y llegamos pero no tenian preparada el area de comida. Como el bufet no tenia comida pedí algo del menú para poder comer algo, medio comí fruta y yogurt de lo que iban colocando mientras esperaba y me salio peor eran las 7:30 y nada. Tuve que preguntar al mesero, que personas que llegaron después ya les habían pasado su orden. El mesero me dijo “Que iba a preguntar”. Al final recibí la comida casi cerca a las 8. Tenia un tour a las 8:40 y casi no llegamos. Los precios del restaurante son muy altos para la cenas y no muy buena. Si me preguntan si regresaría? Mi respuesta es Si; la ubicación es muy buena y las instalaciones bonitas y limpiad pero no comeria ahi. Hay muchas opciones alrededor, incluso una taqueria a la par del Hotel, por decir uno.

Buena ubicación, pero gestión deficiente y cargos indebidos El Hotel Punto MX tiene una excelente ubicación y una buena relación calidad-precio en cuanto a instalaciones y servicios básicos. Sin embargo, la gestión del hotel deja mucho que desear, especialmente en términos de comunicación, transparencia y capacitación del personal. Desde el inicio, solicité que se integraran mis dos reservas para evitar cambiar de habitación. La joven que me atendió pareció comprender la situación, ingresó a la computadora y me indicó que hiciera los pagos respectivos, sin aclarar si la solicitud era viable o no. Dando por hecho que todo estaba resuelto, me instalé con tranquilidad. Después de cuatro días de estancia y desayunar en el hotel diariamente, nadie informó que el cambio de habitación no era posible hasta pasada la hora del check-out. Como resultado, me aplicaron un cargo por late check-out sin mi consentimiento, pese a que me habían indicado que podía hacer la mudanza con calma. El personal es joven y carece de experiencia y herramientas para resolver situaciones atípicas. Además, la comunicación interna es deficiente, lo que genera confusión y decisiones poco transparentes que afectan la experiencia del huésped. Si bien el hotel tiene potencial, hasta que mejoren la gestión y la capacitación del personal, no lo recomendaría.

Title: Horrible Stay – Rude Staff, Dirty Room, and Threats Toward Guests This hotel was a disaster from start to finish. At check-in, we were sent to a room that was still being cleaned — no notice, no apology. When I brought it up, staff responded with condescension, offering a “free drink” and telling us to wait in a tone that was anything but polite. The bathroom in our room was clogged and remained that way despite multiple complaints. Staff showed zero interest in resolving it. Worst of all, when my wife raised concerns about the service, a staff member became aggressive and threatened her. When I stepped in to defend her, he escalated the situation and threatened to call the police on us. Truly unbelievable. This wasn’t just poor service — it was hostile and unsafe. I’m demanding a full refund and strongly advise others to stay far away from this place.

Overall not a bad hote. Great location. There was a weird smell, probably form the water in the bathrooms though. Also, if you like windows not all rooms have windows to the outside, so it can feel a bit enclosed. Most importantly though was the service we got from raul. Every morning he was extremely attentive. Anything we needed. Once he was there he gave us full support as on other occasions some of the other staff were horrible.

Gracias al equipo del hotel por la experiencia tan agradable… El personal siempre estuvo atento y con una sonrisa. Las habitaciones son cómodas y muy limpias. El desayuno excelente. Sin duda volveré

Breakfast wasn’t free but they do have a restaurant on the bottom floor & it was delicious. For the price I paid for the room I didn’t mind paying for breakfast. Over great hotel, great service, friendly employees rate it a 9/10 because of area but overall great.

La limpieza estaba bien, el personal muy amable, el servicio en el restaurante muy bien, solo el personal que prepara el desayuno en la plancha con mala cara 😅 y una observación “importante” pedí una pizza con servicio a la habitación y èsta llegó con un borde quemado y con pedazos de fibra de metal (para lavar trastes). No, lo reclamé. Pero esa pizza , me causó indigestión nauseas y malestar estomacal.

Very nice hotel in a convenient location for many CDMX sights. Located in Centro Historico it's an easy walk to Zocalo, Bellas Artes, museums etc. Lots of eating establishments in the neighborhood. The hotel was clean and updated. The bed was a little soft for us but otherwise loved the room. The breakfast buffet was just ok, not great. They need to add some plant based meatless options. Very friendly and attentive service from all staff. Will stay there again!
