Arrived early, we needed to change for an event and the staff provided a room for us to change. Very friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfast included, extensive breakfast menu. Great decor and a really beautiful place. Safe parking behind the property. Enjoyed our stay.

Our room was beautiful with lots of space, comfortable bed and we enjoyed the little treats they had for us. The breakfast is great and we enjoyed a drink in the bar as well as a delicious meal. We would definitely stay here again.

Allan Park was a convenient and comfortable property. There was adequate parking as well. The room was a good size. The bed was advertised as a King size but was smaller. Clean,cozy and comfortable lodging. Staff was attentive and helpful but there was a circular staircase to our room and we are older,but we managed. Restaurant was very nice as well A pleasant comfortable stay. Ww would stay there again.

Easy check in .Room was comfortable and very clean .Some evening noise( music ) from Restaurant/Bar above but stopped at 2200.Food in Restaurant was freshly cooked and well presented. Free breakfast was far more than expected and very good quality . Stay was exceptionally good value.

I had a nice spacious room, however we had trouble getting hot water. The guy who worked the bar was so helpful and got it to work. The sink kept spitting out water when we turned it on it was like there was air in the lines. The sink was very slow to drain and had standing water when the water was turned off. We had to catch an early train and they packed scones for us to eat. The hand towels had holes and the duvet was torn. This property has so much potential but needs some maintenance to make it worth the money.

The property was clean & tastefully decorated. The staff was great along with the dining room and bar. The review then takes a dive. My shower was inoperable. How do they not know that? I was going to use my friends shower in an adjoining room but he said he couldn’t adjust the temperature of the water. It was scalding hot or nothing. Interestingly another couple complained of the exact same problem. Can’t imagine how a building owner is unaware of the situation and why hasn’t it been fixed? I wouldn’t return.

The hotel is in a great location, and the food served at the restaurant upstairs is really good. That’s where all the pros end. The internet did not work for us well or at all (neither the wifi nor our phones signal). The bathroom is very outdated. The room itself was very hot (and we were there in October) and there was only a tiny fan provided that didn’t help much. I have stayed in better three-star accommodations. Would not recommend.

Had a great stay for a couple of nights in deluxe king room. Spacious room, nice decor and comfortable bed. Room was clean, quiet and cosy. Towels replenished. Nice snacks supplied in room. Great view of castle. Staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast delicious with great choice. Also had evening meal, also delicious, good variety and served quickly. Highly recommend.

Great place in a great location the only problem was they charged us twice and said they would reimburse us to our card but it has never happened. I've talked to them several times and they have no interest in giving us our money back.

This was a great choice and the price was right. Lots of unique characteristics of the old building. Be aware..the showers are tight. Liked having a restaurant and bar on site for this part of our vacation. Dinner was good. Breakfast was fantastic but breakfast service took way too long with no explaination just a late coming apology. We would definitely recommend and would book again.

Very warm welcome from host and housekeeping staff on arrival. Room was comfortable and a good temperature. The treat box was a lovely idea, however on taking the lid off one of the tubs of crisps we found they had previously been opened and half eaten. The room was below the ladies toilet so there was noise of squeaking floorboards and flushing toilets, but this was only until the restaurant closed which was before 10pm. The server at breakfast was not as warm and friendly as other staff and we waited over 30 minutes from ordering food to receive our order of poached eggs/eggs benedict. Considering there were only 2 other tables when we ordered, one of which had already ordered and had their food quickly and the other table ordered about 10 mins after us, the wait seemed too long, especially as the other table got their food immediately after we did. Maybe there was an issue in the kitchen or our order got lost, but we weren't given an apology for the wait. A disappointing final impression to what had been a good stay.

An overnight stop on the way home from the North of Scotland. Very friendly staff made our short stay all the better. Everyone we interacted with was helpful and very friendly. The room was downstairs, very comfortable and nicely presented. Good space and good size bathroom. Nice little welcome pack too! Breakfast selection included in the room rate was more than enough for us (cereal, toast, drinks, filled rolls) although you could also purchase additional breakfast offerings such as a full cooked breakfast. Overall, excellent value for money and a very comfortable stay.

This was a really lovely stay. We only visited for one night, but the place and the staff were really welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had a delicious meal in the evening and a generous breakfast in the morning. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Really impressed!

Great location to castle and old town with lovely decorated rooms at green value for money with good breakfast included! Paid much more for inferior hotels so my advice is to stay here!

Amazing one night stay for a birthday celebration. Room “alder” nicely kitted out, clean and nice gesture with Pringles and caramel wafers to welcome you. Only downside was high bath to step into for shower and no actual chair only stools in the room. We had drinks and dinner at the hotel too. Excellent experience, with great food and friendly staff. Great gluten free options at both dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended

The welcome was warm and attentive, the staff were first rate throughout. The room was comfortable and clean. The highlight of the stay was the food, the sea bass was very tasty and the breakfast excellent. We recommend this hotel.

This was a great choice and the price was right. Lots of unique characteristics of the old building. Be aware..the showers are tight. Liked having a restaurant and bar on site for this part of our vacation. Dinner was good. Breakfast was fantastic but breakfast service took way too long with no explaination just a late coming apology. We would definitely recommend and would book again.

We stayed one night to see Stirling Castle. The staff was very nice and attentive. Breakfast was delicious. We didn’t eat dinner there, but had sticky toffee pudding prepared vegan for my wife when we got back for dessert. It was very yummy. Only downside was the window in our room didn’t open and it got very hot and humid while trying to sleep. The room was a bit outdated, but that’s the trade off for the historic charm, which we appreciated.

Our room was beautiful with lots of space, comfortable bed and we enjoyed the little treats they had for us. The breakfast is great and we enjoyed a drink in the bar as well as a delicious meal. We would definitely stay here again.

Very warm welcome from host and housekeeping staff on arrival. Room was comfortable and a good temperature. The treat box was a lovely idea, however on taking the lid off one of the tubs of crisps we found they had previously been opened and half eaten. The room was below the ladies toilet so there was noise of squeaking floorboards and flushing toilets, but this was only until the restaurant closed which was before 10pm. The server at breakfast was not as warm and friendly as other staff and we waited over 30 minutes from ordering food to receive our order of poached eggs/eggs benedict. Considering there were only 2 other tables when we ordered, one of which had already ordered and had their food quickly and the other table ordered about 10 mins after us, the wait seemed too long, especially as the other table got their food immediately after we did. Maybe there was an issue in the kitchen or our order got lost, but we weren't given an apology for the wait. A disappointing final impression to what had been a good stay.

Stayed in the Mores room. Bed was hard and lumpy and they had flat hard pillows. There is water damage on the ceiling and walls and a leaking rad in the bathroom. The shower is on the small side, there is almost no water pressure, and hot water ran out after first person showered. There are no toiletries beyond hand wash, no coffee maker, but there is a kettle for making instant coffee and tea as well as a few complimentary snacks. There was a hairdryer, fan, iron, and ironing board in the cupboard. The 'included' breakfast is very basic and they offer you the option to pay more to order off of their 'other' breakfast menu. Overall this place feels like a restaurant renting out a couple of rooms and not an inn interested in welcoming guests and providing quality service.

Excellent boutique hotel only 15 minute walk to Stirling castle. Rooms were very large and easy to get into from the rear parking area. We also enjoyed the breakfast that was included in our booking and had nice meals for dinner in their restaurant and bar.

This is an historic building, so be prepared that it is not modern in any sense. Floors were uneven, not many outlets, etc. But this is to be expected in a building this age. Our room was not ready at check in, but they offered us food and drink in the lounge while we waited. Convenient location to walking to the castle and into town. We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed breakfast in the morning. Staff were helpful and kind. Check out was quite early.
