This was my 2nd time staying here this year! The staff is BEYOND amazing and attentive to their guests!!! I would give 10 stars if I could!! The rooms and balconies are so spacious! Food and drinks are great!! We are done staying at the north end of this island. This is my family and friends new "go to" spot!

I would definitely stay here again, considering the limited resort-like options on Isla. The pool was a 10/10. We really enjoyed the attentive poolside service. Skip the restaurant for dinner. It's nothing to write home about and our food was over-salted. The food is fairly OK for breakfast and lunch. I believe Izla has an all inclusive option, but I'd skip on that. Word of warning: Do not do the "Resort Credit" where you put down money upfront to use throughout your stay. Just pay as you go. Every time I tried to use my credit they said I was out and I had to go up to the front desk. Lo and behold, my credit was just fine each time. Funny how that never happened when my husband was closing out the bill. Other than that inconvenience, overall we enjoyed our stay.

Overall, it’s a very cute hotel with a nice room. However, the location isn’t ideal in hindsight, I would have chosen somewhere closer to the center so we could walk there in the evenings instead of needing transportation. There’s only one restaurant (we chose the all-inclusive option), and the taco spot that was supposed to be open wasn’t open during our two-night stay. The Italian dinner was below average, but lunch, especially the Mexican dishes, was good, so it helps to know what to order. Overall, it wasn’t bad, but I would have preferred to pay a bit more for a more central hotel.

Manager Jamie was a delight. Room was lovely and clean. Would love to see a breakfast only option and an in room refrigerator.
