Fun place to stay. Roof top bar and easy access to get to other hotels/resturants/city walk and park. Only issue is sometimes can hear loud guests in hallway late at night and chairs in lounge and roif top bar sit low to ground like kids chairs.

I can see why this hotel received a 9.5 rating. Very catering to hotel guests. Friendly and safe. Great pizza! A bit pricey on other foods and drinks. Did not like being charged $30/night for hotel parking since I had already paid for my hotel for the week. This must be a new way of nickel and diming people. Of course, this was Orlando. Anyway, highly recommend this hotel.

I've stayed a little bit of everywhere in and around Universal over the years but now I won't stay anywhere else. I've stayed with kids and without and the experience from the time I check in until the time I leave is unmatched. The rooms are always clean and spacious with comfortable beds. The views are fantastic and the food is my favorite out of all Universal hotels and city walk! The walk to volcano bay is a quick and convenient walk and I love the short walk to Sapphire falls to take the water taxi to the parks. Hands down the BEST place I've stayed in the Universal area!

The cleanliness was not up to par as a person who isn’t a fan of public status the bathroom was disgusting hair still in it and dirt on the walls, caulking was terrible. There is no fan for the bathroom to suck extra moisture from showers. And the coach was disgusfing very discolored and gross. There are a lot of floors in this hotel, which I should’ve heard that in mind that it was a lot of rooms for room cleaning to cover to be able to do it correctly and efficiently in in my opinion these rooms were disgusting for the price. The hotel itself is nice, but cleaning is not what it should be.

Very clean and quiet. Staff is great. Ordered extra towels thru the iPad in the room and they arrived at our door within minutes. Air conditioning is great, beds are comfy and rooms are spacious. Good restaurant on site. Nice rooftop terrace and nice ground level pool & hot tub area. Lovely for breakfast or drinks by the pool. Theme parks are close enough to walk but shuttle buses are convenient & clean and run often.

I had researched this property before staying and thought it looked quite nice on Expedia….boy I was wrong. The hotel itself isn’t in bad condition, lobby, parking etc but the rooms are another story. When we arrived our room looked like someone had just left. Dirt on the floors, hair on the bathroom walls, it was disgusting. The cleaning staff need to be more attentive or undergo training on how hotels should be cleaned. The sheets on the bed where dated and the overall cleanliness of the rooms was just not up to par. The only thing that made our stay bearable was the awesome view of the Univeral Studios and Islands of Adventure parks and the proximity of food/shopping etc, everything else was below average. Wouldn’t stay again or recommend.

there was blood on one of the towels and when an unknown substance was found on the sheets housekeeping brought us new sheets. made us change them and didn't take the dirty ones

In general, we liked our stay as a family. We liked the pool and the restaurants varieties, cleaning and affordable prices. Also, it's close to all the attractions. You can walk to volcano bays through the hôtel, take the shuttles to others or just enjoy the walk to the city walk. However we didn't like the cleaning service, it's every two days! We stayed for seven days and they didn't even change our bedding. Also, thanks god we already have our shampoo since they provide a miny tiny bottle of shampoo for two days! Also our room was in the back of the building on the 5th floor and there was a noise coming from some sort of engine or machine which was ok during the day but at night it's noisy

Very nice hotel! Ammenities are all new! Love that you can watch youtube and other streaming devices on their TV and the ipad controls everything! Very clean and new! We come home to a clean hotel room after tiring days at the park! Love the floor to ceiling view from our room and waking up to a very nice view! Bed are super comfy! I slept like a baby! Would definitely come back!

Quiet room, though quite cramped. Great shower (no bath). Could've used a complimentary lotion/makeup remover or nicer toiletries. Food court was really handy but some of the food items were almost too upscale, need some basic options for younger guests (other than pizza). Totally walkable to City Walk if you hate the park shuttles like we do.

Decent budget hotel on Universal property. Could be a lot better but other hotels cost twice as much. Quiet without all the children. However rooms need an update and there are not a lot of amenities.

At checkin we found one bed's sheets stained. The room was old and shabby. The layout was awful. They have a massive lamp, phone, and iPad on the nightstand that leaves no room for personal items (book, glasses, cellphone, etc). The shower is made so that it floods the bathroom and forces you to make the choice of do you use your towels for yourself or for the floor. All in all, the location was great, and it was wonderful to get early admittance into Universal Studios, the hotel less so.

While the hotel was nice enough, there are some limitations in the construction. We had a room at the end of a hall on floor 2 and we could hear EVERYTHING in the room next door. Also why does a modern hotel not have a bathroom fan? Oddly no bedside tables on both sides of a king bed. Weird choices like that.

We were put on the 16th floor below the rooftop bar which had a DJ playing music which woke us up because it was insanely loud. I complained to guest services and was told they would ask the DJ to turn it down, which never happened, then someone knocked on our door and 5 minutes later and had the absolute nerve to hand us earplugs! Absolutely disgusting customer service! We missed early entry hrs the next day due to over sleeping and were kept awake again until midnight the following night because of the DJ! I would never stay here again due to the issues this caused us during our stay and how the staff dealt with it. We were not told about the DJ at all so be aware if you’re booking here they play Fri and Saturday night and don’t finish until midnight! Expect better from a Universal property.

We obviously came for our trip to Universal so the bussing abilities were amazing. We only ever had to wait 10 mins for a ride to or from the parks. There was plenty at the hotel to explore but we didn't take advantage of any of the onsite amenities. My only negative was the walls are thin! We never saw anyone on our floor but we sure heard them. Neighbors sounded like they were standing outside our window (using their Spidey webs or something).

Okay was nice and very conveniently located, my biggest gripe was with the room. First of all, almost everything is controlled with a tablet. Want to turn the tv off, us the tablet. Turn on a light, tablet. When I'm the first one up, I don't want to feel around for the tablet to turn on the vanity light. Which bring on the next annoyance. There's very little privacy. The divider between the bathroom and the beds has these floor to ceiling, 3in slats. If I turn the vanity light on, the whole room is illuminated. No one gets to sleep in. Wouldn't stay here again.

Room was spacious and very quiet. Elevators were fast. Didn't like that I had to use an iPad in the room to control everything, especially the lights in the bathroom area in the middle of the night. Signage to walk to Citywalk was VERY poor outside the hotel. Ended up taking the shuttle because of this. 1st time staying at a Universal hotel and would stay again.

The rooms are very modern. The floor to ceiling window gives a great view since we were on the 16th floor. Had minor issue with room temp but they fixed it immediately. Wasn’t a big fan of using a tablet to control the tv and lights tho

Upon arrival were greeted by Lisa at the front desk, and she was amazing. Very professional and extremely helpful. She made a great first impression. The lobby offered a little bit of everything from Starbucks, to a full bar and plenty of snacks and choices from sushi to a grill for lunch. The pool was amazing, it was clean and had plenty of clean towels available as well as numerous life guards on duty. They have a roof top bar with lots of areas to lounge and have a drink while you watch the sunset. very nice feature. The room was clean and tidy. It also featured a smart I-pad which controlled everything from the lights to the smart TV. It was very cool and worked well. The only slight negative comment I have is how expensive the parking garage is ($47 a night), considering all the shuttle services and proximity to the parks I would recommend not driving a car. However if you rent a car to get there from the airport they have an Avis desk in the hotel lobby (super convenient) Overall amazing property and will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Check in was very frustrating, no communication between housekeeping and the front desk. Waited until 4 to check in even though they said to other guests that they had plenty of rooms and everyone else was getting rooms right away. Pool was gross and had ducks swimming and pooping in the pool. Last day housekeeping walked in on me at 9am while I was in the shower to see if I had checked out yet. Not recommended at all, lots of better places in the area this one is not worth the money.

Don't recommend. This was a split personal & business trip, picked as the price was reasonable and had transportation to Universal. Had a number of issues. Water was shut off for multiple hour period for repairs, was not communicated to guests prior. Power went out (they said it was a city issue) but hotels across street clearly had lights on. I paid $50 for a late check-out as I had to give a work presentation. Cleaning staff busted in anyway in the middl of my presentation which was very disruptive. Also their starbucks in the slowest starbucks staff I've ever encountered.

The overall checkin process was horrible No rooms were available before 4pm according to the hotel staff. There were guests who had come in on early morning flights with no room available check into. Frequent travelers know how frustrating that is. You're exhausted and the last thing you want to be told is you can check your luggage and we'll send you a text when it's ready.. Which is the speech we all got. Then....... miraculously everybody got a text at 4pm. In my opinion it appears to be an orchestrated effort to keep anyone from getting into a room before 4. The crazy thing is housekeeping was knocking at our door at 10:51 to clear us out clean the room I ignored them.

A very nice hotel let down by poor information given at check in. As is common I was advised that a hold would be placed on a card. I was assured this was not a charge and that I could pay my final bill by another card or cash. When I can to checkout, at around 10.40 am, I was told the whole bill had been charged to the hold card. As I wanted to pay some by cash this required a significant refund. As it happened I was happy to pay by the card I gave as the hold card, but if I had not been, it would have required a refund and then recharge. This is unprofessionally poor communication and customer service.

This hotel was a great option for going to Universal. The shuttle bus is a nice amenity so you don’t have to worry about finding parking. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. My only complaint was the bad smell at the pool bar area. It smelled terrible while we were trying to relax and have a drink. Not sure if it’s a regular thing but it was there for the 2 nights we spent at the hotel. Other than that, the pool was very clean and relaxing.

Great location! Just steps to Volcano Bay Water Park and a boat ride away from Universal Studios. We visited also the new Epic park. A bus shuttle took as there from in the front. However, if you plan to visit only Epic, then I would recommend to stay next to it, as the bus ride was about 20 minutes there. If you plan to visit Universal Studios and Volcano bay then this hotel is excellent choice! Clean, fresh feel rooms.

The hotel was convenient to Universal Parks. It is best to walk to Sapphire Springs and take the boat instead of the bus. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and the room spacious. I needed more towels and coffee. The staff bought it to be in 15 minutes.

Great clean hotel with not too many kids running around which makes it a great alternative to some of the other hotels. Only thing to note is the downstairs food options close pretty early and the Starbucks closes even earlier which i thought was a big miss for people coming back from the parks. Other than that the hotel was great and clean and was perfect for a few nights stay!

The busses took an hour to show up the first day. And the drink machines downstairs are a rip off. They charge $5 for a soft drink out of the machine, it only let you fill up your cup 1/2 way and then makes you wait 2 plus minutes before you can use the machine again and that cup is only good for 1 hour of use. They try and push you to the $20 unlimited per day cup. It’s a total JOKE. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVERY TIME YOU TRY TO GET A BEVERAGE.

I recently stayed at Universal’s Aventura Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The room was modern, clean and comfortable, thoughtfully designed with smart technology. Once again my family and I had a great vacation and the best part was staying at your hotel! The location was perfect for Universal access to the things we like. Pizza station and Starbucks are our favorite and most frequented restaurants. Concierge service was top notch and the garage access was perfect for our needs! Thank you!
