Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Phoenix Tempe/Airport

Location is great for work and the shuttle service to and from airport great.

The staff are really friendly and helpful. The property is very nice and extremely clean. I would recommend. The other side of this was the pool was not in service which I was never advised by Expedia regarding this and was very disappointed as it being so hot I was looking forward to this. I would have changed my reservation if I was aware of this. I stayed for 4 nights and I slept good 1 night. The air conditioner was very loud, I even took a video during the night so I could let the front desk know. they checked it after the second night. The 3rd day I told them it was still a bit loud and making two different noises but was told that that was how the air conditioners were so again the last night I had to sleep with a pillow over my head to cut down the noise so I could get some sleep. If I book a hotel its for sleeping and comfort and safety. Well, the sleeping was not very comfortable. For a 4 night stay I received 1 decent night sleep. Not everyone can sleep with loud noises.

It was very unfortunate to arrive at the airport and try to call for a shuttle when the phone number did not work. I called numerous times and the phone number was not valid. I actually called another Marriott in the area and they too tried to call the hotel. We had to pay for our own Uber even though we purposely booked this hotel with Hotel transportation. Disappointing and we were not expecting to pay $40 for a shuttle. Other than that no complaints.

They downfall to this property is the airport shuttles only run 6:00am -10:00 pm that is not disclosed in reservations we had a 6:00 am flight so had to pay for Uber to get to airport,

Breakfast needed more variety, the pool was out of order due to construction.

Very clean spacious and upkept room. The pool are was adequate and the fitness room was workout worthy... the staff were very friendly

Last minute choice here, service was good, rooms were decent but pool and spa was oit of service which was disappointing.

Airport shuttle does not operate before 7am.

I was highly disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel rooms. Yes, rooms because we had to change. Upon arrival, the hotel looked very clean, safe, and quiet. We arrived the same time as another couple. While awaiting to be checked in, the attendant was arguing with a customer on the phone. Check in was a breeze and we ended up catching the elevator with the couple and ironically got off on the same floor; the 4th. When we got to our room, we noticed one of the beds looked as if someone had laid on it to watch tv. We went back downstairs to switch. We saw that the same couple that came in with us was there as well. However we couldn’t tell why. We got our rooms exchanged without any issues other than the attendant being noticeably annoyed. When we got to our second room, the appearance was better at first sight. However, there was a hand towel hung on the rack by sink that was noticeably dirty with what looked like something was wiped or it was just moldy. Long stands of hair all over the bathroom floor. This wasn’t necessarily a deal breaker as we only needed the room for one night and we lost confidence that we would get anything better. We caught the other couple on the elevator once more and they mentioned they had to change rooms because the first one smelled like coffee and urine, and the bathroom light didn’t work. When taking a shower that night, we noticed blood on the shower curtain. Highly disappointed with the lack of cleanliness.

Every thing was good except that there were hairs in the bathroom and in the shower.

Nice, clean, modern place. Would come back again.

This was possibly the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at at the price point.

A lot of noise. Bikers revving their engines until 3am. No security to get them to stop. Found some bugs in my bed as well. Not somewehre I'd stay again

Thin walls led to very little sleep as the people in the next room kept pounding on the wall and making noise long into the night.

Very spacious, bed was comfy. Friendly staff, definitely staying here from now on.

Hotel is good. But the A/C made lot of noise though it looked new one. Because of loud noise could not sleep properly

We stayed in a family suite to fit my family of five (needed a room for the night because our Westjet flight to Canada was cancelled due to a strike). The room has 2 queen beds and a queen sofa bed. Breakfast included. Clean modern room and facilities, friendly service. Free airport shuttle is also available. PHX is about 9 minutes away.

Room was clean and comfortable! Staff was so nice and helpful! Bonus on the sound proof walls! Enjoyed our stay immensely!

Our room was pleasant looking, pretty comfy, and the TV had Netflix, YouTube, and HBO max which was a plus. Nice relaxed noon check out time. No complaints!

Excellent service

Quick and easy check-in. Friendly staff at front desk reception. Was a great place to rest, and have some light breakfast before hitting the road.

The staff at Fairfield Marriott in Tempe/Phoenix were exceptional. They were friendly and very helpful, especially when I discovered that I had left my laptop charger in the hotel room. They contacted me very quickly and I was able to get my charger back easily. It was a great experience—I will definitely be staying here again.

This hotel was amazing. The staff was amazing. They made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. The breakfast was always stocked, hot and clean. Would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a great place to stay👍👍👍👍👍

Great hotel but Jim the shuttle driver is by far the best thing about the place. Kind, caring, funny and really went out of his way for me to ensure my evening was comfortable and enjoyable. I appreciate his huge heart and his good taste in icecream:)

Clean modern facility with easy access to any of the highways.

From the moment we got off of the plane, they were so accommodating and friendly! We had an early arrival at 8 am. The shuttle came to pick us up from the airport and when we arrived they were able to check us in right away. This was a huge relief as we had 3 kids and many bags of luggage with us. The breakfast buffet was very, very good! They worked so hard to keep it well stocked. The room was spacious and very clean. I loved that there was a little living area with its own tv. The pool was big enough for our family to really enjoy starting our vacation. The only downside was that there was not a lot of walkable dining options close. But overall, I would highly recommend this hotel!

I stay here all the time when I come in to see my daughter at ASU. It’s very close to the school and very comfortable.

Great hotel for an airport overnight. Van came quickly, service friendly, clean, modern and efficient. Good Wi-Fi and transportation to local restaurants. Perfect for an overnight stay in PHX!

Breakfast was wonderful everyday.

Clean room and friendly staff at check in. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30 and we needed to leave for airport shortly after. The breakfast staff had arrived late to work so when we had to leave at 6:50 the breakfast wasn’t ready yet. Quite a few customers standing there waiting. Otherwise a nice clean hotel.

The location and staff were great. The breakfast is good, only bummer was that it's not replenished often once it runs out. Other than that, it was a great weekend stay! Would recommend.

We were staying as our air conditioner needed to be replaced and it would be a couple of days before the new one could be installed. The staff was amazing to make us comfortable. The breakfast was good and there were a lot of options. The hotel was quiet. Once inside the room we weren't bothered by the hall noise. I would definately stay again.

The breakfast was not very good. Microwaved items are not my type things that I consider acceptable. Food made from scratch or cook yourselves is what I remember.

There was hair on the bed sheets when we arrived. Only one trash bag (none in bathroom). Free breakfast had several options, but hot food was barely warm, no where to heat it up and everything was loaded with sugar, ie sugar pearl waffles, muffins with sugar. As a diabetic, there were very few options for me outside of cold, watery eggs, cold bacon/sausage, and a banana or apple. Nice place to stay, but need more diverse options for breakfast or at least make sure it's hot.
