とても清潔でラウンジもゆっくり使用できて幸いでしたが、一つだけ改善していただきたいのが、大浴場の件です、到着時に不具合で使用できないと告げられて、入浴を楽しみにしていたのに、がっかりしながら諦めてがいしました。翌朝庭を見ながら偶然浴場の前を歩いていたらオープンの表示があり他のお客様にお聞きしたところ昨夜からオープンしていましたよとのことて、就寝前に広いお風呂にはいりたかったので、使用できるようになったとの知らせがなく残念だった。

大浴場が故障で使えず、という話だけではなく、チェックインしてから部屋の見回りの点検でホテルの人間が部屋に入るなど、結構ガッカリ。朝食も良い値段なのでそれなりに期待していたが、直に調理しているのは単なる目玉焼きなど、全体に平凡で美味しくも無かった。これなら錦市場に行った方が良かった。

We like the breakfast options as well as their afternoon sembei, wine hour, and ochazuke hour. Having this space available for our group of eight travelers was a plus to let us chat. The staff are excellent at arranging for cabs and other needs. The facility has a public bath too. The laundry only has 2 washers so it can get backed up as the dryers needed 2x to dry. We did a search for coin laundry nearby and found a good one with large washer/dryer units that would complete it in 1 hour that was a couple of blocks away. One of our friends left a duty free package and they found it and shipped it to a relative so we could pick it up later. I have stayed here multiple times now.

Overall a nice hotel. Daily refreshments and snacks depending on the time of day was a nice touch but the front desk staff did not tell us about this when we checked in, still managed to enjoy it so no harm done. Facilities were ok with massage chairs, onsen and only two washing machines available, with such a busy hotel it was a fight for vacancy!

The Sento was always clean and never overcrowded. The Room was confortable and spacious. The complementary coffee was very good. They even had complementary massage chairs in the sento's lounging area ! Very agréable stay.

A really good stay at Intergate in Kyoto! Small but functional room, with all amenities to be picked up at the reception (even cleansers + facial creams etc). Very friendly staff - always attentive and eager to help. The area was fantastic - easy to walk around, and lots of lovely restaurants 2 minutes walk away from the hotel! The Lounge was a great surprise, as this was very downscaled on the website and on hotels.com. They served free coffee and tea all day, and from 5-7pm they served sparkling, red and white wine, as well as beer - together with light snacks. And; the breakfast was better than Hilton in Hiroshima - by a mile!!! A great recommondation!

Efficient electronic check-in with assistance from the friendly and courteous staff. Room a bit small, however very clean and fresh, including linen and towels. Amenities such as toothbrush, skin creams, tea and hair brushes are available in the lobby when required. Breakfast area and lounge are kept very clean and tidy by the staff. A good variety of Japanese and western items for breakfast. In the evening, the hotel provides snacks and wine. A pleasant amenity after a day of walking and touring. The public heated bath helped to soothe a tired body. Alas, no sauna. The hotel is within a 10 minute walk of the train station, and easily accessible by other public transportation. Walk to shopping, restaurants and many cultural sites. This hotel is a convenient place to stay. Although it is busy with tour groups, it is not overly crowded, except at breakfast before 8.00/8.30. The staff advises which mornings are likely to be busy. One suggestion: A few more hooks, racks and shelves for clothes, personal items and wet towels would be helpful. Really lovely staff, courteous and helpful. Will stay here again.

Wir haben uns in dem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer waren sauber. Jedoch war die Luft trotz Liftreiniger nicht gut. Es war sehr oft stickig im Zimmer und die Fenster konnte man wie in vielen Hotels in Japan nicht öffnen. Trotzdem sehr schön und gemütlich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Man konnte seine Wäsche waschen und es gab Massagesessel in der Lobby. Was uns gut gefallen hat, waren die Tipps über den Blütenstand der Kirschblüten in Kyoto. Im Zimmer war reichlich Platz für 3 Koffer und 1 Kinderwagen. Nur leider kaum Platz um Wäsche aufzuhängen.

This hotel was GREAT! We got connecting rooms for a family of 4, two twin beds in each bedroom and 2 bathrooms. They say soundproof rooms and they really were. We heard nothing! Beds were firm but still comfy. The staff was super helpful and ordered our taxis each morning. There was paid breakfast available but free coffee, plus free afternoon snacks and drinks. Lobby and additional seating area were spacious. Laundry was available but only two machines that both wash and dry so it takes about 2.5-3hrs and many guests were trying to do laundry at same time so don’t expect to do a bunch of loads all at once. The famous Nishiki Market only about 8 minute walk and train station about 15 minute taxi ride. I wish every hotel was this great!

Wven though the hotel is in the middle of everything, it was very quiet. Loved the Onsen & massage chairs. The room was bigger than I expected, given that most hotel rooms in Japan are tiny. This one felt like the size of a hotel room in the USA. My only minor complaint is I had asked them if my friend could check in before I got there and still put the room charge on my card that I used for the reservation. They said yes in the expedia messages, but when she got there, they made her use a machine to check in which required her credit card. When I got there a couple hours later, they could not change the charge to my card. Nor could they split the room charges. Like I said, a small issue, but I would have paid in advance if I had known they couldn't or wouldn't let her access the room before I got there. Overall, it's a lovely hotel and would stay there again.

The property was beautiful and nice to stay at. The size of the room was large especially compared to other hotels in the area. However, the fact that one has to pick up many toiletries in the the first floor common area is horrendous. It is the job of cleaning staff to restock your room, not my job as guest to restock basic toiletries in the receiving area. Also the fact that if you loose one of the plastic keys to the room you'll be charged 3200 Yen is ourtrageous.

Loved this hotel. The location is somewhat off the beaten path, but it was quiet, safe, well-appointed and central. Bus and taxi transportation is really easy in Kyoto, so not being as close to a train station wasn't a big deal. We had a very nice stay and would stay again.

Location is superb, close to shopping and Nishiki Market is only about 8 minutes away, but area is also quiet and comfortable. The hotel also provides free drinks and snacks in the afternoon, as well as a late night snack. There is also a communal bath where we can relax after a busy day of sightseeing and shopping. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Kyoto.

This is 2nd time to visit since last year. Location is so great to collect a bus and subway too. Little tips for the beginner how to reach over. Make sure where you got a traffic point for start. If Kyoto station, bus no. 50 四条洞庭 get off (15 mins) or 阪急烏丸 Hankyu Karasuma station or subway 四条 shijo station

Excellent hotel, service and staff. Very well maintained property. The breakfast was great. Within easy walking distance from public transportation (both bus and train) and restaurants. Hotel window offers bright diffuse light but does not open; it is understandable given that the hotel is surrounded by other buildings at close proximity. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Really nice place to stay all around. The rooms are spacious and clean. Aside from the wonderful breakfast, there are juices, milk and coffee available throughout the day as well as a late night light meal, all included without additional charge.

The public bath was good but the water temperature could have been warmer. The hotel has a free wine hour, snacks, and ochazuke hour. There are nice added features. The breakfast selection are very nice. We have a vegetarian in our family and she had a lot of choice with the vegitable centered breakfast.
