Quiet, clean, and very pleasant staff. The street setting may not be the most quaint in the city, but it was convenient to the places we visited

Safe location, about 15 min walk to Central station and 12 min walk to China town. Several grocers within 3-4 min walk. Eateries are within walking distance as well. Room is clean and mattress is firm and comfortable. Would stay again.

A very unpleasant stay. The room itself was small (no desk or chair), with barely enough space to open two suitcases or store clothes, and it lacked even the most basic amenities. No coffee maker, no complimentary water unless you join their program, and no phone in the room — meaning you have to physically go to reception for anything. In addition, the hotel description stating that air conditioning was available was simply not accurate. The temperature was centrally controlled, so I had no ability to adjust it, and there was barely any airflow — I couldn’t feel any air blowing in the room at all. Opening the windows didn’t solve anything either. After the second night, one of the large windows was locked “for safety reasons,” leaving almost no ventilation. If safety was truly a concern, proper protections should have been installed instead of removing the ability to open the window. The result was a room that was unbearably hot and impossible to stay in during the day. For the price I paid, this was the worst stay of my entire trip. I will not be choosing Motel One again

Didn't use many if the facilities but the hotel was 20 min walk to Centraal station so quite convenient. Room was a little warm on arrival but the air conditioning worked reasonably well. Could have done with tea ans coffee making facilities in the room.
