Hampton by Hilton Antwerp Central Station

Prima hotel! Ik was super leuk verrast omdat ik ‘s ochtend jarig was. Vriendelijk personeel. Bedden zijn aan de harde kant.. Verder prima kamer met goed werkende airco. Helaas wel erg gehorig en we werden om 7 uur gewekt door de werkzaamheden van het pand ernaast. Parkeren is in een externe garage op paar minuutjes lopen. Via het hotel kun je een uitrijkaart kopen voor 16 euro. Prima locatie recht tegenover het station. Om de hoek zijn een paar restaurantjes met terras. Je staat in een 5 minuten wandelen op winkelstraat Meir. De pleintjes met terras zijn wat verder lopen (circa 20 minuten).

Great place, very convenient. Seemed a little short staffed when we arrive and had to wait to check in since the guy was making drinks as well. Great breakfast. Would stay again if in the area.

Locatie, locatie, locatie. Trage lift, te weinig liftcapaciteit

Hotel is super handy if you need to be near the train station. Easy walk across the street. Nice lobby and helpful staff. Decent breakfast which was included. We felt the area around the hotel was lacking good, quaint restaurants. Very busy area with lots of fast food. The hotel bar looked nice but was missing a bartender and good drink selection.

En något för hård säng för min del. Annars var allt bra, frukost helt ok, gymmet enkelt men funktionellt !

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, der CheckIn ging sehr schnell, das Frühstück war gut. Zwei negative Dinge: Das Hotel war voll, wir haben uns einen späten TimeSlot für das Frühstück zuweisen lassen, trotzdem war der Frühstücksraum überfüllt, wir mussten ein paar Minuten warten bis wir 2 Plätze bekamen. Das Personal war immer am Rennen, trotzdem fehlte manchmal etwas. Sehr positiv hierbei, der Tank für das Orangensaftkonzentrat war leer, es kam nur etwas gefärbtes Wasser. Das hat ein Servicemitarbeiter gesehen und mir später ein Glas Orangensaft gebracht. Sehr aufmerksam. Das 2. Problem, es gibt nur 2 Aufzüge, einer davon war defekt. Die Rezeption ist im 1. OG, wir waren im 7. OG. Es gab immer lange Wartezeiten beim lift

Goed gelegen hotel. Nette kamer gekregen op de 6de verdieping; geen straatlawaai gehoord. Goede douche. Vriendelijk personeel. Als je parkeert in parkingVesting in de Vestingstraat, kan je in het hotel een dagticket krijgen voor17euro ipv 22euro

Centralt placeret hotel. Meget stort og rummeligt værelse, pænt og rent. Selv om det ligger ved banegården er der ingen gener af støj på hotellet. Morgenmaden er lækker. Eneste minus er at kommer du i bil, kan du ikke køre hen til hotellet. Man skal parkerer i en p-kælder 5-7 minutters gang fra hotellet.

Location (by train station) couldn’t have been better. Staff was very welcoming and helpful (especially Alfi). Breakfast was solid and gym had enough to get the job done. Room was the perfect size and all was clean. I was quite happy with my stay and would recommend to one and all visitors of Antwerp.

Ideaal gelegen voor een city-trip naar Antwerpen. Geen eigen parkeergelegenheid en geen eigen restaurant, maar op loopafstand van openbare parkeergarages en restaurants. Gym is niet heel uitgebreid, maar heeft mijns inziens alles wat nodig is. De douche is matig. Waterdruk is beroerd en de watertemperatuur was niet constant.

A clean and tidy hotel in a convenient location for visiting the city. A 15 minute walk puts you in the historic centre with Grote Markt and Groen Plaats easily accessible. The hotel breakfast offers a fair selection, although occasionally plates and mugs need replenishing a little more frequently. Our room was immaculately clean, had everything we needed (with the possible exception of a fridge). Beds were fairly comfortable if a little firm, although the air conditioning didn't seem to be doing anything useful as when set to 19C, it got no cooler than 22C and was 23.5C when going to sleep. Not a problem, but a nice addition would be some USB sockets near the beds. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider hat die Klimaanlage nicht funktioniert und so blieb die Zimmertemperatur bei 18 Grad konstant stehen (Letztes Jahr im August hat sie einwandfrei funktioniert) und es war sehr kalt beim Duschen. Außerdem hatte mein Zimmer 203 einen mittelgroßen Schimmelfleck im Bad an der Decke und der Teppichboden war schon ziemlich abgenutzt.

Room carpet very dirty, breakfast not thr highlight just basic. Room was extremely cold, took 2 days to get a room heater in my 3 day stay. Close to station, basic hotel!

Had provided breakfast with a good selection of items and a well equipped gym! The carpets in the room looked a bit aged, but otherwise the room was clean and the cleaning staff do a great job with making up the room.

De locatie is perfect. Het personeel fantastisch. Ook de dames in get restaurant bij het ontbijt. Top. Minder vond ik hrt tapijt op de vloer op de kamers zaten vlekken en de vensterbank was vergeten schoon te maken. Er zat stof en haar van wrsch de vorige logees. Mijn kamer was duidelijk bedoelt voor minder valide gasten maar dat was geen probleem. Al met al een prettig verblijf.

Hôtel propre confortable et bien situé (tout près de la gare d’Anvers). Hélas quelques détails viennent entacher la note: petite fuite d’eau au plafond générant un goutte à goutte désagréable tout au long de notre séjour,avec différentes traces d’humidité témoignant de la récurrence du problème. Dysfonctionnement observé dans la mise en œuvre d’une des lampes de chevet.

The hotel is located very centrally. The staff was friendly and the room was spacious and clean.

It’s a hotel, you expect room service every day, however no room service due to a public holiday and no room service on a Sunday! Hotel needs a good clean and some painting. Carpet in room grubby. Towels ok but could be better. With no room service and damp towels, we were expected to go to reception for new towels. Loo roll not replaced, corridors/room not hoovered. Staff seemed to think it’s usual not to work in a hotel on a holiday! Breakfast very disappointing. Poor fruit salad, mainly chopped apple! No fresh decaf coffee, very concentrated orange juice. Overall disappointing and not Hilton quality. Had stayed here 2 years ago and it was much better. Location good for centre of Antwerp.

We had an excellent experience at the Hampton by Hilton Antwerp. We came in by train and the station is just across the street from the hotel. Lots of restaurants and places of interest were in walking distance. The rooms were clean, comfortable and bright. There was a great breakfast included with lots of options. Finally, the staff was friendly and very helpful.

What i think would be great if the rooms had a mini fridge .

The location is good; right next to the train station and only a 20-25 minute walk the main part of town. My main complaint is the bathroom door in the room. It was mostly glass, so when someone turned on the light in the bathroom, the entire hotel room lit up.

The hotel is very well located next to the main station with a lot of restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room and bathroom were very clean and of satisfactory size. My only reservation was a lack of storage space with only 2 drawers in the room.

Beetje koud in ruimte voor ontbijt en hele harde bedden.

The hotel is right of the central station, very convenient, staffs are very nice and welcoming. Room is clean and spacious and quiet.

We only missed the watercooker when arriving and had to wait one day for this. And we missed the toiletbrush. Recommend also a plastic cup for the toothbrush to put in on the bathroom. For the rest we enyoyed the stay.

If the rooms had a mini fridge it would be perfect

Very good location and fantastic breakfast but the WiFi was a bit spotty at times.

The heating didn't work correctly and the service guy told me that he would come back in 1 hour to check it again, but he never came back.

Not a great hotel for families. Rooms very dated. Carpets in the rooms and nasty stains all over them, feels very dirty. Bed like a block of wood and pillows with filling all knotted and bunched in places. No sound proofing at all so can hear people in the hallways, and very busy train station right outside so very loud. Parking very far, so if coming with a car avoid this hotel at all costs, if not for the reasons above anyway. Arrived at 11pm with 2 very tired children, 2 and 4 years old. No parking at all outside, risked parking in the road for a few minutes while unloading the bags. Asked wife to go and check in so I could park the car. Parking is 15/20 minutes away including walk back to hotel. Asked my wife to check in and go to the room. Her purse and phone was in the car in the hurry. When I got to the hotel they were still at reception and was told receptionist wouldn’t give the key because the tourist tax had to be paid. I asked the receptionist why couldn’t you give my wife and kids the room key as I was coming back and it’s 11pm for a 2 and 4 year old who were very restless and making it difficult for wife to look after. Fee was only €5 and all she said is I can’t give it, there’s cameras all over watching me. It’s such a stupid excuse, and doesn’t care about customers at all and their struggles. Wife was struggling for 20 minutes with 2 children who were rolling around the floor while she just watched on. They could have been in bed, and all for €5.

Across street from train station. Staff amazingly patient as they checked in all arriving visitors with the electricity completely off in the whole building on arrival. Emergncy stair lighting on .. restored after 3 hours. A story to tell.

Thank Mr Reginold's help, I booked when I checked in. Although I paid successfully in the App, the hotel did not have a room, and he helped me find an available room.

Second time here and unfortunately hotel seems to have gone downhill. Not enough staff at busy times main issue (slow check in and no cups/ plates etc at breakfast)

With medium to high expectation prior checking in Hilton chain hotel - Hampton, well, it is absurdly disappointing to be greeted by reception around 2-3pm (was unable to retrieve the said receptionist name due to the fact that he was rude and lazy to talk to us). As a hotel guests to be greeted and represented by rude reception fronting customer and representing Hampton by Hilton is pathetic - leaves much to be desired and we won’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Pls revisit your customer training program for hotel staff please. Definitely not coming back. Pay money and not getting equivalent respect.

Property was clean, good location to the train station. Outside of hotel it was dirty, smokers should be fined for throwing cigarettes!

Increíble ubicación frente a la estación central

Great location and good access to the city, nice staff and clean comfy large room. Only downside is the building next door is being renovated so we were woken up to the sound of someone power drilling at 0730, unbelievably noisy and ruined our stay.

Great location for train station and day trips to Ghent and Brugge. Excellent breakfast. Nice staff. Busy area around hotel and station.

Extremely convenient to Antwerp Centraal Railway Station.

Goede locatie, aan de overkant van centraal station Antwerpen en daarmee echt centrum Antwerpen dus dichtbij winkels en veel horeca gelegenheden.

Heel erg gastvrij ontvangen, kamer was zeer netjes en schoon! Ondanks dat het hotel ernaast verbouwd werd daar totaal geen geluidsoverlast van gemerkt!

Great location next to Antwerpen-Centraal station. Several Tram/Metro/Bus stop directly in front of hotel, with a large variety of dining and shopping options. Make sure to visit the Chocolate Museum… it is fantastic!

Great location right across the street from Antwerp Central Station. About a 15 minute walk to historic area. Entire walk is through the shopping district, a very comfortable walk for us. Front desk staff with all our interactions were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast area is large and lots of choices both hot and cold.

Good location for train obviously. Decent room but breakfast was a complete debacle. Never see so many people. Nowhere to sit and they ran out of cups. The staff did their best but they simply could not accommodate or cater for a full hotel. For that reason only I won’t be staying their again

Recht tegenover het station een fijn hotel. Een aanrader. Ontbijt is gewoon goed, maar niet uitzonderlijk. Dat is het overige wel.

The breakfast was good but very busy. Lines for coffee and waffles. Staff worked hard to keep up with demand.

Positiv: - sehr freundliches Personal an der Rezeption - Check-out bis 12 Uhr ohne Aufpreis - Frühstück vielfältig, u.a. mit Waffeleisen - Zentrale Lage gegenüber Bahnhof - Günstige Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, über die das Hotel aktiv vor der Reise informiert - Ruhige, geräumige Zimmer mit Bügeleisen und Bügelbrett Negativ: - Bad recht kalt - Keine Klobürste - Brötchen beim Frühstück nicht lecker Würde ich wieder buchen. Auch geeignet für Familien.

Great place to stay, not so far from the main attractions of Antwerp. The highlight is the breakfast which is really worth it.
