The breakfast area was not clean. There was no hot water for showers. Has been broken for 2 weeks. Pool was cold because of water heaters broken. Property needs updated. Both of our rooms had plugged kitchen sinks. Not satisfied at all. I have stayed in other homewood suites that were exemplary!

No toiletries offered. All the large shampoo, conditioner, and lotion bottles completely empty, no extra toilet paper in room. If you wanted anything like that you had to call down and ask for it, and they'd bring mini bottles instead of refilling. The pool was shut down by the health Dept, it was posted yet they let people swim in it . Breakfast time one of bosses chewed out a latina employee, and told her to stay where nobody could see her and only come out when she was needed, she had her employee crying.

GREAT location. Can walk to restaurants and a Walmart. Love the outdoor seating and available grill. Full size fridge and my in room was awesome. Laundry room available. Did NOT like the fact that there was no computer available for guest in the business area. First time I have seen that in years.

The location is great. The outside grounds of the hotel need some maintenance. The basketball court flooring was coming apart, the outdoor seating was dirty and a mess. We had a dirty towel laying in our bathroom on a shelf. The handle on the faucet in the bathroom would turn on, but it was lose, so it would not allow me to use the hot water. There were two guys at the front desk when we checked in. The first guy was helping a customer check in. The other guy was socializing with another worker. The first guy had to ask the other one to even knowledge us, even though we were right in front of him for several minutes. He would look at us but would not greet or help us. The first worker had to ask him to check us in. The guy joking said no and then proceed to do so. I know good help is hard to find, but customer service is important. There are other hotels around that area with similar price points if not better. I will definitely try a different one next time.

Facility is great and rooms very spacious. We had a family of 4 kids and disappointed in the indoor pool. The temperature of the pool was ice cold. When we inquired at the front desk they were not helpful nor did anyone offer to reduce our rate.

Was an average experience all the way around. Some attention to detail is needed. No one at the desk for 10 mins when trying to check in. Full trash from previous guest was left in room, took over 20 hrs to empty while leaving it in the hallway and two calls to the front desk. Asked for an emailed receipt and never received one. Sadly what has become expected to be average. Weight room was nice and kept clean. Liked that they had fruit on breakfast bar.

We were very disappointed and expected much more from a Hilton. The front desk was not friendly and barely talked to us. We asked about the pool( which was the one reason we booked) was not open because of a permit! It should have been corrected or at least explained and apologized for! We travel with our young son and after 10 hours in the car he was excited to swim! When my husband asked about it later was told nothing but to call the manager! Terrible customer service! The place was not kept up either. The public bathroom had a plugged sink, the dining area was dirty. Very very disappointed for a Hilton!

Staff was very friendly. We had to ask for additional toilet paper and Kleenex, as we only had half a roll and a few tissues in the tissue box. Beds were clean but a little firm. The room we had was very nice and spacious, but the floors were stained and gross in some areas. Everything else was pretty clean in the room though! We would stay again, but be sure to bring house shoes to walk around in.

Room was not ready at 5:30pm, we were late to our Event. Get in to room, and it was not CLEAN. Like a Bachelorette party was there prior, Masking tape was still on the door way to the bathroom. Food crumbs threw out the room. Pls let in the closet smelt like urine. For a $296 per night.. just not worth it.

For the most part our stay here was good. Rooms are spacious, hotel was pretty quiet even though it was full, desk staff were very friendly and location was great! Only a couple of things that need to be addressed: 1. The ceiling fans in the rooms need to be cleaned! It’s awesome that they are there but we didn’t turn ours on because it was so dirty that I didn’t want to the dust flying around the room. 2. Breakfast: when we went down to breakfast about 8:00 there was no food and no regular coffee. They were working on getting everything restocked but there were a lot of people waiting so we decided to go elsewhere. However, while waiting on some other family members to get downstairs my granddaughter got some fruit to tide her over. As she was eating a strawberry, a live worm came out of the strawberry as she was putting it in her mouth! Disgusting! I know it happens but do a better job of washing the fruit! Also, there’s no juice of any kind. Coffee, milk and water only. 50/50 on whether we would stay here again.

Front desk staff where very nice but the room was a little dirty the top sheet of bed looked stained and the bathroom was not very clean. The only other issue I say is the breakfast that they provide in the morning it was awful the taste was terrible and the counters and tables where dirty and the selection was horrible so I say that was one of our biggest disappointments.

I want to say that the check in staff were kind and accommodating. We were surprised to be told we'd be charged a daily parking fee, we've never been told that before in all the times we stayed there. Seems silly considering we are already paying to be there. The other issue is I don't believe the rooms are thoroughly cleaned. We've noted this on a few visits. This time when we removed couch cushions to set up the pull out bed there was a whole pile of Cheerios underneath the cushions that someone else had left behind. I wish I could attach the picture I took of it. They seem to do a quick run through of rooms but don't really look for messes.

We liked that the facility was pet friendly, and staff members were all extremely kind. However, cleanliness was a big issue. Our room had two queen beds. We unfortunately had to look under the beds because our dog crawled under one of them. The things I found underneath I'd rather not mention. There were also numerous hairs on one of the "clean" towels folded up in the bathroom. We wanted to leave. We will not be back.

Having two separate rooms was fantastic so we could put kids to bed at different times. It truly was a bedroom separated by a regular door. And the front desk was friendly and helpful when we had a minor question. My only disappointment were the TV options. We booked for a fun family getaway so we planned to explore KC but crash at the hotel for swimming and shows with the kids. The only option was regular programming (no subscription capability), but the TV guide channel listed every channel as "no information available". We were stuck with old-school channel surfing. That's definitely unusual for kids these days. Ha! But it made it hard to find something for us to sit together and watch for our winter family stay. The boys all enjoyed the pool!!

Super impressed with our stay, especially for such a reasonable rate. Very clean room and property. Loved having a full-size fridge in the room, and for once a room with good blackout curtains! It was a really easy place to stay with a dog as there were exits with grassy spots immediately outside the elevators. Convenient location, room was quiet, this was a great find!

Bed was itchy and room was average. You can hear through the walls as it’s not sound proof and upstairs guest walking cause disturbance throughout the night. The shampoo and shower gel was also empty. Charging for parking was unacceptable.

The room was oddly laid out. The TV was hard to see from either the couch or the bed and there was not much variety of programs to watch. The desk was broken. Not to mention, but we were woken up at 2:00 a.m. by the fire alarm. Of course, it was a false alarm, thank goodness. Although the breakfast looked like it might have been pretty good, it was closed when we got there. The room was too pricey for what they offered. The idea of having the bathroom wide open to the room was inconvenient.

The property is located in a safe and convenient area. The rooms are very spacious which was a pleasant surprise. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The walls are paper thin - our neighbors had a stomach bug during one of the days and we could hear every wretch and every toilet flush at all hours of the day/night. The toilet sounded like it was in our room!

The room we got was like a mini apartment. Perfect space for our family with kids but they put us on the 4th floor and we have a toddler. The people staying under us complained of noise. Theres one elevator and it was slow with all the traffic from the weekend. Property was clean and without a smell or smoking smell. Bathroom was clean but the fan wasn't working at all, so showers made it foggy pretty quick and the smell after someone going was trapped. Pool was small but a good size. Breakfast had different options and it was ok for the most part.

We called to confirm reservation and rooms prior to showing up. When we arrived we were told the rooms got canceled because they attempted to charge the card that was on the reservation and it declined and instead of calling to check and confirm the card, which we were using a different card to pay, they just canceled the room. Said because they were at capacity they couldn’t get the room back and wouldn’t even try knowing we had the reservation and the guy at the front desk was the one who had confirmed initially anyway.

We booked and prepaid four rooms for three nights and one room for two through Expedia. One room was given away when group did not check in before 11:00pm. So this group was told there was no vacancy and it took over an hour for the hotel to find a room available. Only due to being a Hilton Member did a room become available. We had tried to check in for them but weren’t allowed. Then they were asked to vacate after one night even though we had prepaid for three nights. The group that had the room for two nights added the third night at last minute but not through Expedia. Everything was fine when they checked in online. So when the front desk was asked if group could stay in same room all three nights it was no problem. But when they checked out the hotel charged their credit card for all three nights even though two nights were prepaid through Expedia. This has not been corrected a week after check out. I have never experienced any problems using Expedia in the past. But while the hotel staff did not seem to care for Expedia our bad experience will make using them less likely

It wasn’t the worst stay, wasn’t the best. I don’t expect a great bed, but the beds were awful and hard. Breakfast was just meh, it took us 45 mins to get a waffle for everyone because they only had 1 waffle maker. The 2nd morning breakfast there was a mouse running around the dining area, and multiple customers reported it to staff. Nothing was done. My husband said it ran around all during breakfast. We requested extra blankets our first night and they were out, and both days/nights, we had to ask for towels at the pool as there was none. Our room was clean though, and we were able to use the kitchen area as we wanted.
