Moxy London Heathrow Airport

Perfect location for airport. Rooms clean and staff friendly. Car park great at £15 a day. Tesco express 2 mins away as food and beer quite expensive in hotel but it is London I suppose!

Unique property, with bar and food menu options, that allow you to stay put and no need to venture out if not desired. They had a full bar with good drinks, and a variety of games to help pass the time. We played scrabble while relaxing with a few beers. Rooms are clean and beds are comfy. Hot shower was appreciated as well. Wish we had stayed here our entire trip but only chose one night due to its close proximity to the airport. Airport bus makes stops here every half hour.

It's the perfect place to stay on the outskirts of central London, it has its own bar, restaurant, pool table, photo booth, ping pong table, stage for music, foosball, computer station, its own mini store 🏪 for whatever you may need.. easy transportation from bus to underground to central London from airport, the bus is right out front from the Moxy.. all and all it's a really cool place to go of all ages

The room was sufficient. Charging ports were next to the bed which was nice. Bathroom was very small and compact. The shower was very weak. But the towels were nice. The bed was too soft for our liking and we rolled towards each other. The TV was mounted too low, it was not possible to watch TV when lying down in bed, would have been better if they were higher. Breakfast was decent, with cold meats cheese and salad, yoghurt and fruit, good selection of pastries, and nice hot options in scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, beans and pancakes. The hash browns were dry and hard. Good selection of sauces available too. Nice coffee machine for good hot drinks options and there were orange and apple juice on tap too. The gym had weights, a rowing machine, a bench, bike and treadmill, and equipment for boxing. The gym was clean, and has a supply of water and towels. Overall a decent stay for the money.

The Moxy is perfect if you are travelling out of Heathrow and need somewhere convenient to stay near the airport. Facilities are excellent, with a great bar, food and leisure facilities. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only thing that was not so great was that a light came on randomly in the middle of the night UNDER THE BED! Never seen anything like it before. Made sleeping challenging. Eventually stopped. Weird.

I had just come from another MOXY which was in tip top shape so the conditions here surprised me. The bathroom needed a serious cleaning. Overall, it is an airport hotel and quick taxi or bus ride to Heathrow. It just felt like it needed a good cleaning.

Superb spotless room, excellent service by the helpful staff. Very interesting and quirky design and ethos. A very different fun experience than your average hotel and even a welcome cocktail on arrival.

Clean room, friendly staff,

Spotless room and very comfortable bed. No extra pillows so had to ask, weird layout of plug sockets and light switches. Terrible selection for tea and coffee in the room so I’d advise bringing your own if you’re a hot drink lover. Ideal location and friendly staff. Didn’t try the food as there were cheaper options nearby. I’d happily stay here again.

Room was ok, bathroom could of been a bit cleaner

This property is not conveniently located near the tube or Heathrow airport, making transportation expensive or a lot of walking. The rooms are clean, but the reception/eating area is dirty. Tables are dirty, furniture is stained and dirty. I don’t mind shabby chic, but dirty is another matter. The amusements in the group area were incomplete or broken- eg pool table wasn’t working. Bedroom did not have a small safe for valuables. Snacks were not appetizing nor healthy. Would not stay again.

Sound isolation windows not thick enough, we could still hear the passing planes (other hotels do it better). The room was pretty dirty. Lots of dust, the area around the espresso machine was disgusting, mould and a couple of tiny insects crawling. The bathroom was clean though. Staff at desk was friendly and efficient. Breakfast edible, nothing special about it but sufficient. Next time in Heathrow we will look at a different place I’m afraid.

Spotless rooms great staff

Great rooms! NOT small like others complain. Clean quiet, functional A great overnight stop on the way home

The AC did not cool the room down. I was told due to the property’s environmental commitments they could not turn the temperature down. Great, environment vs being in a hot room for the night. The alternative was open the window and listen to the airliners land every two minutes or move (after we had unpacked). Okay, fine, I’ll choose another property the next time I’m on vacation.

Clean, quiet, excellent breakfast bar, handy for taxi service, plenty of room amenities although the internet access was extremely poor.

Family room was perfect for us the night before am early flight

We stayed for 2 weeks in October 2025. This is not really a hotel designed for longer stays. No dressers, closets or armoires for storing clothes, for example, so we lived out of packing cubes to keep from having our stuff strew around the (pretty small) rooms. Otherwise it was fine - comfortable beds, windows that opened so you could get some fresh air and cool the rooms down a bit, everything clean and in good shape. One thing we noted was that, probably because their typical customer is just passing through town in a day or two, they don't do daily housekeeping unless you ask for it. We did, and they did. There were only 2 things that kindasorta irked me, but not enough to look for a different place the next time we're in west London. No safes - which is a bit weird, buy they control access to all floors above the lobby with key cards. Also no fridges in the rooms. There wasn't much place to put a bar fridge, which is a problem as my wife travels with insulin that needs to be kept cool. We wound up using a really tiny minifridge we bought the first time we used this hotel and kept at a relative's house - cheap and effective. Didn't like the breakfast a bit. Noticeably more expensive than other hotels in the area, and frankly nowhere near the quality. We enjoyed the walk up the Bath Road to the next nearest hotel with a breakfast buffet, which ran about 20% cheaper.

The Expedia website for this hotel says it is a 5 minute drive from Heathrow airport. I recently (August 8, 2025) took a taxi from Heathrow to the hotel and it was at least a 20 minute drive and cost me 40GBP !! In addition, the restaurant was closed when I got in and it is the only hotel room I've ever seen that has NO CLOSET, only 3 hangers on a rod, sticking out from the wall.No mini fridge either.The thermostat could not be changed, only turned on or off, with the suggestion to open the window if it was too warm.This however resulted in enormous noise from the planes taking off. The staff however was friendly and informed me about the HotelHoppa bus, at a much more reasonable rate, that I could take back to Heathrow .

My stay was ok. I wish there was a mini fridge and a closet so I didn't have to run downstairs for everything and love out of my suitcase. Apart from those things, it's a good place to stay if you're only in search of somewhere close to the airport to shower and sleep.

The public areas at the MOXYi are different from any other hotel I have ever stayed at but great fun. The bedroom was superb and the double glazing made it a plane spotters paradise - Highly recommended

Good location for Heathrow. Lobby area was nice with games to play if you wished. There was a terrible sewage smell around the lift area and also in corridors but luckily not in room. Room was very small and no storage.

Very old and dirty in a terrible area. I showed up and the staff said they couldn’t find my reservation and I had to wait 30 mins for them to find it. The person at the front was so rude while he did it.

It was ok. Quite rude and unbothered men working at the reception. Wouldn’t like to visit this hotel again.

I was charged a smoking fee off £140. However I do not smoke. I was very dissatisfied and will make sure to tell all my friends and family never to stay there again. This has not only caused me financial stress but has also caused me to be very upset as the staff are lying about a smoking fee and would not help me any further.

Really let me down. Been going to this hotel regularly for pre Heathrow travel. Arrived late and they did not have a room. Transferred me to Slough. Went to bed at 2am. Paid extra for taxi back to heathrow

The staff was awesome! Our early arrival was met with an available room and cocktail! I will definitely stay here when taking an early flight!

Great stay and amazing staff

Our second stay at MOXY and it was just as comfortable as the first. Staff is great, rooms are comfortable, easy location to airport.

It would be a much nicer stay if the reception were friendly and welcoming. We were treated very poorly by one guy who was rude and unwelcoming.

Loved the concept of property, very cute! Hotel near convenience store for necessities and nearby public transport stop for access to central London.

Hotel super nice but super expensive. Very clean. Breakfast amazing with lots of choices. Very modern. Staff decently friendly. Neighborhood very lacking. Hotel feel extremely out of place in the surrounding neighborhood.

We love the Moxy -whenever we have to stay near Heathrow. We always try to stay at the Moxy. It’s on the Bath road where all the major hotel chains are on. You can get there from Heathrow terminal bus station on 2 of the local buses - they go straight past it. The rooms are always clean, neat & compact. Staff are always friendly. Then, when you’re ready to go back to the airport, just hop on the local bus right outside the Moxy and it takes you to Heathrow terminal. They have a shuttle but there’s no need to pay the $$ Highly recommend you turn right outside the Moxy go past Tescos. Treat yourself to ‘Heathrow kebab’ absolutely phenomenal -best Donna ever.

Good place to stay. Staff could have been more friendly and informative, but awesome place to stay. Take bus 111 to Heathrow for 2 pounds instead of 14 pound direct bus. Same thing and only takes a few minutes. From Heathrow, you can take the tube downtown and then take the 111 back to the hotel. That’s the most cost efficient way to travel to and from the hotel. An uber from the last tube station was around 17 pounds as there is no direct route and there is no bus directly from the tube station. Take the tube to Heathrow, then go to the bus station at the airport. From there, take bus 111 for around 2 pounds.

Surprisingly chic! Love the vibe and decor. Friendly staff, bed is comfortable. The best is transportation if you are stopping over to transfer flights, the bus stop is in front of the building to the airport and the bus stop from the airport and to other areas is 3 mins walk. Bed is comfortable and room AC works well. I would probably give a 0-1 star for the breakfast. We paid for the breakfast but the quality is not good at all. Lots of options but overall just did not taste good. The bacon super salty, dry and waffle is extremely sweet, almost like eating sugar cube, the mixed fruits tasted bitter...There is plenty of room for improvement since the breakfast is about £15 per person. I would stay again but will not choose to add breakfast to the stay.

The room had everything I needed for a one night stay at Heathrow. The downside was that this hotel does not have a restaurant, as the adjacent restaurant closed before the pandemic, but has a cafe where you can order bar food. The bar food, however, was surprisingly good - I had a vegetable curry that was better than many dishes I have had at other hotels at Heathrow that do have restaurants (I have stayed at most of them over the years!). The price for a stay was extremely good.

Super helpful staff, they let me know the most economical route to the airport. LOVE the progressive, funky style without compromising cleanliness. excellent breakfast.... Definitely would rebook!!

Hotel ok. Least favourite Moxy so far. Food hopelessly overpriced. Chips means half a pack of crisps, chicken burger less appetising than KFC and smaller. But nearly £20? Profiteering at its finest. The staff are lovely though and not their fault. Room could have been better maintained. The area to east side of hotel very scruffy and homeless drug addicts lurk around the shops.

Although we liked this modern hotel we were disappointed with breakfast. Fruit bowl empty, cold scrambled eggs, no sausages and limited cutlery. Also, one thin pillow per person is not enough. Liked the modern quirky vibe and the staff were lovely and very helpful.

Nice hotel convenient to airport. Had their pizza for dinner and very good. Hotel is cashless, bed pillows are similar to what you get on an airplane. Not the best for a long stay.
