The Oceaneer’s renovation is beautifully done, with fresh, modern rooms and nautical touches that feel right at home by the ocean. Everything feels clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. Private beach access puts you just steps from the sand, making it easy to head out for a morning walk or spend the whole afternoon by the water. The large, spotless pool is perfect for a lazy afternoon, and the beach cruiser bikes are a great touch for exploring the island. Between the beach, the pool, and the relaxed atmosphere, it’s easy to settle in and slow down. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxed stay in Carolina Beach that still feels special, the Oceaneer is worth booking. It has the charm of a smaller beach hotel with the fresh feel of a beautifully renovated property.

Over all it was fine, except I stood Sunday to Tuesday and hotel was almost empty. However, they put some noisy gest on top of my room and I could hear every their step. Also the night lights outside were so bright and there is no way to black out the windows.

This is a beautiful little boutique hotel if you're looking for someplace nicer than a mildewed motel!! The decor is fabulous, rooms are comfortable and well appointed, and location at the south (quieter) end of Carolina Beach, just before it becomes Kure beach, is great, There is a nice gym and pretty outdoor pool. The only downside is that there are no oceanfront balconies, but with the ocean steps away, that isn't a big issue.

This hotel is south of the loud business of the boardwalk. It is a family friendly beach that was clean and roomy. The hotel itself was wonderful. The staff is helpful when needed. They have delicious coffee available all day.

Beautiful renovation, lovely room and comfortable bed!!! Only 2 suggestions for improvement - LIGHT BLOCKING CURTAINS - the wooden shutters do not block the bright hallway lights which are ON ALL NIGHT!!! With conservation in mind as stated in the hotel's own mission statement - TURN OFF THE LIGHTS AT NIGHT!!! Second - a drying facility or area should be provided as guests are not allowed to hang beach towels over the railings: our towels remained damp and we had nowhere to dry them after the beach or pool. Otherwise our stay was perfect!!
