The room was mostly clean but there were a couple of things that were unacceptable 1. 2 of the lamps in the room did not work. The one between the beds could only be operated by plugging or unplugging it. 2. There were none of the standard amenities such as complimentary coffee or tea. 3. There was a dead rat in the parking lot as we were leaving in the morning.

The sheets appeared clean, everything else about the room was pretty rundown, but also dirty (like plenty of loose dirt and dust in the corders of the bathroom). We left our socks on overnight, in the event we would need to go to the bathroom. Other rooms appear to be occupied by residents.

The room smelled of smoke- even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. It was bad enough that I had a hard time sleeping. The bedspreads need to be discarded and replaced. If it had a good cleaning, it would have been a decent stay.

We stayed at this "motel" on a weekend anniversary trip because it was the only thing available (only booked a week before arrival). I wasn't expecting anything great, but I was at least expecting a clean, fully functional room. This place is in my top-3 list of "worst hotel rooms I've ever stayed in". Where to begin? The good: it's a place to stay that isn't sleeping in your car. The bad: pretty much everything else. The bed was old and uncomfortable. The sheets were musty and threadbare. The walls were covered in, what I think was, mold, smoke and tar. The bathroom was disgusting, mildew and mold everywhere, a toilet that had a broken flapper and required constant "fixing", the vent cany was broken, only a half roll of toilet paper provided, the towels smelled and there was somebody else's hair all over them. Basically the room was in bed of a complete renovation and whoever "cleaned" it prior to our arrival should be fired.

I realize the place is old, but improvements can definitely be made. There were cobwebs galore and the room looked like it hadn’t been painted in years. There was mold/mildew in the shower as well as on the walls and floor. The carpeting was badly stained and had frayed areas as well as what appeared to be cigarette burns. (It’s supposed to be a smoke free facility.)

There was no one in the office when we arrived. Had to call number taped to door. Employee cam came over and struggled with the card machine. I needed to help him with buttons to push. He was very friendly and helpful. Gave us key to room and when I opened door, room smelled strongly of smoke and only had 1 bed. I had booked a 2 bed room as I was traveling with my daughter. Employee was able to move us to another room with two beds. This one smelt better but could still smell smoke. Bathroom had good water pressure but there were numerous hairs on the shower wall and soap scum. Way over-priced for a motel that was smelly and marginally clean. Would not stay again or recommend.

Stayed in room 8. Arrived in the evening, couple that welcomed us was pleasant enough. Broken window noticed on arrival (outer pane only). Door knob was only lock - no chain or bolt. Did not feel at all secure. Interior walls were filthy. Smoke detector battery was disconnected. Hair in bathtub. Sheets and bedspread were clean, but had burn holes. If there had been anything else available in a 50 mile radius we would not have stayed.

Regretably, a dump. DIY bathroom marble surround - they went cheap and did not complete the work, there were unfinished edges throughout, with underlayment visible through the poorly-applied sealant. Some faux-marble panels still had pencil marks on them from the (still incomplete) install. FILTH on the floor where the mop in use pushed the filth underneath the baseboard heaters, and the tops of all the baseboard heaters had several years accumulation of FILTH. Garage sale furnishing throughout, scarred dinged and in poor condition. Walls likewise had ample evidence of many, many luggage collisions over the years.

The hotel smelled so strongly of deodorizer it was sickening. Opening all windows was not help. The hardest bed I have ever encountered. Tiles were falling off the wall in the bathroom and stacked in a corner. DO NOT RECOMMEND. really bad

My check in started with a full UNflushed toilet greeting me in the bathroom. The door had a fist sized hole in it. The curtains were damaged enough to be difficult to close fully. The price was advertised at $109 per night for a 2 night stay, but my bill totaled $351. Need I say more?

I'm not sure if I can leave a fair review because my family and I did not stay there overnight. It was dirty and we felt unsafe. We checked in here as it was the only place in Catskill with availability. We placed our things in the room and left to meet up with friends in the area. Upon returning after 8 that night we felt very unsafe. We thought we could handle it but reversed on our decision to stay there. We packed up the car, dropped the key off in the box and left. I just ate the $107. No one was in the office for me to speak to and I just wanted to get the hell out of there.

The people who are running the business are great! I Ran into a small problem, ( with my shower head, ) and reported it. It was fixed in a very timely manner. All smiles and sincerity. Very pleasant experience. Would definitely go there again
