No staff, so its hard to communicate with the "host" especially if they are not close to their phone or mesaging service. Safe batteries are melted. Sombody unlocked my door with the so called "private" code and only stopped because we were inside. You have to walk up 3 stories of dark stairs beacuse there is no lighting at night for some reason, its not good for elderly guests. Overall bad host and bad experience. The hotel is also in between 2 strip clubs so expect that type of stay.

Beds were really comfortable, although mattress was dirty on 2 of the 3 beds. All of the bed sheets and towels were clean though. Corridor on approach to the rooms weren’t lit well at all to the point it was dangerous. Hallways smelt strongly of cigarette smoke. The room had some really good facilities, such as a decent fridge, a twin induction hob and pans/utensils, large TV, Aircon (although wasn’t working in our room). Even had a safe and microwave in the room. We just wanted a cheap room in a good location, and it was perfect for us to explore Zagreb. You get what you pay for, but the beds were really comfortable and it’s in a great location. No noise at all during the nights, we all slept really well! Great if you want a really cheap weekend stop on the city

Property is centrally located within walking distance to most attractions. There are good dining options in the area and also convenience stores.

Definitely a situation of getting what you pay for. This is a single room that felt like it was part of a hostel (there is one the floor below) and there is no front desk. The neighborhood has lots of graffiti, and there are adult clubs on both sides of the street (did not notice any noise or issues thankfully though). The stairs have minimal lighting but the self check in worked well (although codes on both sets of doors are the same and someone began to enter my room while I was in the shower (unsure if this was housekeeping or not). Once inside the room I was greeted by many mosquitos as the windows are all open at arrival despite the lack of screens. After closing things up, you begin to notice a sewage smell from the bathroom; if the bathroom door was kept shut it was tolerable. The obvious surfaces in the room are clean but there was a massive amount of dust/dirt under the bed. The bedding is not made for the size bed present, so it is laid on it in a way I've not seen before for a hotel. Overall the room felt small but the bed was of decent quality, the shower was clean and had hot water, the electric kettle worked well, and the room looks much newer than the century(s) old that it is; the neighborhood also felt ok despite appearances. If you're on a budget I'd consider it, otherwise I would probably pick another option.

Great location. Easy to walk to most places downtown. The building is located on a busy street, but, surprisingly, it wasn't too noisy. There isn't an elevator, so be ready to bring up suitcases two floors. The WiFi worked well for us. Overall, it was clean, and had everything we needed for a couple of nights. My only suggestion is to check the refrigerator, as it wasn't working properly. Thanks!

Shares a building with another hostel and some other businesses. The hostel itself is great but the shared spaces are a little wanting. Room itself was great and so was location.

This hotel is really centrally located. But be warned, you need to take your luggage up stairs to the hotel on the second storey, there are no lifts, so this hotel wouldn’t suit people with mobility issues. The room was basic and clean with comfortable beds. We didn’t see any staff and our only contact with the staff went unanswered which didn’t matter because it was in response to something they needed, not anything we needed. It’s not a 4 star hotel as advertised but more like 3 stars. The only negative is they need better lighting in the building stair case but that might be outside their control.

Clean room, good beds. Excellent location. Only minus is that there is no light above the stairs on second floor so we had to use our cellphone to not fall and break something. This is a safety issue and needs to be fixed. Also missed any information from rental company regarding room, where to put garbage etc. Missing some kitchenware (f.ex. only 2 small spoons avaliable)

We felt very uncomfortable. The room was not cleaned. The bed linen was not changed, there was hair from other guests everywhere. The towels also full of hair from other guests. Unfortunately, I can not recommend this apartments.

La limpieza era mejorable, una de las sábanas estaba sucia y las toallas estaban muy usadas y olían a humedad . Las paredes estaban marcadas de mosquitos muertos. La ubicación es perfecta.

Negatives are shower needs scrubbing/bleaching. Sheet was torn, bedspread stained,no instructions for TV use, so not working. Plus side, close to supermarket, bakeries, restaurants and the puck up area for tours.

Scuff marks on the walls, stains on the towels and sheets, bed sheets that don't fit the beds properly (so they come off once in a while), bathroom door was bashed open so lock doesn't work, window does not close properly (but on 3rd floor so not a safety concern). The apartment was alright, the location is great.

We hadden een kakkerlak in de douche. Verder was de grond vuil, in de hoeken was niet gepoetst. Er zaten ook veel haren in het bed. Het hotel had wel een fijne locatie, midden in het centrum.

Of the 20 different places we have stayed in while travelling Europe this was the least favourite. The stairs were awkward. It was close walking distance to the train station of lovely cafes of Zagreb.

My stay here was terrible. Every towel had rust stains on them, as well as my blanket. Hand soap dispenser was empty. Hot water ran out very quickly. Sheets were ripped. I got mosquito bites all throughout the night. The entrance hallway smelled of smoke and pee. And on my last day: someone literally came into my room at 8am while I was sleeping. WITHOUT knocking! I couldn’t believe it. For $100/night I would never stay here again. Good parts of the place: it was quiet. Location was convenient. Host replied to messages promptly.

The pictures looked nice and the old reviews were good but don’t be fooled. This place is now filthy. The walls were so dirty I didn’t want to sleep next to them. It looked like stains from body fluids on the wall near the pillow. The lamp had 4 dead 2-3 cm cockroaches inside it. The next morning there were three more dead ones outside the entrance. The towels were so dirty I questioned if they had been washed at all or just folded. The bed was made with the bedding inside out. The floor had stains that a mop would have gotten rid of. The fridge was not working so our breakfast got ruined. Familys should also be aware that there are strip clubs next door and on the other side of the street.

The room was nothing like the pictures showed it. It as tiny!! With a view to a wall.

Wifi was unusable. Check in was a piece of paper hung in front of door. The electronic code required to enter was not sent early enough to retrieve before losing data access. The room was clean and decent, except for a kicked in bathroom that had not been repaired.

De kamer die wij hadden bevond zich midden in het pand met een raam dat uitkeek op airco’s en een blinde muur. De kamer was klein en lichtelijk uitgeleefd. Voordeel was dat de kamer op loopafstand van de stad was.

Wi-Fi não funciona, prédio com aparência horrível, subida de dois andares por escada longa ( esteja preparado para subir), porém quarto até que é bom, banheiro era novo, porém ralo a água demorava a descer, lençol tinha cabelo, não funcionava aquecedor para roupa, tv não entrava os canais, geladeira não funcionava. Se for para dormir uma noite de passagem pela cidade até vale. Código para entrar era o mesmo do quarto, ou seja deveria ser o mesmo para todos. Localização era boa, dá para andar pela localidade

A lot of noise from the street

The room was very comfortable and clean, and in a good location. However, it is not a conventional hotel. You are sent a code and don’t see anyone to check in. I only saw my entire stay of three nights the housekeeper when I checked out. Which brings me to my major complaint - I left the door hanger out requesting housekeeping and it was ignored. The shower head also fell off on my last morning there, and I could not get it back on.

The worst experience. When arriving to the property, the air conditioning was not working. After reaching out multiple times to the owner, they did not respond. When I reached out to Travelocity, they could not come into contact with the owner either. Needless to say, 90 degrees in Zagreb with no air conditioner, we left. Now Travelocity does not want to refund me any money and wants to give me a 25 dollar gift card. How insane. Do not stay here.

This building is in the city centre of Zagreb, it’s very ideal. It is within a few minutes of the national theatre, many amazing dining options and cafes, Ban Jelačić Square etc. There is an AC in the room and it works really well so we were able to always be at a comfortable temperature. It was very clean, comfortable, and check in + out was very simple and easy. I would recommend this place and I will stay again.

all the towels were dirty and someone entered our room early in the morning, once the person realized they quickly ran out. I’m guessing he was in a different room but they all have the same key code, which feels unsafe. 1 hour before our checkout, the cleaning lady knocked on our door twice asking us to hurry up so she could start cleaning. I’m not sure what she cleans because it was not too clean to begin with, especially the towels! I will not be returning here :/.

The location of this hotel was pretty good - 8 minutes to the centre of Old Town and 8 minutes to the main train station. Parking is a bit of an issue, as is the case in most capital city hotels in Europe. The room itself was clean and modern with good amenities such a reasonable size bathroom and a little kitchenette. Check in was easy - just a PIN that lets you in the door. Overall, a reasonably priced place in a pretty good location.

Cerca del tranvía y varios pub y restaurant. Recomendado para gente joven. Nosotros somos viejos ysubir 3 maletas fue complicado. Todo lo demas muy bien.

buena ubicación se puede recorrer a pie sitios turístico, en la zona hay supermercados. edificio un poco antiguo, en la entrada falta iluminación, la habitación en general cómoda, amplia y limpia. La atención es a través del wsp ya que no se tiene recepción

Good location, easily accessible to shopping, dining and all attractions and a good 20 mins walk to bus station. Lovely apartment, clean, comfortable and good bathroom facilities. Jelena was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.
