Staff are friendly but for some reason the room is super cold. The shower is a joke. It’s such a small place. I am 172cm 60kg. When I stand inside my arms keep touching the control of temperature which makes it super hot by accident. The swimming pool is shared with condos residents and I saw a guy scrubbing his feet in the spa….

Nice hotel! Rooms are modern, staff was friendly. The M club is a nice perk but definitely wouldn't pay extra for it. My only critique is that the shower was so narrow that one could hardly move without hitting the hardware; very poor design.

My husband and I had a wonderful 7 day stay at the Marriott. Check in was easy, the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and big, and the housekeepers cleaned the rooms every day and they were never disruptive. Good restaurants around the hotel and the go train station to Toronto is close by. Amenities (gym hot tub and pool) were great although the pool was closed for two days due to maintenance but hot tub remained open. We look forward to coming back!

Excellent location for our visit. Odd entrance and the spas jet did not work, no towels. We love the staff interactions and they are polite and attentive. The room was clean and well kept. Comfortable bed and shower was good. We stayed 8 nights and ran out of shower gel bottle on the last day. I would love to see the towels cleaner and not as well used. They are old towels.

The staff are attentive and friendly, and the ambiance is warm and inviting. My room was excellent, clean, comfortable, and well-kept. Room could have been much cleaner. Discovered a dirty, used bottle of lotion in the bathroom where a new one should have been. Pillows smelled dirty and there were large stains on the chair. Overall, it was disappointing to see in a Marriott. Having said that, the front desk staff member was lovely and made the check in process easy and pleasant.

Everything is good except the noise in the hotel. Not sure if it's just my room, but every time when the door of the nearby rooms closed there's a loud noise. I often planned to wake up at 10am, but was woke up by the noise of neighbors closing the door in the morning. It's like I got woke up every 20 minutes in the morning. Other than that everything is good.

The service was excellent, and the property and staff are amazing, especially in the M lounge! The only issue is that there was construction right outside our window. Thus the view and the noise was not pleasant. The restaurants and coffee and cineplex are a plus.

The room itself is great! But I don’t like the staff’s attitude. When checking in, one staff told us that the Wifi is free, we could just overlook the fees on the connecting page. That’s fine. BUT, something fun happened when I checked out. Another staff told me that the wifi fee could only be waived if we are the hotel member, so we were forced to join the membership. I mean it’OK to join the membership, I don’t care. The things I felt uncomfortable with is the staff’s attitude and the inconsistency of the words which make me feel cheated!

The staff were amazing, welcoming and very attentive, specially Reginia, who handled my check-in process, exaplained me everything I needed to know and offered me a complimentary breakfast and access to the M Lounge due to my birthday.

We stayed here for a swim meet and the staff was incredible. After connecting with us days before the stay to make sure we were ok with switching our accommodations, they threw in M Lounge access for the entire stay. They were accommodating of dietary restrictions and we even had a wonderful conversation with Jenn, the general manager. Honestly can’t rave enough! The hotel itself is beautiful and cozy. We won’t hesitate to book again for the next meet!

Beautiful hotel, spacious clean and modern rooms. Pool and hot tub were well kept and very clean, check in was pleasant. Across the street from the cinema and great restaurants. Only negative was the surprise 20$ a night parking which seems unnecessary in this location.

Hotel is in the middle of what appears to be a planned community that is not yet built, so basically a construction sight. No food or beverage service was available in the afternoons of Christmas weekend. There was a sandwich shop across from the hotel and four lanes of traffic where we were told to go by hotel staff When food and beverage was available staff and service was good Beds very comfortable

Property was new, clean and spacious. Shower had good pressure and bed and pillows were comfortable. No complaints about the hotel. Only downside was the surrounding area is a bit bare. Not too much selection unless you drive. Looks to be a developing area so perhaps more options and entertainment in the future!

Gorgeous hotel in an excellent location in Markham. Impeccable cleanliness in room and common areas. Delicious room service food. We were notified of our room being available slightly earlier than posted check-in time which was so convenient. Most of all, the customer service was outstanding- we were accommodated for a room change request upon arrival. Next door to a mall. Close to GO train. Highly recommend.

The Toronto Marriott Markham is in a very nice location. The hotel look is modern and very pretty. The hotel restaurant was very nice and had excellent food choices we particularly enjoyed the salmon tartare and the flatbreads. The room was very nice and comfortable, the hotel staff also very friendly
