When we arrived we were immediately greeted by Tyra who checked us in quickly. The room was very clean and smelled fresh, the bathroom was spotless, and the bed was super comfortable. There was a sitting area with a comfortable couch and the TV was hi-def. We stayed on a Saturday and Sunday and it was very quiet. Plus, we were able to take their free shuttle to our dinner reservation at a downtown restaurant. The self-serve breakfast bar was more than adequate and the coffee was fresh and hot on both mornings. All the employees we interacted with were very friendly, helpful and very professional. I will definitely stay at this hotel the next time I visit Ann Arbor.

This hotel has very easy access to I-94 which is convenient. The room and bathroom was spacious and well-thought-out. The staff was friendly and helpful but were not sure of EV charging stations in the area. The restaurant has a very limited menu and the day we were there, one person was the bartender, wait staff and cook--'nuff said. It's close to the U Mich south campus so that's a plus.

We had initially booked with the Hampton Inn down the road, only to cancel our reservation as both rooms we were given smelled musty like mold/mildew. The hallways had ceiling tiles that were missing or bulging in spots, the carpet was stained, and overall, the hotel looked dirty and run down. We took a chance and at the last minute booked the Hyatt Place instead, for the SAME price. WOW - WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Immediately upon walking in, the lobby was clean, bright, and airy. The front desk employee was friendly and accomodating, able to get us a room right away. We were put on the sixth floor, and found the room to be spacious, incredibly clean, and very comfortable. The king mattress was cushy and we had no issues sleeping with the room darkening curtain. We checked out the gym and the hotel breakfast too - both were quite good. Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay, and will absolutely be booking again the next time we visit! Thank you Hyatt for providing your guests with a wonderful experience!

It’s a great place to stay. The only issue we have is it is pet friendly so people who have allergies to dogs have to deal with the fur everywhere. There is not enough people to keep it deep cleaned to avoid allergic reactions. The other day a dog peed in the elevator. It was disgusting to deal with. The staff here is very nice.

Casual & conveniently located hotel near U of Michigan at Ann Arbor. We got a handicapped room that was very spacious. Friendly staff, breakfast buffet included, convenience store in the lobby which was great because we checked in after all area restaurants had closed. The only thing I would mention is that our bathroom had hair from previous guests in the shower & behind the bathroom door, so I would recommend detailed cleaning for the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Place. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was ample and we had easy access to Ann Arbor. Only minor thing we found annoying was a slow elevator. Overall, we would book again, especially if we get such a great price again.

Great accomodations. The room was clean, the property was nice, and the staff was friendly. I had the free breakfast one morning. Tasted good, plenty of food, and a large seating area. Also used the gym at night. The equiment was all in working order and clean. I did not go, but the mall was across the street and the Hyatt is right off the freeway, so easy to get to. The only insufficient thing to comment on was the water pressure which was terrible. It was little more than a dribble. Otherwise, a great place to stay.

The hotel room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was disappointing as there was no way to keep the running to have constant ventilation. So we either were too cold by keeping the temperature low for constant air flow, or too warn by raising the temperature when we got too cold. Rather disappointing for an otherwise quality hotel

Very new clear hotel. BUT, they did not adjust the door closers on the doors. They slam shut violently causing a lot of noise during the night as people go back to their rooms. It is easy to fix, all you have to do is use a screwdriver on the top of the door closer to adjust the speed of final closing. The first screw adjusts the initial speed, the second screw adjust the speed of the final close. PLEASE ADJUST THEM CORRECTLY so that the doors don't slam voilently.

High marks on the hospitality chart for this property and the people working in it. Newer, clean hotel with spacious rooms - showers with water pressure, excellent linen, storage closet and drawers, plus a sofa bed and a black out curtain. Front desk staff Zeb and Tyra made me feel like a part of the family and getting from the Ann Arbor transit center to the property via shuttle was a life saver -they have a 3 mile radius and that will get you downtown from the property. Breakfast is on the house and the standard fare - scrambled eggs, bacon or links, potatoes or pancakes ... plus yogurt, juice, fruit, bagels/bread, and cereal. The elevator tone is earily anoying and they do mop the lobby area and clean the elevator floors at some odd times. I didn't care for the timing of this in the morning during breakfast as the smell, while slight, was not the accompaniment I want with eating. I'd absolutely stay here again but note that there's not a lot within walking distance in winter (it's cold). Warmer weather, longer walk, fine.

Hotel and staff were excellent. Except check in. Told my card was declined and asked to call my credit card company. While employee entering card info into machine it came back approved only his computer did not accept it. When I pointed that out he said that approval did not matter if his computer would not accept it and repeatedly told me I had to call the credit card company. Phoned card company and everything alright on their end and said there was a pending charge entered from the hotel. Manager had to come out and “do some special stuff to get it to work”. Since I’m from out of country call cost me $13 on my cell. Very frustrating and either system is at fault or training is an issue. Problem solving is very poor. Bad start to a stay

Contacted hotel day before ur reservation and told them our room need to be cleaned with cleaners that did not have fragrances because of allergies. When we arrived that instruction had not been relayed to the housekeeping staff, so we had to wait over an hour for the room to be ready. Our message had been noted on our reservation.

We loved the lobby and the decorations. Overall, the property is in great condition. The only reason for four star instead of five star is the breakfast. It was just ok - they only had a few options and quality of food was not great. Overall, a great hotel near the university.

Oddly the TV’s have limited channels but will run off Some phone apps. Just not mine. Very frustrating to have a big TV and have to watch Netflix on my phone. Apple TV too. Location is good but tricky to get into from town. Otherwise I’d stay there again

Overall very good experience staying there. Honestly the only thing I think that could be improved are the scrambled eggs at breakfast. Far too crumbly. I’m assuming they are powdered eggs, but the consistency is not great.
