Very disappointing - checked out early. Difficult to find parking to check-in. Told no parking available for stay and advised to park in shopping centre car park. Unsafe and not worthy of 4 star rating. Noisey heating/cooling system. Would not recommend.

The property is ok. I dont like having to pay for parking in country towns or cities or being given wrong information. Woman at the desk told us we could park for free overnight at next door high rise car park on top 2 levels, but there is a sign at the lift of the car park clearly stating u will be charged if u dont remove your car by 10pm.

Had a good time, breakfast was good, room nice, Aircon was a pain, staff were great. If you want parking make sure you book in advance as we were not told and has to park off premise, never had that happen before.

The hotel room was ok, but sub par for nearly $300. We specifically booked for the EV charging, when we arrived we could see the stations were not being used but the hotel had allowed non EV/non charging cars to park there. This meant a knock on impact to our trip. Understand if they were taken by other EV’s but they weren’t. Assume it was because the hotel wanted the income from parking instead? Would not stay there again. Staff at check were nice but disappointing the approach to EV when the network is already quite new and scarce

No safe place to leave your car overnight. Travelling for business with expensive equipment in the car to be left in the street does not make sense. Dragging your belongings into a hotel from a car park up the road is ridiculous.

Pleasant hotel, excellent condition. Only downside is parking. There is a free park next door but it isn't connected to the hotel, so you have to take luggage down a flight of stairs and then into the hotel.

It started at check-in when advertised amenities weren't available, the room had an aweful smell. I got over the uncleanliness until we pulled the bedding back and the linen was soiled and then to hit it home the complimentary toilet amenities were empty certainly not value for money

We really liked that Cameron on reception was so helpful on our check-in. The room was very nice and we slept well. Our only suggestions would be a last check of the bathroom clean as we had something on the floor when we arrived that was not ours and the shower wash was totally empty. This wouldn't put us off returning to this nice hotel.

During the online booking there was no prompt or mention of the fact that parking needed to be booked as an extra. Upon arrival the only staff member on spoke so quietly I had to continue to as her again what she was saying and if it weren’t for me being able to see the amount for the room on the screen I’d have sworn she quoted an extra $100. The room had empty soaps and cleansers and you could tell it hadn’t been cleaned fully. Upon checking out there was only one staff member on and multiple people clogging the way waiting, two staff members would have helped. Looking out the windows there were at least 5 shopping trolleys that had clearly been thrown from the adjacent carpark by the local crack heads no doubt, doesn’t exactly make for an exciting view or fill you with confidence that where you’ve ended up having to park your vehicle will be safe. If there are items in the fridge they need to be signposted if they need to be paid extra for or whether they’re complimentary. Lastly thankfully the television in the room made only a good but weird ornament as it wouldn’t work in any way other than coming on to a black screen. Glad it was just an overnight stay so I know where not to book again.

We have stayed here before and was happy however this time there were hairs in the towels as we unrolled them(that were not ours). This has put me off. Towels were also thin and scratchy and no bottled water or glasses in room. For the amount you pay it’s these little things that stand out.

It’s a lovely modern looking building but unfortunately not even close to enjoyable to stay in. The room is small and you can’t open any windows so feels claustrophobic, despite the hotel being quiet we were given a room that looks onto a shopping centre carpark with rubbish and discarded trolleys for a view then at 7am the following morning people started filling the carpark so it was noisy and distracting. The tvs are being ‘upgraded’ so it’s free to air only which is fine but that kept dropping out. The fridge wasn’t cold and there was nothing in the room to choose from if you wanted to. The shower head was clearly broken and only soaked water out from one unblocked hole. Parking is terrible you have to choose from street parking which is metered or you have to pay additional $ per day to park in an underground but limited carpark not enough spaces to meet the needs of guests. We chose a mantra because we’ve always enjoyed other stays at other mantra facilities but won’t be back to this one unfortunately.

executive room has great view of the hilly side of Albury. room was relatively small with fewer kitchen utensils and have to ask for dinner plates. Room is not self-contained with dinner plates.

Receptionist made me feel bad and that they were doing me a favour and l had booked on the wrong website. I had called up when making the booking as I would be travelling with my dog. On Hotels.com website it wasn’t coming up with a dog friendly room. So I called and the receptionist confirmed it was available and I would have to pay a slight room upgrade on arrival which I was ok with. 3 days later when I arrived to check in. The receptionist was very rude and kept saying I was lucky a room was available. I even showed her the chat message and I showed her my call log as to when I had called. If I knew of another pet friendly hotel I would have gone to it. But after driving 6 hours I just wanted a room. And hey charged me an extra $100 dollars on top of the suite I had paid for. Then at dinner time I asked if I could eat at the side next to the restaurant as I had the dogs, I was quickly told no and that I would have to have room service, so I went to a restaurant close by that was more welcoming. Totally bad experience and made feel uncomfortable

The hotel is in a good position in town & rooms are comfortable. I have stayed here many times before & have had good customer service in the past. When I checked in I was refused parking as they said they were booked out. The guy at reception was not helpful & couldn't give a damn even though I had phoned through earlier & was promised parking. I have a valuable classic car & was attending a major car show in town & had to park in a public car park next door which made me nervous about damage to my vehicle. I was allocated parking for my other 3 nights stay however the incompetance of the staff left me unsure about booking here again along with the cost of a room increasing dramatically in the past 12 months.

1 night stopover in the centre of Albury, close to shopping precinct including restaurants and cafes. Safe off street parking available, room clean, modern and comfortable. First time we have stayed at Mantra Albury, it won't be our last. Staff friendly and helpful.

Service was great I had accidentally booked the wrong date the young female staff member booked my room without hesitation and professionally. Car park was underneath secure with easy access to hotel. It can be a little difficult to park on the street prior to check in as access to car park is via your hotel access card. Check out was seamless and friendly. Definitely returning.

Upon checking in, the male reception member was not helpful, provided limited options equivalent to saying no as an answer, and was rude, not courteous. After driving from Melbourne and reaching late after 9pm, no dining options were provided and the man threw his arms in the air to direct us to outside eateries. No beer bottle opener was available so I was asked to bring the bottles to the bar everytime to open. Overall, not so great experience.

In room TV was poorly tuned. Half the channels didn’t work or were duplicated. One very small bin in the bathroom. One very small recycling only bin. Thumping music till midnight from a pub a block away. Cars revving and burnouts at 12.30am. 7th floor and the noise woke us both. Room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable.

Unfortunately, we stayed on a Friday night and there was a night club nearby that played thumping music till the early hours of the morning. Even on the 8th floor it was so noisy. It wasn’t the good night's sleep I was desperately hoping for after such a long drive. It really was a shame as otherwise it was a great hotel.

We stayed on 25/12. We call the reception at least 6 times. When you an auto voice ask you to select your options. Once you choose you will wait forever and no one will answer. When we went down to the foyer and report this issue the receptionist was indifferent (there were 2 receptionists and not busy). Hotel restaurant was not open that night which is fine. However 3 options were available for room service (fish and chips, chicken buckets and chips and margerita pizza). We ordered all 3. Meals came burnt and deep fried in old oil. Wine was also not available as receptionist advised that she did not have access. Pretty weird for a hospitality business!!! AC unit in room was noisy like a helicopter and bedsheet extreme rough on the skin.

Had a couple of days here. Found the place to be clean and tidy, and the staff friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was good with a good range of food. The dinner was your average pub menu but was well presented. If eating in is not your thing then there was a good range of restaurants and bars nearby.

Check in was simple and prompt. The room is one of the best I've stayed in across regional NSW. Could not believe the response to when I asked for a simple steak and vegetables for dinner (from the Menu). The waitress advised me that the kitchen had 'run out' of vegetables!!! There was only 9 people in total across the restaurant when I was there. How could this happen???
