The hotel seems newly built the décor and facilities seem new so everything has a nice new look! Has a gym, pool table, 24/7 coffee and water in reception. Breakfast bar in the morning bagels etc. Nice soft beds good modern mattresses not those old style with metal springs stabbing you! Room have decent showers, all soaps and shampoos provided were nice. A/C is good fully controllable by the guest. Large TV maybe 50". Large carpark, easy to find, the area is nice and quiet but with lots of shops and restaurants in close distance. Would stay here again

It's great that they have electronic vehicle Chargers here, was able to charge my car overnight for a very affordable price. I also really enjoyed the breakfast that they had in the morning, including the fresh pancake machine and the egg white frittatas! The person working the front desk when I checked in was super nice and accommodating, despite it being an ungodly late hour. Big thanks to them!

The lobby was very fun and welcoming - my kid's favorite part of our entire vacation was the bubble hockey game. The room and bathroom where both very clean - and I am especially picky about bathrooms. The TV was a little difficult to navigate but it wasn't anything that should ruin anyone's trip. I would stay here again!

Great stay! A few things on the property were in need of some repairs like handle in the bathroom or safety door latch but the staff was great, room clean and okay breakfast. The pool table, air hockey and lobby area were great!

It all started upon arrival. Found hairs in the shower and then that led me to doing a better check of the bed. And sure enough that also had hairs from previous guest. Called front desk and was given another room. SAME EXACT issue! And another, same. Finally I got tired of being bounced around so decided I would stay if they made sure I got clean sheets and replaced them myself. Sheets and even the mattress pad underneath had to be replaced because they both had pubic hairs left from previous guests! In the morning, the staff member on staff was super rude and refused to give me her name. Finally spoke to the assistant manager Jerica Shiu. She also didn’t offer any apology for the inconvenience and was rather more concerned with getting me out of there. And made excuses for her staff member rudeness and the condition of the hotel. Granted this is not an expensive stay, but at the very least I would expect basic maintenance to be upheld. I have documented all this in case they try to dispute.

Everything was just okay, when we arrived I waited probably 10mins for someone to come to the front desk. When the front desk agent got there they had their AirPods in their ears, seemed annoyed that they even had to check me in. Our room was fine, but everything seemed just a little dirty, our toilet had what looked like blood on the side and on the wall beside the garbage and toilet.

This is the 3rd or 4th time we stayed here and it’s always consistently great!! Clean, modern, staff is SO friendly. The breakfast is excellent and the dining area is spotless even when it’s packed with guests! They have a fun game and lobby area with a pool table and foosball and next time I will check out the gym! The rooms are so clean and I love that there are wood floors in the rooms because carpet gets icky really fast in hotels!

It was a great experience! Everything was clean, lobby was well designed and inviting, the room decor had a fresh look. Bathroom and shower was modern and clean. Overall, I think the Tru is an awesome concept being fun, modern, relaxing with a colorful atmosphere. Very impressed for first time with Tru, will be back.

Never again! Computer had no keyboard and the touch screen was too hard to use. Shower was IMPOSSIBLE to figure out and couldn't get hot water for 10 minutes. Front desk dude couldn't care less. TV remote was cryptic and impossibly difficult to use. No canopy over entrance - got soaked by rain unloading car. They should focus on making the amenities easy to use instead of making everything stylish but difficult to use.

every detail of this property exudes economy and budget. A tiny room lacking in any warmth or character. A bed, TV and bathroom is what you get. Granted, that is sometimes all that is needed, but the economic furnishings were not reflected by the price. It was clean, but very basic. If I had paid full price for this room, I would have been a little disappointed.

This was a very clean Hilton hotel, but it was a sparse room. There wasn’t an actual closet, but there was a decorative bar upon which to hang some of your clothes. There was one chair in the room, but it was very practical. The free breakfast was great in the morning. Basically, I came to the conclusion that Tru in Hilton terms means sparse, or Tru to basics.

First time at a Tru hotel was very impressive. I traveled extensively for business few years ago so I stayed in all 4-5 stars hotels. This one was on the top of all of my stays. Heidi the manager was over the top with friendliness and help with anything. Will defiantly be searching out Tru hotels in the future

I think going over security and guest safety protocols would be useful for your staff. As my ex who ive had police involvement with, was able to confirm with the front desk staff that a room was booked in my name, and made the front desk staff call up to my room to ask me to come down to speak with him. This could have gotten me killed. I should have called the police at that point. He stayed and waited outside the hotel all night and was there as i left and followed me driving thereafter. No guest services member should ever verify any identity of any guest under any circumstances. Especially a lone female checking in.

When I called the hotel to assure that it was very close to the university of Wisconsin Madison campus they said it was very very close but it turns out it’s actually not downtown at all not near the campus. It’s a 1520 minute drive to the campus.

Perfect stay for 24 hrs. We were greeted with bottles of ice cold water- which was super after an early 6 am flight from NY and then 2 hrs in the car. Great hot breakfast, conveniently located around lots of restaurants, a mall, and a short drive to UW, which is why we were here.

My brother and I decided to break up our 12 hr drive from MN to MI by staying overnight in Madison. We had no idea what hotel to book but I always remember that any Hilton property has always had great beds and are very clean. The Tru by Hilton in Madison was great! Of course the beds were very comfortable which was great after being on the road all day. The cleanliness of the room and especially bathroom was superb! The breakfast was wonderful also, with pancakes, already made so you don't have to stand and wait and the nice array of egg fritatas, sausage, oatmeal, cereal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt and fruit selection. We had many choices for hotels in the Madison area in the $75 range, but Tru by far, exceeded our expectations! Thank you and we will be back!
