didn't like. The area was fantastic literally 5 min walk from the water front, restaurants within walking distance. The facilities within the hotel were fantastic, it was my husband's birthday and the hotel sent up a complimentary cake up to the room while we were out. The gym and the spa were exceptional, the only thing I wish is that they had a swimming pool or sauna. The sauna was in the spa ans there was a hot tub area on the roof top lounge. Overall a fantastic stay, the staff at the front desk, conceirge and house keeping were all fantastic and went above and beyond, special shout out to Andres at the front desk.

Good location for events at BC Place. Good Yale Town location, walkable and great parks nearby. Not a family hotel. It's a casino resort with many people there to party and get rowdy. No pool is a big negative. Rooftop jacuzzi is nice but was crowded most of the time, with maximum occupancy of only 8 people. Gym is great. Overall, would not recommend for families but would recommend for people looking to party or attend an event at BC Place.

I stayed with a friend from a few nights here. The staff, amenities, general facilities, and restaurant we're all excellent. The only thing we would want improved, is the upholstery bench seating in the restaurant Honey Salt, was extremely dirty. To the extent that I was concerned my pants were going to be dirty after sitting on them. I let the front desk manager know, but she seemed somewhat unconcerned. Everything else, including the housekeeping amenities, staff were all excellent.

Everything was great! The only thing I was disappointed in was looking out the window. We paid for a room with a water view. The view was a sliver of water, a building and a large parking lot. I wouldn't have paid the extra $$ if I knew the "view" was that.

We visited for two nights to meet up with old friends and see a soccer match. The first night was great, as the hotel and its staff were performing beautifully. The second was a nightmare when a group of loud partiers entered the adjoining room at 3 am and would not quiet down despite several calls to security. We could not sleep as their music and shouting was just too loud. With over 24 hours of travel ahead of us to Europe, we left the hotel exhausted. The front desk staff sheepishly apologized for the disturbance but said the group next door was in a VIP unnumbered room and not cooperative with security’s requests to be quieter. They offered enough Marriott point to book the hotel for one night in the future, but after my long day of travel that seemed inadequate. It took me a couple days to feel like myself again.

Unstable and expensive WiFi. The “Bonvoy” app is garbage. No toothbrush, toothpaste, comb etc in bathroom. No pillow menu. Window view is obscured by some weird pattern on the glass. Paper thin walls. Phone in room does not work. Nothing in the fridge/minibar. On the plus side, the location is nice, staff is friendly (ie Canadian), and rooms are clean. But this is not a 5-star hotel for anyone whose actually travelled a lot.

I have to say that Mr. Parra and his concierge staff were outstanding. Overall this is an excellent hotel. The only glitch--and it was a big one--is that I could not access the Internet on my phone from my room. I could do so in the lobby, but not in the room, so that was inconvenient as I needed it for airline and transportation. I would definitely recommend this hotel, however.

We made a reservation for a one-bedroom suite along with breakfast through Expedia at a rate of $150 each morning. However, upon arrival at the lobby for breakfast, we were informed that appointments were necessary to access the meal service. This requirement was unexpected, and then we booked an appointment and waited for 20 minutes, despite tables being unoccupied. After breakfast, we received a bill with $177.00. To our surprise, the front desk instructed us that we could only order one egg and one drink through room service, a detail that was not communicated to us in the room. After some back and forth, they eventually provided us with a printed list indicating our breakfast cost as only $24.00, although they had initially pre-charged us $150 in addition for breakfast. Furthermore, the hotel underwent renovations that were carried out after 10:30 pm, an inconvenience that defies imagination. Our attempts to contact the front desk yielded no response. Moreover, while a self parking fee of $15.00 per day was indicated, our bill presented a charge of $50.00 per day. Their pricing structure does not align with reality, resulting in additional, unanticipated charges. Moreover, the swimming pool was consistently inaccessible due to it being locked. It is imperative not to place faith in their website, and I strongly recommend against making reservations with this establishment.

The property is beautiful and immaculately kept. We were upgraded to a suite for our stay and it was gorgeous and comfortable! We had dinner at The Victor and I would go back a thousand times, the sushi was fantastic, the drinks delicious, and the staff were all very happy and helpful! We had breakfast one day at Honey Salt and the experience was the same! We would be happy to come back on future adventures!

Website promises‘make it your own’ breakfast which for $25 I took to mean breakfast in the restaurant. Instead it is only for in room. With 2 guests and only 2 chairs it means some one has to eat on the floor. Unimpressive for a hi quality hotel. I cancelled the’in room’ poorly advertised nonsense
