Nous sommes partis en week-end entre couple pour découvrir Amsterdam, je pensais tomber dans un bon hôtel et franchement loin d’être déçu. Accueil rapide et chaleureux, hôtel coincé dans une petite zone proche de l’eau et à seulement 10 minutes en bus du centre ville (arrêt de bus à 100m de l’hôtel ), une chambre mignonne avec une belle vue, une belle salle de bain et un lit plus que confort ! Accès à la piscine simple, sauna non payant, bar complet avec beaucoup de boissons. Pas d’avis sur les petits dej on a pas testés. Pour le parking c’est simple 30€ par nuit, 60€ pour le week end ce qui est pas cher à Amsterdam (environ 8€/h au centre).

I am thrilled about this hotel and staff, absolure 10 out of 10. Really clean and comfortable, very cool and friendly staff, swimming pool, sauna, gym, above my expectations! Well done!

Friendly staff. Clean and Quiet rooms with a beautiful view. Only problem was that shops were approximately 20 minute walk or a bus ride away. The gym within the hotel was absolutely amazing and has most of the equipment that I would personally use.

Cool und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Personal sehr freundlich, man ist mit dem Bus in 10 Minuten im Zentrum für unter 4 Euro hin und zurück. Parken in der Garage ist leider verpflichtend und kostet 25 Euro pro Nacht… aber sonst alles gut.

Eine sehr gemischte Erfahrung. Das Hotel ist modern und hat ein gutes Frühstück. In der ersten Nacht hat man uns direkt über dem Gym positioniert. Wo 24/7 laut Musik läuft. Es war als würde man über einer Disco schlafen. Wir wurden in der zweiten Nacht auf die andere Seite gebracht. Da hatten wir Ruhe und auch endlich mal einen schönen Blick. Was mich sehr verstört hat: Im Essens-Lounge-Bereich lief einfach eine Maus umher. Ich sagte dies dem Personal. Das hat aber niemanden gestört. Da hinterfrage ich die Sauberkeit des Hotels doch sehr, wenn Mäuse im Essens-Bereich als normal angesehen werden. Die Sauna war auch eher ein Witz. Passen maximal 2 Leute rein und nach 20 Minuten habe ich immer noch mi hat geschwitzt.

We stayed at the Moxy Hotel Amsterdam from July 23rd to 30th and overall had a fantastic experience. I'd happily give it 5 stars, but I’ve marked it down slightly due to the lack of a fridge in the room — which is essential for someone like me who needs to keep snacks or certain items cool. We originally booked a standard room, which we’ve done at other hotels without issue even though my partner uses a wheelchair. On arrival, the staff were really accommodating and moved us to an accessible room the next day, which was lovely and much more suitable. The hotel itself is fun and vibrant — there’s a spa, gym, pool table, arcade games in the lobby, and even free popcorn! It has a great vibe and is ideal for both couples and families. Staff were generally brilliant and very helpful throughout our stay. However, on one occasion when our room card stopped working, all of the front desk staff were being told off (quite publicly) by a manager for not engaging with guests — ironic, since the telling-off was causing them to ignore us. Thankfully, one staff member broke away to help us anyway, though it earned her a dirty look from the manager. That was the only disappointing moment in an otherwise excellent stay. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. We’re already planning to return next year and bring more family with us — they’d love it.

Everything was perfect. My towel was dirty - I guess a rare mistake, toilet button was broken. I especially chose a harbour view but the room was so cold and not getting heated up due to all walls were windows. Restaurant food wasnt freshly made but just warmed up. I recommend to go to a real restaurant around the place. but overall my stay was okay because it was right next to the office.

When I enter my room saw loads of hand marks on the giant windows. Extremely hard to ignore it. The problem is next day cleaner didint even checked and cleaned which I found unacceptable. No wardrobes inside the room or any mini bar. Anything served for breakfast were not fresh even cheese was hard. Location is somewhere in between no where, so expensive to take uber to the central however there r buses. But not convenient after midnight. No any drinking bottle water inside the room. I left the note on the door to get room cleaned service but it has been ignored for whole afternoon.It has a nice gym and it’s very modern building but loads of things were in poor quality. Staff members were ok if I visit Amsterdam again I won’t stay here. It’s tiring to take buses waiting for them and travel like this

Goede kamer, maar wat een rommel in ontbijtzaal. Het was niet heel druk, maar tafels en vloer worden (ondanks verzoeken) niet schoongemaakt. Drie man personeel achter receptie staat met telefoon te spelen. Ze verwijzen naar 'een andere afdeling' die hiervoor zou moeten zorgen.... zeer jammer. Ligging en kamers zijn echt heel goed.

Großes Zimmer, gutes Bett, tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Mikrowelle und Saucen vorhanden falls man Essen aufwärmen will. Ruhige, etwas abgelegene Lage. Bus ist ca 5 Minuten Fußweg entfernt, fährt alle 10 Minuten ca 15 Minuten zum Hauptbahnhof. Nächstes Vorortzentrum mit Essens- und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ca 20 Minuten zu Fuß (2 Haltestellen) entfernt. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Check in was efficient. A helpful receptionist told us that we would have to pay a €30 early check in fee but this would be waved if I was a Bonvoy member. I couldn't produce mine quick enough (finger trouble) so she signed me up as a new member. Problem solved!! I was later able to find my old Bonvoy number and the records were rectified. I really appreciate that kind of quick thinking and customer service. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the two extra pilloys we asked for, arrived quickly. Our only 'customer feedback' was that the used complimentary cups, coffee and tea were not replaced on day two. The hotel is located in a quiet part of town and a ±€15 UBER ride from the city centre.

Very comfortable modern hotel Lovely staff, comfy beds, nice rooms amazing view from 5th floor harbour view room. Excellent breakfast choice very tasty .. we were visiting for 2 50th birthday’s I had informed hotel and they wrote a message on the room window with balloons and chocolates.. Nice touch our birthday girls were pleased Thanks Hotel is far from city centre but we aware of this before booking number 48 bus stops close by. Very peaceful pleasant location we loved getting back after long tourist days in the city. We would stop here again if returning to Amsterdam. Adell the man on reception was friendly and helpful with tips regards bus etc on checking in .. Moxy thks for having us

Il n’y avait pas de gel douche dans la douche, la télé ne fonctionnait pas. Des petites bouteilles d’eau dans la chambre auraient été les bienvenues.

Friendly and helpful check-in. We were upgraded to rooms both with outstanding views of the harbour one with double-spect windows. The rooms were clean and well-equipped but the climate control was difficult to operate and the room was quite cold overnight. Reasonable choice at breakfast but the music volume was intrusive.

I really liked the view, it was awesome to look down on the harbor. On the other hand… the room looked worn off, the beds were hard, the staff couldn’t fix our tv for the entirety of our stay, the bar is expensive as hell and it’s hard to look through the parking process and it’s hella expensive too.

The TV had some issues and blacked out or didn't have signal. The Chromecast didn't work, after reconnected it took so much wifi that it wasn't possible to stream Netflix anymore. Very sad but, hey we were mostly outside. Great hotel, nice training and swimming area. Harbour surroundings are special as well. Love Amsterdam

The hotel is very clean, modern and with great facilities. The location was perfect for us, it's a 10 minute bus journey to the centre of Amsterdam and busses are very frequent from the end of the road where the hotel is. There are not many shops / cafe's around but the hotel offers some essentials. The only issue we had was when the reception/bar area was busy the staff seemed be caught like Rabbits in headlights! There was a lack of management direction and you could see lots of guests looking confused and likewise the staff. It didn't feel like a lack of staff but their 'presence' of assessing or predicting the needs of the guest, once you managed to get their attention they were more than happy to help, it was just an awkward case of trying to grab one of them after waiting 10 minutes at the bar (for example) and when you ask for a drink they seemed surprised that you were waiting to be served.

The hotel room was set-up to be a one night stay not for weekends or even a week stay. Bed was comfortable and I did sleep well, bathroom was clean and tidy and well laid out. At reception they did not take cash and when another member of my party paid my taxes as well they locked me out of my room and wanted the tax paid again. On check out again they did not want me to leave the hotel until I had paid the taxes again so i had to wake up other members to prove it had been paid. All the time I was getting later and later for my plane. Missed baggage check in, but just as well I had none walked directly to gate and plane was already boarding.

Great room, beautiful pool and sauna. Relatively easy to get into town except late at night. The hotel is 6 minutes walk through an unoccupied business district which is I would say potentially unsafe for lone travelers at night, so an Uber might be needed. Staff generally lovely, but on check in failed to do anything but give a room key, no orientation like breakfast times and costs, where to find food, what time the pool is open. When I asked them directly ‘is there anywhere to eat near here?’ they said no it’s just the hotel and pointed at the limited snacks available- giant family bags of crisps, snickers bars etc. I ordered a drink at the very very quiet bar and asked again if they had bar snacks and was pointed again at the same stuff. But some other guests in the lobby then said the bar do food until 10 - so I went back, found a menu and asked to order. Barman says ‘no, we don’t do food’ and turns his back on me and walks off. I’m now puzzled as well as hungry so I ask a second Barman who has just appeared if he can explain - he says the first barman meant they didn’t serve freshly cooked food and that food on the menu is reheated. When I get upset he then says the first barman intended it as a joke - ‘to cheer up tired customers’. He apologises and makes out it’s because I’m tired but i just felt humiliated and in fact blamed for the guys rude behaviour. Rest of staff lovely, but this soured my stay, being a solo traveler. Won’t be back

If I could give this hotel 0 stars, I would. For starters, we arrived at around 2 pm and were told we needed to wait till 3 pm for our rooms to be ready- fine. As 3pm rolls around, only 1/2 of our rooms are ready and the receptionist is arguing that she’s doing us a favour by giving us access to our 1 room that is ready (check in is 3pm as stated on the website). As we wait for our second room we sit down at the restaurant in the lobby of the hotel - we were told (at 2pm) that the full menu would be available at 3 pm. However, at 3 pm, we were once again disappointed as the waiter told us that only 2 out of maybe the 20 items on the menu were available. To summarize things, our 3 pizzas were baked from frozen and took almost 1 hour to reach our table. (only one employee working the restaurant AND bar?! clearly there’s a management issue here). Finally, as 10 pm rolls around, we are woken out of bed by a fire alarm. As we attempt to make our way outside, all the doors are locked! We are finally able to get to a restaurant (not affiliated with MOXY but attached to the hotel) who inform us that this is a usual occurrence and likely a false alarm. Around 10:30, an announcement is made that it was a false alarm, and, at 11 pm, ANOTHER announcement is made (again waking us up) that they are sorry for the inconvenience. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will be reaching out for a refund of the 1 night stay we booked here.

It is just awful. The staff are like sloths. We booked a twin room and when we went up to our room it was a double. So we went back down and said we booked a twin , they said they can’t give us a twin as they are fully booked. When asking for a drink I got told to come back in 5 minutes. The breakfast spread is awful too If you need something or have a question it takes them half an hour at reception to deal with it. I would just avoid this place.

Friendly and helpful check-in. We were upgraded to rooms both with outstanding views of the harbour one with double-spect windows. The rooms were clean and well-equipped but the climate control was difficult to operate and the room was quite cold overnight. Reasonable choice at breakfast but the music volume was intrusive.

We stayed at the Moxy Hotel Amsterdam from July 23rd to 30th and overall had a fantastic experience. I'd happily give it 5 stars, but I’ve marked it down slightly due to the lack of a fridge in the room — which is essential for someone like me who needs to keep snacks or certain items cool. We originally booked a standard room, which we’ve done at other hotels without issue even though my partner uses a wheelchair. On arrival, the staff were really accommodating and moved us to an accessible room the next day, which was lovely and much more suitable. The hotel itself is fun and vibrant — there’s a spa, gym, pool table, arcade games in the lobby, and even free popcorn! It has a great vibe and is ideal for both couples and families. Staff were generally brilliant and very helpful throughout our stay. However, on one occasion when our room card stopped working, all of the front desk staff were being told off (quite publicly) by a manager for not engaging with guests — ironic, since the telling-off was causing them to ignore us. Thankfully, one staff member broke away to help us anyway, though it earned her a dirty look from the manager. That was the only disappointing moment in an otherwise excellent stay. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. We’re already planning to return next year and bring more family with us — they’d love it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel, although it wasn't within walking distance to the town center. Fortunately, a convenient bus stop was located right outside, offering easy access to the center. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and our room was clean. It was good. Beware of city tax and the extra £25 a night, whcih is refunded at the end of your stay. Gorgeous location, by the boats and it is a quite area. Number 48 bus is handy, getting in and out of the city, that takes you to the station. Good and comfortable room. Modern, has aircon and wifi. Good for a 4 night stay.

Love the moxy hotel, modern and quirky. Breakfast was not great if you went for the hot option, it wasn't hot. We ordered food from the bar one night too. Chicken salad and a burger. Didn't even know a salad could be bad by it it was! Go out and eat. Or check out the restaurant upstairs maybe. Rooms were always clean, pillows need relooking at. 1 pillow was not enough but 2 was breaking your next. Woke up with either back ache or neck ache all 3 mornings, our whole group did.

Everything was perfect. My towel was dirty - I guess a rare mistake, toilet button was broken. I especially chose a harbour view but the room was so cold and not getting heated up due to all walls were windows. Restaurant food wasnt freshly made but just warmed up. I recommend to go to a real restaurant around the place. but overall my stay was okay because it was right next to the office.

Great property with a funky modern decor. Delicious breakfast and friendly staff. Evening cocktails at the bar are also delicious. Also it’s close to public transport which makes it easy to get into city center. Would highly recommend.

This is the first hotel in my experience that doesn’t collect the breakfast I paid for. It was really unpleasant. There was also no locker for clothes, although we only came with backpacks and it was not a problem for us.

Goede kamer, maar wat een rommel in ontbijtzaal. Het was niet heel druk, maar tafels en vloer worden (ondanks verzoeken) niet schoongemaakt.
