Holiday Inn - the niu, Dairy Haarlem

Wij hebben 2 nachten dit hotel geboekt. Het hotel is wel goed bereikbaar maar je kan niet voor het hotel parkeren (om je tassen/koffers uit te laden). Wel voldoende parkeergelegenheid in de buurt. Het hotel ligt op 50 meter van het oude centrum waar de winkels en restaurantjes liggen, erg prettig. 24 uurs bemande receptie wat wij prettig vinden. De kamers waren iets aan de kleine kant, maar wel ruim genoeg. Toilet en douche ook aan de kleine kant, je kan niet echt met meerdere tegelijk in de badkamer. Wij hebben het verblijf als prettig ervaren en raden dit hotel zeker aan voor een bezoek aan Haarlem.

Contemporary hotel. A 20 minute or so walk from train station. Great breakfast. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are pretty small but comfortable. Nice area on main/ lobby level for drinks and games.

Good choice for visiting the city. Parking is not easy though..

A nice hotel with a nice breakfast buffet. The staff is helpfull. The hotel is a 15 min walk from the train station. I can recommend to stay here. The reason why I only give it 4 stars is because there is no parking by the hotel, and we had to park in a public parking basement for 150 euro for 5 days.

Checking in was disappointing and the staff were unhelpful and seemed to be chatting and laughing with friends . The rest of the staff that we met were friendly, helpful and warm. The rooms were lovely and breakfast excellent. However we thought the hotel had a bistro which it didn't and the bar never seemed to be open. A snack bar would be a good addition

Camlar açılmıyor, gelecek konuklar için önemliyse dikkate alsınlar. Otel restaurant'ında kahvaltı dışında yemek çıkmıyor. Eğer iş için gelip akşam otelde yemek yerim diyorsanız tekrar gözden geçirin. Verdiğimiz fiyata göre hizmeti çok zayıf bulduk.

Keurig verzorgd hotel dicht bij het centrum. parkeren kan in de parkeergarage er tegenover. netjes verzorgde en complete kamers.

Heel schoon hotel

Builders starting at 7am and not stopping till 6pm kind of ruined our stay. No tea/coffee in room. Room behind curtains absolutely filthy, staff faffy. Wouldn’t go back

Better clean up of the rooms and toilets would be great! Location was very convenient! Staff very friendly.

Difficult to get to with luggage, but if no luggage, 15min walk from the train station. Unfortunately could hear guests from another suite arguing quite loudly each night. Bathroom overhead fan was very dusty.

Building and room were very clean, lots of windows, excellent mattress. Breakfast was a good value. Staff on hand full time for questions.

Solides Hotel, Frühstück in Ordnung. Housekeeping furchtbar, von 4 Tagen wurde das Zimmer nur an einem Tag angemessen gereinigt. An zwei Tagen wurde es vergessen und nur auf Nachfrage gereinigt, an einem Tag wurde es nur oberflächlich erledigt. Als Entgegenkommen wurde uns ein Getränk angeboten. Recht ärgerlich.

Clean and quiet. Perfect location to walk into Haarlem. Very spacious room. No wardrobe but hanging rail in room. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room but available in the breakfast area in the morning. Overall, good value for money.

Rooms are on small side but functional and clean. Bed was very comfortable and good shower. Rooms are super quiet and dark for sleeping. Very convenient for walking into the city centre and not far from station Breakfast bar is expensive so we passed and ate elsewhere.

The room was very comfortable and clean. It was a good size. Our main problem was that it was freezing. We were there in the beginning of August it was 15c. At night. We couldn't heat up the room. The desk clerk brought 1 single quilt for the 2 of us. The morning clerk said she would take care of it and only the third clerk the second eveing succeeded in turning up the hest. The breakfast was tasty. Nice choice of foods. I would recommend it.

De kamers zijn groot, schoon en niet gehorig. Het hotel ligt op loopafstand van het station. Er zit airconditioning in de kamers alleen werkt deze niet. Aangegeven bij de receptie, en zij zouden deze voor onze kamer aanzetten. Helaas deed hij het daarna nog steeds niet

Contrary to first impressions the property was a high priced budget hotel. No extra coffee, Queen bed was two twin beds. No phone. And room temperature was only controllable from front desk. Located in close proximity to main square for tourist enjoyment.

The hotel is in a fairly convenient location, and front desk staff were friendly. Our room was really small--not a lot of space to put our stuff or move around, and the bathroom was tiny. Also, you need to keep your room key in a key holder by the front door to power the lights in the room, but the light switches for everything were by the door, which made going to the restroom at night annoying because you had to go around the bathroom door to get to the light switch--inconvenient. There was also no fan in the restroom and the hotel room windows do not open, so when you use the restroom or take a steamy shower, be prepared for that to just linger in your hotel room with you!

I enjoyed my stay at the niu Dairy Haarlem. It was close to town and an easy walk to the main square. I appreciated the early check-in (for a fee) which freed me up to explore the city on the day I arrived. The late checkout time of noon meant I had time to come back and shower after parkrun the morning I was leaving. One thing that was lacking in the room was tea/coffee supplies. There wasn’t even a kettle. The windows don’t open so I had to keep the air con on all night as I like a cooler room.

Beds were super comfortable. Quiet hotel. Short walk into town and train station, close to lots of restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent stay at the hotel. Staff and manager on duty all three were amazing. So happy we stayed there and everyone when we visit Amsterdam we will stay at this hotel. Super market was walking distance. Pizza place was amazing. Loved it

Heel veel fijn hotel met erg vriendelijk personeel dat graag een stapje extra zet. Bijna in het centrum

Insgesamt gutes Erlebnis. Ein einziger Minuspunkt war die Handhabung einer Störung durch Baulärm. Es began im 2. OG am 21.08. 07:30Uhr ein systematisches Bohren 3x10s, 3x1min, 3x2min. Danach hörte ich eine Tür öffnen/schliessen und das Bohren ging dann etwas weiter weg weiter. Das letzte Bohren war Abends um 18Uhr zu hören. Ich ging gegen 9Uhr zur Rezeption Auch im Flur war das Bohren laut zu hören. Im EG war nichts zu hören. An der Rezeption gab man sich unwissenden und überrascht. Es gäbe keine Bauarbeiten, es müsse vom Nachbargebäude kommen. Man zeigte aber gar kein Interesse den Vorfall zu überprüfen, d.h. mit dem Kunde ins 2.OG zugehen und sich selbst ein Bild zu machen. Es wurde auch nicht nach meinem Namen oder der Zimmernummer gefragt. Ich gab trotzdem meine Zimmernummer an, was aber nirgends notiert wurde. Ich erhielt keinerlei persönliche Rückmeldung auf meine Meldung. Am Abend lag dann ein Schreiben an der Rezeption worin auf möglichen Lärm von "Street Work" am folgenden Tag ab 7:30Uhr hingewiesen wurde. Es gab am nächsten Tag aber keine Bauarbeiten an der Strasse. Insgesamt finde ich die Handhabung meiner Meldung nicht professionell. Ich fand mich nicht ernst genommen und dadurch entsteht auch eine Verunsicherung ob die Wahrheit kommuniziert wurde. Das Bohren war sehr nah und klang nicht als ob es vom Nachbarn kommt.

It was really convenient. Only reason to not get five stars is that the front- desk staff is pretty sparse. They were helpful but seemed restricted on account of being alone. The amenities were not not all usable due to low staff. Also, I bought a bunch of touristy gifts and there was no bag for me to bring it up to my room: so night watch guy had to lock down the building and carry up in his own arms what I could not. Possible for you guys, when having a well-stocked gift shop, to have some grocery-like bags provided for 25 cents or something? The size of the room was great, and the hotel as in a perfect location.

The staff was so kind and accommodating. We went for the Dutch Grand Prix and showed up 2 hours before check in. We had been traveling for almost 12 hours and had an event in an hour to get to. Staff went above and beyond to help us check in early to freshen up and change so we could go on time. So greatly appreciated. The room was nice, loved the bean bag chair. Hotel is modern, breakfast was excellent. I’d stay here again.

Excellent location… great staff and allowed us to check in a little early after a long flight. Clean and efficient… Super comfortable bed!

Fabulous location, close to restaurants, public transport, gyms, and nice areas to walk and explore. We normally opt to include the hotel breakfast, but found that the price was a bit high and chose to go out instead. We did appreciate the free coffee and tea in the mornings though! Be aware that there is a nightclub in the next building, the noise wasn’t terrible, but if you are sensitive, you may want to ask for a room that does not face the front street or is on the other end of the building!

Easy access to the centre, a short walk to the train and bus station. Easy check in and clean hotel.

Great location near centrum

Stayed three nights the Marathon weekend. So glad we did. Haarlem is lovely and great to dip in and out of Amsterdam which was packed. Travel is super easy and all close to the hotel. The Holiday Inn was perfect- very clean, great bed and shower so great value. Would really recommend as a way of visiting Amsterdam.

This is a clean, comfortable and quiet modern hotel at the edge of the historical centre. The staff are friendly and the welcome is warm. The room is a good size with a nice bathroom. It is a great base to do a short walk into the beautiful historical centre. It is 10 minutes walk from the train station.

Fantastic hotel! Spotlessly clean, friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. We arrived in the craziness of Kings Day and were glad it was across the canal from the city centre and those crowds on that day. The next day we had breakfast which was plentiful and delicious. We spoke to the young guy at reception when we left and told him what a great breakfast it was. He said the breakfast person was absent that day and he had had to handle it. He did an amazing job! Will stay again in this excellent hotel. Dank u well!

Das Hotel ist modern und schön eingerichtet. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und alles ist sauber. Leider kann man kein Fenster öffnen, das sollte man vorher wissen! Das Frühstück ist nicht so gut: die gekochten Eier waren kalt, der Saft schmeckte gar nicht und die Auswahl war sehr überschaubar. Das Personal war nett. Das Hotel liegt zentral.

breakfast is plentyful and high quality

Really nice hotel, very modern and comfortable. Wifi was good, bathroom was small but good, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was generally good but they only had boiled eggs and no other options for eggs.
