Good location, easy access to The Pearl; Knob Hill; downtown. Rug in the room needs to be cleaned. Ice machine on the 4th floor did not work. Last night there, I had very noisy neighbors. Loud music and very loud talk from 9pm to 4am. Called front desk twice, 10pm and 2am. Someone went up to address it at 2am. They quieted down for a short while and then back to it. The walls are thin. My recommendation to the hotel staff: If there is a group of four or so checking in to one room, do not place them right next to an occupied room. Make a judgement call. The hotel was fine in other respects but I would most likely not stay here again.

They were out of half of the breakfast menu, no to go containers and very short staffed. The majority of the staff we encountered were not concerned about taking care of their guests or making sure we had what we needed. Would not stay here again.

We had a mixed experience at this property. On the one hand, the building and breakfast were disappointing—we dealt with two different rooms that had maintenance issues (a non-functional safe and a glitching/lagging TV, AC wouldn’t cool the room ) and the pre-paid breakfast menu was consistently limited. However, the front desk team is the absolute heartbeat of this hotel. Alex Araiza went above and beyond to handle our frustrations with grace, professionalism, and genuine care. He is the primary reason we are leaving with a positive impression of the service, even if the facilities fell short. If you stay here, you’ll be in great hands with the staff, especially Alex.
