Very clean Breakfast nice Pool

Small pool

Our stay was pretty basic, all our needs were met. The room was comfortable, faucet in bath fell off, Ice machine on this floor was broken everything else worked. Not sure why the room was not made up? She came by on the day we were leaving to make up the room and I said we were checking out so don't bother. Did I miss something? Breakfast ended a little early at 9:30am, would have liked it to go later, selection pretty standard, would have liked the option for bacon (not turkey sausage, yuck).

We loved everything about our stay, but I have to admit that we purposely chose this hotel for the indoor pool, and my kids were soooo excited to swim! We got all ready in our suits, got down there, and the pool was ice cold! We couldn’t go beyond our toes, and they were so disappointed that we couldn’t swim. I would recommend removing that feature or there being a disclaimer stating the pool is not heated or closed for the winter. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay!

Staff at check in/out were nice as was the housekeeping staff. The pool was down for maintenance (didn't know that until check-in), and the breakfast options were limited (no waffle batter, no bread for toast, water was only available in the gym). Shampoo and conditioner were good, nice linens/towels as well. Convenient for our tour at ECU.

Nice clean rooms and the beds sleep nice. The breakfast was good. The pool was out of service when went.

Check in went well and was seamless, desk staff was nice. Our main light to the bathroom was out, the soap/shampoo dispensers were off the wall in the soap tray, and the ice machine on our floor was out of order.

Indoor pool is small, but we enjoyed a swim or two. Good breakfast each morning. Staff was very friendly.

Excited to be in town with family to watch a cousin play a basketball game at ECU. This was my young daughter’s first hotel stay that she can remember and she was so excited to swim after the game. We skipped out on a fault dinner out to come back to swim. Only to find the pool was freezing and appeared very dirty. She was devastated! Other than that we had a great trip but according to her it was the worst weekend. Please be sure indoor pool is warm and clean for your guests.

Very convenient to ECU and Medical Center. The indoor pool was below room temperature, but did have pool towels, so the grandkids and I used it anyway. Stayed 12-22-23. There is quite a bit of mold around the bottom of the shower that bleach would help. Floor tile grout in bath needs steam cleaning as well. Staff was very nice. Bed was very comfortable.

The property is nice and updated. The shower in the room had a stained shower floor and the shower did not get very hot.

Forgotten food from previous person in fridge.

You'll get your monies worth. The staff was accommodating and pleasant to interact with. The overall cleanliness was good, I had two concerns, the mildew that was obvious in the shower stall and the cobwebs and spider activity, in the corners of the wall, over the blinds. If you moved the blinds it disturbed the spiders. Some clorox/tilex spray would solve the mildew issue and a broom or duster, the cobwebs. There were no lingering unpleasant ordors in the room. Bed, although I don't think it was a king, it was comfortable, well made, and had exceptionally clean linens and bath towels. The breakfast area was well kept. They offered options to accommodate everyone's preferences. I was be able to have a healthy fresh meal in a clean environment. My only ask would be that there were covers for the juice cups. There was one manager, I failed to ask him his name, if he wasn't at the desk assisting the clients, he was sweeping, wiping, cleaning something - all the while humming or singing. His presence created a welcoming atmosphere. The location is strategically placed, where restaurants, diners, and discounts stores are in walking distance and easily accessible. The Fairfield is the place to stay if you want a good night's sleep away from home, in a clean, quiet, and safe environment.

Older property that seemed to be revamped but still needs maintenance as wall paper was peeling from walls and floors needed grout or cleaning in corners. Just some keen care.

Cleanliness and attention to details were not immediately apparent. Bathroom was dirty in the corners of the countertop and floor and had stains on the walls. Bed skirt had a large hole.

I am very particular & notice every little thing when I stay away from home. We happened to notice a very dark hair lying on top of the comforter & under the thin little bed topper. There was something splattered on the wall/wallpaper near the bed. It looked to be ketchup or wing sauce or something. The bathroom was ok. I've seen much worse & much better. I thought about taking pictures of these things but just didn't take the time. The bed was not very comfortable & the pillows were awful. The room was very humid/damp. No matter the temp, which we kept pretty cool due to it being so hot outdoors. We felt "sticky" in the room. With family in Greenville, we visit quite often. This was the first time we've stayed at this hotel, and it will be our last. I am disappointed it had such high ratings including the specific room that we booked rating it a 9+ "excellent," which was why I chose the room/hotel. The "pros" were continental breakfast which was decent. The front desk staff both checking in & out were friendly & efficient.

The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable!! The best!! Every was so kind and engaging. You must be very proud of your staff. The room was so clean.

The room was comfortable, not fancy. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The workout room was clean. The carpeting in the room was moist,I could not take my shoes off. The breakfast was sub-standard and we mostly ate out for breakfast.

The front desk attendant was very nice and made my check in prompt. My room was fine as well until I realize the morning the toilet didn’t work and the shower was cold. It was almost time for me to checkout by the time I realize this as I checked in late the night before and just crashed so I didn’t let them know. Other than this mishap my stay was fine for the time there.

The hotel room was clean, but the pillows were too thick and the surrounding guests were noisy and blasted music late into the night/morning. Breakfast was charged on our bill and it was not good. Very disappointed!

The air conditioning unit in the room was was very noisy when being run even at low speed.

Comfortable room. Breakfast was ok. Front desk peeps where over the top nice, accommodating and professional. Only issue i had was they literally had ultra low flow shower heads installed which made the water pressure really low.

The grounds were neat and well kept. Greeley Peterson was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The room was very modern, clean, and fresh. Will stay again!!!

Front desk at check in was extremely helpful and friendly. He was able to help us answer questions about local eateries and where to go. Room was extremely clean and comfortable.

The staff was excellent. They were friendly and quick to respond to requests --particularly the women who ran the breakfast room and the desk gentlemen.

I didn’t like the fact that my service animals was chastised by have the maid at breakfast then had the police called on me. I have never been treated like such and then 5 minutes later another guest came in with a bigger dog not chastised for being near the food like I was as if I was a child the reason I picked this hotel brand is because of my service animals and how other hotel give issues and problem so I paid for a high level of professional service and what I got was treated like a criminal I sure because I was in the antebellum south and how racist is still prevalent that the only reason that I am my service animal was harassed because of the color of my skin for that could be no other explanation when the service animal was fully marked and under control leashed and all I was trying to do was have my good ol complementary breakfast I need someone fired asap

Unfortunately, the mgr on duty was not properly trained, had a meltdown and spent over 30 min. to verify my online check in. Then assigned someone else to same room. Good thing I had safety to latch on. Part of shower trim was falling off, and no trash bin for bathroom.. so disappointed.

Chris and Greeley were extremely helpful in getting us registered and directing us to a great restaurant in bad weather conditions. At morning check out they even gave us the opportunity to extend our stay because of 4” of snow.

Front desk manager is amazing. He is friendly, he remembers faces, as soon as we walk in he greets us like a friend. He is always very helpful and he goes above and beyond what is asked of him. 10/10

I called earlier in the day to confirm my reservation and was told I could check in anytime. When we went to check in at 11:30 pm, we were told that there were no rooms and there was nothing they could do. The manager was very nonchalant and did not offer the accommodate us in any way. Fortunately we found another hotel close by, but we’re very disappointed in the way we were treated at the Fairfield.

The hotel was nice but the service was terrible! We had booked three rooms for a family gathering. When my brother went to check in that night, he was told his room had been sold. He had a reservation and had already paid for the room. The manager was terrible and kept saying there was nothing they could do and it was a computer issue. There were other clients in the same situation. My brother had to find another room on his own at 11:30 at night. The manager should have given him a credit or paid for his room somewhere else. It really put a damper on our family weekend!

Excellent all the way around! Great front desk staff. Wildlife views from my room, including nine deer at the same time one evening. Great location everything is just a few minutes away.

The room was comfortable, not fancy. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The workout room was clean. The carpeting in the room was moist,I could not take my shoes off. The breakfast was sub-standard and we mostly ate out for breakfast.

From dried SNOT,BOOGERS and hair on the shower wall, to the GROSS WET POWEDERED EGGS. This place was a mess. First and last time staying in a Fairfield. PLEASE DO NOT BUT BASED ON BREAKFAST its awlful. Frozen, bland, and sloppy like you feed to the hogs back on the farm.

Safe and clean but the breakfast was out of coffee, no hot items and only one kind of cereal. The staff was also on their cell phone and we had to wait to check in.

The hotel staff was helpful but seemed limited. The person helping with the breakfast seemed to be focusing on other tasks and left multiple food items infilled. The eggs needed to be refilled and were old. The room was clean but the property overall felt dirty. I expected more for the price that I paid for the stay. I think that is becoming common for most hotels unfortunately.
