Mouse or rat poop was in several spots of the gym. Pool was cloudy and not clean. Surprised that Wi-Fi was not free and breakfast was $18 a person. Unfortunately our AC was also extremely loud each time it cycled on throughout the night as well.

The stay was wonderful, however the pool and the hot tub had way too much chlorine in it. I had to leave because my eyes, throat and nostrils were burning from it. The temperature of the hot tub was amazing it was just the chlorine that was too much for my family

Over all staff was great but... No pool or hot tub (maintenance), no alcohol at bar time, water Luke warm in the morning. Beds uncomfortable and was above lobby so lights shining all night.

I can tell the hotel is starting to go downhill. There was way too much chlorine in the pool. I didn’t even get in. I didn’t even come prepared to swim, but I couldn’t even sit in there, and my eyes are burning the entire time not a very pleasant experience me and my whole family had to leave. They placed what seemed like six linebackers on top of us, and they were stopping and jumping all night long and into the morning. There’s no continental breakfast. They charge you $300 to stay there and then don’t give you a free breakfast. I just won’t be going back.

Whirlpool and pool great. I booked the room we needed two weeks prior. Got there at 3:30 check-in time was 3:00. First said our room wasn’t ready then at 4:00 said our room wasn’t available do to a stay over. They did not have another room that was comparable to what we needed. Ended up taking what they had. They did not offer any discount or anything. Won’t be back.

Hotel in great location, right behind the main strip. No room incidental prepay holds. Very clean! Up to date. Nice size pool and hot tub, fitness center. On-site bar and restaurant. Mattresses looked new, could be a bit softer. Overall had a pleasant stay and will book again when in Topeka. Highly recommend!

It’s a very nice hotel, it’s in a good area, and the parking lot is well lit so you feel safe outside. My complaint is: for such a nice, expensive hotel the beds are so firm we barely slept and the toilet paper and tissues are cheap and sand paper like.

Hotel itself was new, updated and clean. Nice area with lots of shopping and restaurants around. Dog friendly which is a plus. Walls are super thin though so I heard everything around me. People above me were really loud and it sounded like a stampede. Girl at the front desk looked annoyed when I arrived and barely said a word, she needs to work on her customer service skills.

Hotel clerk Erica deserves a raise for her wonderful customer service skills. After explaining that another hotel down the road took my money for a room and then booked it to someone else because I didn’t “call ahead to confirm I was still coming” Erica took it upon herself to make sure we were taken care of and accommodated. She was amazing!

System was down and person working the front had no clue what to do. Wasn’t able to see our reservation or help at all. We got put in a room with one bed. Even when I told her we needed a pull out couch. We reserved a 2 queen room. Understand it’s not her fault but a manager or someone who could handle 3 pm check in should have been there to help.

System was down so had to check in on paper and be escorted to my room. If you ever left your room you had to get escorted back. Apparently this had been going on for at least a few days.

Frequently, could not get help from the front desk--no one around and no way to contact anyone. Disliked that there were no suites--they don't have any. Unable to get any luggage racks. Another chair in the room would have been nice.

This Hilton Garden Inn has a lot of things going for it. It's incredibly convenient to I-470 through Topeka. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. We really appreciated the option to order breakfast from a menu, rather than being stuck with the breakfast buffet. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Our only quibbles with the hotel are really nitpicking details that you might expect from a more upscale facility.

No problems with this stay. It was close to good restaurants. If you haven’t been to a Culver’s … go to there. Hot pretzel bites with beer cheese is nice, great burgers, cheese curds also good. I was there to visit people, but this was a nice bit of comfort. Oh! Also head out to the small municipal airport to their morning buffet. That was a good breakfast! Yes, the only photo of the hotel was the cherry blossom mural. The rest were from the muni airport restaurant.

Nice hotel, easy to get to. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Bar/grill was a little disappointing. Not open during the day so we had to leave to get something to eat because we arrived at 3:00. I went down to the bar/grill in the evening around 7:00 while hubby took son to pool but it was closing early.

This is a very nice hotel. Clean room and comfortable beds. However, the breakfast buffet was very disappointing. Our breakfast was included as part of our booking. They typically charge $18 per person for the breakfast buffet. It's no better, and in this case worse, than the free breakfast at the Hampton Inn, another Hilton linked hotel. The hot food was very salty. Do yourself a favor, grab a breakfast sandwich at McDonalds. Apart from the bad breakfast, our stay was very pleasant.

Great stay. Clean room, helpful staff, heated pool. Only one *minor* complaint... whoever the lady was that was working the breakfast....she accused me (loudly) of not paying for our breakfast when I had payed for it at booking time. Maybe she could've been a touch less aggressive 👍
